I saw someone posted in reddit that this is coming to Bittrex,can anyone here verify it and have an idea when that might materialise? Obvious implications for price if/when that happens.
not only bittrex all major exchanges in 2-5 weeks
How do you know that? Was this announced by the devs or something?
ive read it somewhere ( reddit i believe) bittrex and kranken will list it for sure
There was no official information or confirmation. It’s only speculations for now…
Hi everyone, Has anyone had the same problem with the new upgrade to 2.4 The upgrade has not gone well for me so heres the problem. Followed the instructions on the blog exactly. Completed the transition and entered new seed but when i login to iota version 2.4 with new seed, it shows no balance even after generating over 250 addresses.
Any ideas what not right. i was connected using lite wallet with bitfinex server.
I also notice that the history in my new seed shows 0 addresses and 0 transactions Any help will do
I am using the new version 2.4 lite wallet and tried several nodes but after I do the transition from my old seed to new one the wallet just says transitioning and the wallet window goes black. Any help please
The transition window does not say it was sucessfull.
The new seed does not show any incoming transactions as well when i login in to the new seed.

While i was away i had this little idea.
Wouldn't it be better that iota devs or someone with the iota skill create a site where all iota token holders can transition from old seed to new seed everytime there is an upgrade.
I suppose something like this:
User can logon onto website:
1 Enter old seed
2 Get all balances linked to old seed

Is it possible for anyone to create something like this that is open source

Try reattach instead of rebroadcast. Rebroadcast does not work for your case. Try reattach every 30 minutes. You will be fine.
Ok. Ive tried that a couple of times after Ive made the Transition. Ill keep trying and hopefully everything Will be Ok.

IOTA is a ground breaking technology so don't miss your chance to acquire some even small amount. This is future my fellow altcoin enthusiast.

1. What's the recommended approach to purchasing IOTA? (would anybody have a how-to guide or something..?)
2. If I download the software from Github I run into the following message on my Mac: "IOTA Wallet” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer." Is that normal?

1. you should buy some BTC and then transfer it to bitfinex .. here you can buy the iota for BTC.
2. This is normal, you should go to your system preferences, click security and privacy (and on the bottom you will be able to click to open IOTA)

How is that NEO better than IOTA? 
It's just on more exchanges then IOTA yet.
How is an apple better than a pear?
With good research a few weeks ago you would not ask why NEO is in the top ten. And NEO is also not on many exchanges so far...
Both coins are great and will stay in top 10.
And the market cap is similar by the way.
