Hello,
A question of a beginner, I read several articles that say better invest in bitcoin only (most of articles are from 2015-2016), but as bitcoin exceeds now $2500, I do not know if this rule still holds.
I want to invest a lot of money (let's say $3000), but I do not know if I have to invest only in bitcoin or other alcoins? What do you recommend?
Thank you
Yes, if you did buy bitcoin for $ 2500 then you would now be happy with a good profit. But many altcoins from Top 100 coinmarketcap have increased in price many times too. And now, almost a year later, we can compare the price dynamics and draw appropriate conclusions.

You need to keep a diverse portfolio. This is because we have witnessed a crash in the market of the Bitcoin in the early days of the year. Many people lost pretty much and few quit the business. What I want to say is that keep your portfolio diverse because it helps share the loss in case the prices in one asset you have invested in falls. The remaining invested money is still there and not gone anywhere.

Yeah you are completely right. However I would even say, that pretty many people have quited crypto market as they are afraid to lose more. Sometimes I actually think that only bounty hunters are left in this market xD As everything I see everywhere is come here are an airdrop, come here you can earn free. Can this be called an airdrop disease? x)

do not put eggs in one basket, I think you'd better invest your money in some popular coins, such as eth, neo and others. this way the profits you get will be bigger than you invest in one coin only.

Bitcoin does have a much higher price than its crypto coin. I think bitcoin is not the only investment in crypto, there are altcoins that have good prospects, and it can also be a consideration for choosing an investment.

if you want to find safe investing in bitcoin is not a problem because nowadays a lot of coins that have a good future and we can see all the coins give profit. so I think we should take advantage of this opportunity to be able to join in many coins for greater results.

Oh man $3000 bucks now in crypto is almost nothing, what can I say, bitcoin is still may work for long holding, but if you wish to get some profit, better to buy some cheap altcoins and then sell them when their price growth

The investment portfolio should be divided into 3 parts. It will be right to invest 40% in bitcoin, 40% in altcoyines and 20% in USDT

am thinking the USDT part is unnecessary... i mean the coin is pegged to USD... so there will be no profit at all. USDT is important only for trading during tides, when the market is going red to trade ur cryptos for USDT, and then in the dip, you buy your favorite coins
The fact is that I do not sell at all and do not buy for coins equivalent to the dollar. Perhaps someone knows what their benefits are, but for me they remain incomprehensible.

Your wallet should be diversified! In addition to bitcoin, you need to invest in other promising coins, altcoins, in order to minimize the risks from possible losses! I have more than 100 different coins distributed in my wallets, even if 90% of them will die in the coming years, but the remaining 10% will survive and provide me with financial stability!

Good advice, but why invest in USDT? After all, this coin is tied to the dollar, there can not be any special growth from this coin.

if you have a certain amount of money at this level, you can translate it to any kind of investment. If you invest in a coin with great value like btc, the profit will be high but it is not known that it is satisfactory.

Try to invest in both bitcoin and Altscoins there's nothing to worry about it because for me most of altcoins and especially ETH are depending in bitcoin price also if the bitcoin was in the good price the altcoin is in the impressive price also.

In this regard, it would be more logical to make crypto money choice depending on the amount of investment and the amount of investment in my view. Bitcoin is your choice if you have a high amount of money and are looking for a long time investment. If you are going to invest in short term and small amount, you can do business with a reliable Altcoin. One thing you should not forget is the fact that Crypto money can usually provide you a good income in as little as 6 months.

The altcoins fall very quickly as they rise very fast. If you are looking for a secure investment, getting a bitcoin with all of your money can be a sensible choice. But putting a basket on all the eggs is not the right choice for the stock market and investment Smiley

here I myself can be said newcomers, who do not know much about investment, which is a good coin to be invested, but I often read in this forum about a good investment for the long term, which until now many people invest there, namely Bitcoin , for my capital $ 3000 is a lot of capital, so you can buy bitcoin at current prices, even if you want to buy another altcoin, I suggest you buy Ethereum, because I think Ethereum is also good for long term investment.

so if you invest in btc with as much money as you say you will not pay much money but if the investment in subcontracting is done in a solid way the long road can be seen 5x 10x.

Actually investment in bitcoin is one of the good idea, but I was not agree regarding solely investment because not all of the time bitcoin are raising up. Sometimes due to unpredictable fluctuation of all coins in crypto currency community investment in bitcoin are largely damage, so on my own investment in bitcoin only is not practical. I suggest to invest in different coins and altcoins to assure that in the future you will gain income.
I agree with you mate. Yes,bitcoin is a very good coin to invest but as what you have said and what we all really knew bitcoin is unpredictable the value will raise immediately also when it fall down. What I have learned was to divide my money for investing diffetent coins which is good and promising. In investing you should knew and study what will be the coins you want to invest you can also check in the market so you will have guide.
