From #general channel on Slack where Dominik stated yesterday.

Quote
we will absolutely give a very positive update this week. Like I said before, we're right now wrapping things up on our end and will then post something in #announcements. So watch that channel...

I think its very promising that Dominik is basically saying "you will get it %100'
that has been a given since the beginning Smile
the spam attack on IOTA + fixing the network issue took more than 3 weeks of our time.

after rolling their own crypto I think IOTA have destroyed all their credibility in front of the technical people. Their only credibility is in front on noobs and technically illiterate people. No offence Smiley

No offence, of course, we don't expect non-cryptographers to get why own cryptographic primitive was justified.

implementing your own, not tested and non-standard algorithm is never justified. It's the worst thing you can do in the security world. Nobody will take you seriously if they discover something like this in an audit.

Like Bosch?

it's still remains to be seen how serious Bosch takes this. We all know how the Microsoft partnership fiasco ended like

Nice price rise today.

Yeah. Currently on Binance there are two sell walls at 0.0058 and 0.006. Let's hope they get eaten so the price can rise even more Smiley

Make sure you quote the whole thing.

No need to quote the whole thing, your claim "No FUD here" was funny, because you were spreading FUD.

What FUD have I spread? Please explain from my comments below

Iota devs are a pack of thieves?

Iota were taken from users seeds and placed into an IF wallet?

Iota devs have promised to return those stolen funds several times?

Iota devs still haven’t paid back any Iota yet?

Also, after you threaten to make sure I never get my Iota back, why would I publicly post any of my addresses? There are plenty of people in your circle that know I’m legit. AND am I fact speaking the truth. Couple even said they would buy my seeds because they were so confident that devs are going to return the stolen funds. Yet none have paid anything. Their confidence has waivered

And even if I didn’t have any Iota affected by this particular issue, doesn’t change the validity of the issue.

Maybe just take some time away from public forums, until actually have a work Token. Then you can repay your early investors.

What kinda cheese would you like with your whine?

3 fanboys in a row. Not one mention of any of my remarks being FUD. The truth still stands at, Iota devs have stolen users funds. Have promised to return it multiple times( for months ) But have to do so.

That was a joke, I thought that was pretty obvious.

Legendary ( creator ) member would rather taunt and intimidate users, than fix the broken token he represents.

Speaks volumes for the real state of affairs with Iota.

Don't play innocent victim card, I have already showed that your logic is flawed. You also failed to provide a proof of ever having any iotas.

Always sinking.. always down.. no organic growth, only if something is achieved. It almost feels like there is a hole in the socket considering the name, and the purpose! Devs are arrogant, maybe they should just work on the most important things and hire someone nice to talk to the community.

Hi guys, check out my swot analysis of IOTA here http://cryptoinvestorsguide.com/iota/
Looking for feedback so let me know if I should add/remove anything.
Cheers.

The iota core software (IRI) which runs the protocol is open source - https://github.com/iotaledger. The only thing which is not open source is the coordinator.

Coordinator is not the protocol level software and you don’t have to use it if you build your own wallet or client. However, the current official wallet uses coordinator and does not provide an option to run without the coordinator.

IOTA still cheap to invest ?

The concept of DAG was first implemented by IOTA.  So they have the first mover advantage. The other competitor is Byteball, which is not that popular. We had a massive run lately for all altcoins following bitcoin run.

I would wait to see how the market adjusts after the holidays before putting hard earned money into crypto  Grin

You can try buying some at the moment ; a price around 3  USD is always a good price; remember price was around 5USD just a couple of days ago. But yes, generally we need to wait a bit more or market consolidation and then act.
