Thank you! Is there anywhere we can see the progress of jinn hardware development or any info?

Yes, I will post a huge update as soon as we have launched IOTA, also having explanatory video made and a full website detailing the processor etc.
In short: we'll exit stealth mode soon after IOTA launch Smiley
Nice! Looking forward to the updates.  Smiley

Compare http://188.138.57.93/IRI-0.9.0.alpha-src.zip to the previous version and to the next one which will be released later and you'll see changes that justify "another week without nothing running on the mainnet".

Who will do the maintanance of the GUI after launch? This will be a continuous for future.

Have you thought to have a full time dev for UI, instead of contractors here and there.

Up to the community. IOTA is for IoT aka machine-2-machine payments primarily, I don't see a lot of UI updates being necessary in that regard. However of course IOTA might also end up being used for other more human transactions, but again that's up to the community.

Maybe you just need to be patient?

If you invested, perhaps you should have done more due diligence and fully understood what you were doing?

In all fairness, I think he has been patient. I believe Iota knows that and that's why there is a defensive tone in the response posts. In the long run, I hope the delay in UI won't matter, but timing can be everything so who knows. Not everyone can test Iota based on what's available (I tried but I'm just not technical enough to do anything beyond run a node). Anyway, speculators, holders, buyers, sellers are all important to Iota, so I wouldn't dismiss them and label everyone critical as a "Troll". Once we have GUI, we can establish an open market for Iota and hopefully encourage more testing, 3rd party development, and general adoption.

Not at all. We have had this attitude towards random speculators from day 1, BEFORE launching crowdsale, not defensive at all. You bought IoT software, not human software.

I still dont get it why we need a nice looking GUI, the whole project is obviously concepted for the big players in the field of IOT, the GUI youre looking for is a nice to have for the average cryptotrader nothing more. The Product itself dont need a GUI. I couldn imagine that the big players need a prety good looking GUI with animations or what ever, the function of IOTA counts, nothing more.

I agree. The release of IOTA was delayed because supposedly the community demanded a better GUI. Then IOTA was modified to reuse addresses. It turned out that it's not really possible to reuse addresses and the GUI got delayed multiple times. Being added to Azure doesn't mean that much too, because every other altcoin got added and the whole process is easier than anyone thought. It's ridiculous how much IOTA got delayed, and the same is with Jinn. If IOTA will not get released until May i will just give up on this project and consider that this was a scam.  Embarrassed

"It's ridiculous how much IOTA got delayed" Have you done testing? It has been possible since January, something tells me you have not. GUI got delayed several times due to unprofessional third parties, yes, but optimization and testing of IOTA has been ongoing for months, so claiming it is a scam just exposes that you're a useless troll.

Also love how you conclude that it's "ridiculous" how much a brand new technology got delayed. Do you remember how much Ethereum got delayed? And they had an army of devs and 18 million dollars at their disposal.

Also why do you even mention Jinn? Jinn is a microprocessor project, even Intel with hundreds of billions spends over a year just iterating a new processor, we're making one from scratch on a shoestring budget, of course it'll take more than a year.

People need to learn to stop speaking without thinking.

Ok, maybe this is not a scam and you're really trying to make this work.  Cheesy

It's just, until the IOTA is liquid there will always be people that complain and whine. I've seen this in many other cryptocurrency projects. Some of which were eventually launched and some remained vaporware.  Wink

On the topic of Foundation: I see a lot of people want to pledge the proceeds from the 'Big deal' sales to the foundation. This is a great thing and I am very proud that we got such a forward thinking community that understand the importance of having continuous growth and active people ensuring future expansion of IOTA. If most of the pledged 'Big deal' proceeds go to the foundation I'll set the new limit on the Foundation to 30 million IOTA, instead of 50 million.
hi community IOTA
I have add new column % of the deal given to the Foundation  Cool
