moribana, I can break the law, put myself, my business, my family all at risk by doing so, that is not something I am going to do. This would also jeopardize the solution, do you want that?

Sorry for breaking into your conversation, but if disclosing the WeEx details constitutes breaking the law, why would you announce to the world that you're law-bound to keep silent?
It's effectively telling your investors "We just stepped into a shady operation, even talking about it is illegal."

Those that know me or have had direct personal communication with me, know that I will be doing everything I can. Nothing suspicious, under hand or anything. I know some people with stuck funds have contacted me personally and thanked me for taking a lead in resolving the whole mess. I want this out of the way as much as anyone, including full explanations.

Not at all. If I could not talk about something then I would prefer not to speak. I really like clear-cut things. You are involved in resolving the WeEx problems, that is fine. Then you make a two-sentence statement to the effect that you are working on it but cannot disclose anything more and you cannot even tell when you will be able to reveal the details.

This is really all the information there is in your two statements about WeEx. But the very fact that you are telling it in 50x more words than needed makes some people suspicious. So maybe it is just a cultural difference. Maybe some people like long sentences without much information.

Anyway, I wish you success both in this and other endeavours. The bitcoin community needs it.

We do have our own ideas for CR on our part towards the Bitcoin community, such as a fee free pool to help decentralize the mining a little, our devs are interested in the open source community and will no doubt try and find time to help on the client etc.

I do not quite understand this optimism. Most of the update is actually news already featured in the mainstream media. The part concerning WeExchange has no actual information content. Empty words, tautologies. My favourite one is "any speculation with regards to our involvement is in fact nothing more than pure speculation."

It reminds me of this:

"To expostulate what majesty should be, what duty is, why day is day, night night and time is time were nothing but to waste night, day, and time. Therefore, since brevity is the soul of wit and tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes, I will be brief. Your noble son is mad. Mad, call I it, for to define true madness, what is 't but to be nothing else but mad?"

Neo&Bee might be the greatest bitcoin company in the galaxy but this sort of communication does not really move anything forward.

Hi Danny, thanks for update, sounds awesome Smiley I was wondering, since your whole business depends on bitcoin which is an open source project, do you plan to "give back to the community" at some point in the future, like hiring a full-time bitcoin-qt dev?

In the big picture ... they are giving much much more for the whole bitcoin community.

Yes all of our developments that are in process right now and in the future will benefit shareholders.

Then I am happy Smiley

Neo & Bee Update November 28th 2013

WeExchange Issue Resolution
...Internally we are under a legal advice not to disclose the origin of these problems, of which we are desperate to change, the minute that we can explain the full extent of the issues and how it will be resolved, we shall do just that.

I like ThickAsThieves as an alias, but in this context...

TATi & Danny thanks for update, i want to ask ... that "Portfolio Management Service" will be part of NEOBEE operations, right? Not different company. So we're also involved there as shareholders? BTW brilliant idea.

Some of the spelling and grammar makes me cringe and reminds me of bad investments in the past.

The thing that worries me and colleague investors the most is this strange Weex involvement and why this is being handled so secretively.

Besides what I mentioned above, this is a pretty descent update and I look forward to the video :-)!

I don't want anything to be secret but I also value not breaking certain restrictions placed upon myself and the business, the minute more can be shared it will be.

Of course, I don't expect you to break any agreements you might have made. It's just a strange story... I'm looking forward to when you can tell us all about it.

If I didn't think it was a problem that could a) be fixed for the communities benefit and b) be of any benefit to Neo & Bee in the long term then I certainly wouldn't devote any of my time to it.

My grammar and spelling is definitely linked to my local dialect, so apologies for that.

No apologies needed at all, I didn't expect everyone to take my statement on spelling and grammar so seriously :-).
As explained in my previous post, some things just reminded me of IPO's that crashed and burned in the past.

I'm actually very happy with the quantity AND the quality of your updates!

When will those restrictions be lifted?

It doesn't give me a lot of confidence that you get involved in a collapsing exchange AND you have to remain quiet about the deal to your shareholders.  That implies that press of the deal would not go over very well.

fwiw, having spoken with Danny, I can tell you part of the grammar awkwardness is a British dialect thing.

Also, you made a spelling error Wink

Hehe, I could have fixed my own mistake when I noticed it, but I didn't :-).
It's actually pretty funny Cheesy. Anyway, everyone makes mistakes :p.

Also, I didn't really think it was that bad... I just couldn't help but make a mental link to when I read statements from the Labcoin team, and we all know how that turned out :-).
