It's getting ridiculous here. People are now investing just because of the hype or just from watching the scores given by Icobench, ICOratings etc.

You're doing it wrong. You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

This is valid for both bounty hunters (because they are wasting their time) and ICO participants (wasting money).

Yes I can agree with you on this, I myself have once decided on participating an ICO based on an online ICO rating,  and 2 of the ICOs ive participated, one barely reached their softcap and the other failed. That was a mistake for me though.

What potential poin do you consider ?
The project when you're join right now ? Are you able guarantee that your project will success ?
If you can predict it right, you're multi billionaire now because in crypto world everything still unpredictable until now

Invest responsibly in not only cryptocurrency but anything such as stocks, forex, etc.  Don't put your babies milk money into cryptocurrencies and then panic when you're losing money.   If you're eating ramen just to buy cryptos, that's not being responsible either.
We should always be on balance on all sorts of things not only on investment side but also into other things as well. As an investor we should really be responsible thru our actions since we are already involving our own money to use up in sorts of investment and as being suggested only used up the money which arent being used into your priorities and needs in life. Dont make any compromisation into those things only allocate amounts which you can able to risk on.

personally, I think, before investing, I recommend that all new entrants have at least some time to look at the market, to learn about successful projects, as well as those that do not work. Because Most of the people here are the ones who may have kept surplus funds certain with those earned from their hard work. So if you start investing at least with minimum knowledge, you will have a greater chance of making a profit, than losing money.

Look for ICOs with a good idea (market demand, profitability) from good people (reputation, experience).
There are also lots of good cryptocurrency blogs with well explained comparisons of recent ICOs, for example, here is a good recent one, all the guy' previous advice seems trustworthy: 5 Moon-shot ICOs set to shine in April and May 2018 - btw, his top 5 ICOs to invest in these two monts are: LCCX, Truegame, BitRewards, Minerva, XTRD.

Yes that is true. People should go through a thorough research of the project, see what the community thinks about it by joininh their telegram, etc. and  ask other experienced people's opinions about the specific project. If they are investing their hard earned momey/spending their precious time doing the bounty, they should make sure their money/hard work doesnt go to waste.

The hype around the project does not guarantee its success. I think that many scammers deliberately create a hype so that newcomers do not analyze the reliability of the project.

Even though you are right in logic - crypto environment has developed in the manner that most uneducated FOMOs are investing blindly and 30-40% of their investment yield 3-5x..
Which skyrockets their high esteem and over confidence.
I have seen several very experienced stock traders complaining crypto foolish behavours.. Smiley

actually none of us know whats will be happen after those ICOs are already passed its tokensale
even with a good team and the exp on cryptos, it doesn't guarantee this time it will succeed just as before

ico score are just number, their calculation could be wrong
personally, i just look at the ICO with a famous and good partnership, last time i follow their bounties, its really make me to paid off all my bills

Really sound advice, and a truly apt time to educate yourself, apart from the required research, enough to establish and grow with this industry. Most people are just whiling their time looking at the charts, but being a part of a future from its infancy can apart from being an exhilarating experience, is a really responsible one too.

I agree. I think the best way to invest is to make sure you're getting a piece of the company when you do. With Pinkdate, each token pays out a portion of the companies profits every 3 months.

That is absolutely true, I have seem some of those ICO ratings and they are mostly based on stupid considerations, and yes, no ICO is perfect and no team delivers fully. I think that is not uncommon in venture capital.

Thank You for advice. This makes sense especially in the bear market when prices are constantly going down. So if to do a good research and to buy some of these coins, at least it will be Your personal decision and personal lessons. And it will be much more easy to hold them through all the doubts on the way up Smiley

I think that that good investors is now how to invest wisely they really read and research everything before they invest, you have to learn so many things before you become a good investor.
Investing requires people to research before going into an investment. If they don't research the coin then they could be investing in a scam.
Yes it is true. It is necessary to do your own analis. Read the idea of the project and whitepaper.  I recently found one project called lccx.io - looks like promising exchange based in London.  Well developed white paper, experienced team, located in politically stable jurisdiction.
