I will also donate 100% of the btc earned from the deal to the foundation.

I will as well, but when will be deal??? We are still waiting for something...

You sound like an old man Smiley  Are you going to die soon? Is that why you keep asking when when when?

Be patient. You invested. The value is going up. Be happy. Stop asking when and start asking "what can I do to make Iota more successful?"

Will links for that be posted on ryver or here? It's hard to keep up with ryver, so much is over my head... i'd like to see it here personally.

IOTA chat room has been switched to Rocket Chat - http://chat.iotatoken.com/ from the Ryver. We no longer use Ryver any more.

Yes, I'll happily also donate 100% of deal proceeds to foundation.

Great news about test gui for us non-tech types too. I'll have a qualified opinion for just how idiot proof it really is Wink

yay!

big hype marketing the event where IOTA becomes liquid!

I guess they need it to secure the network. The more transactions - the more secure is the network.

It doesn't matter if GUI is fancy at this stage. Personally, i would have been happy with your initial GUI. Just please make IOTA liquid. Thanks.

Yes, but there's 2 sides to this. We deliberately want IOTA to become liquid at the same time that we enter the last stages leading up to launch, we want the focus of everyone to be on the potential of IOTA, not people trading iotas back and forth. But yes, very soon the GUI will be out and we enter the last stage of beta.

I can see that IOTA is mature story and not on exchange yet? any plans?

Yes, I'm in touch with 6 different big exchanges and working out a big 'marketing campaign' with them to boost the launch event further.

Some news:

It was a bad decision to adopt address reuse, the scalability got a big negative impact and now I'm reverting this feature. Iota is designed for machines which can live without the address reuse, it's still possible to create a protocol on top of Iota messaging to support aliases for transfers though.

To add to this update:

We'll release a bare-bones UI without all the fancy animations and beautified icons, which will be extremely easy to use and nice, but not the final version, so that everyone can send/receive and experiment with IOTA in last stage of beta that we're entering now. This means everyone should prepare to begin testing, the more testing = the faster release.

Re: reverting decision on reusable addresses, just shows that we need to focus on the machine-2-machine nature of IOTA, not human use, which is why I am so negative towards all those begging for GUI instead of spending time on what matters: IOTA's IoT nature.

On the topic of Foundation: I see a lot of people want to pledge the proceeds from the 'Big deal' sales to the foundation. This is a great thing and I am very proud that we got such a forward thinking community that understand the importance of having continuous growth and active people ensuring future expansion of IOTA. If most of the pledged 'Big deal' proceeds go to the foundation I'll set the new limit on the Foundation to 30 million IOTA, instead of 50 million.

Other than that: There'll be big news will come soon about new partnerships, new website, professional video made and C# client in addition to our JAVA one.
