So Fetch is a bit of a duplicate of IOTA but with yet unknown detail differences. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Competition is always good for the market imo, outside of the basic concept how closely is it related roughly speaking.

Could not find any information. If it is related to IOTA we will sooner or later hear about it in an official statement from IOTA. Alternatively you could ask in Discord. Sometimes the founders are quite talkative about rumors and upcoming technologies.

Yes. 2018 many things will go forward with IOTA. Just consider the genreal update from Dom a few days ago. I also don´t like the current wallet very much, but it is safe as long as you don´t use any online seed generator. New Trinity wallet is also in progress (currently in alpha testing). After the recent, huge "IOTA stolen"-online-seed-FUD-panic-shit I can understand if it takers longer to deliver a 101% secure and user-friendly wallet.
I only can recommend everyone to watch the weekly Tangleblog videos at Youtube to stay up-to-date. The IOTA start wasn´t very smooth and each wrong fart was punished with huge FUD-campaigns. But look at all of these qualified personalities and developers, as well as collaborations with Global Players. Does anyone really believe they all would invest such a plenty of work, engagement, manpower and money into IOTA if it would be a sh*tcoin? Just put one and one together.

Whose prediction are you looking for? Some random dude's on on forum or? I suggest you do your own research on coins you are interested and then decide for your self if you want to invest. Theoretically it can be worth billion dollars or zero dollars. No one ones for sure. These kind of questions are everything that is wrong with crypto. Trying to get rich overnight. Iota went x10 in less then a year and some people are not satisfied with it. Try getting those returns anywhere else...

Can you specify your question please? I do not really understand what you mean.
Do you mean where the data of the wallet is stored on your local machine? If so, you should provide your operating system. Wallet data is stored in different locations depending on you're using Windows, Mac or Linux.

Regarding issues on Bitfinex, Any chance to get Iota on other exchanges ? Any possibility to withdraw Iota from this exchange to send it on a wallet?
Is this hypothetical or are you currently experiencing problems?
If hypothetical, I've never had problems with Binance. Transferring funds from there usually works fine, sometimes its been congested and withdrawal takes a day or so.
So use Binance if you can get an account ( if you are US citizen I think they have restrictions)
PS. As always - NEVER use exchanges to store any coins long term, thats what wallets are for
Don't know if you noticed, but almost every ICO/new project has on its website some DAG/Tangle background, even if most of them are ERC20 tokens. Does it say about the future ?
The blockchain has proven to have big problems with scalability, so now many are introducing dag based projects .
2018 is considered as the year of the dag.
I think they just like to use the background to show people the relationship of everyone when join in the network
and more over, dag'll become reality applycation just when price of the coin is stable.
ALL OF MY IOTA HAVE VANISHED FROM MY WALLET?!
I opened my wallet for the first time today in a long time and my wallet was empty. I tried to reattached my address to the tangle to see if that did anything and nothing. So I've searched the tangle for my address and this is what it says?
As far as I'm aware all I have ever done is transfer my IOTA from Bitfinex to my wallet back in December and have never touched it since.
Does this look like my wallet has been hacked and the money stolen?? Or is there something I'm not doing right to access my funds?
