Exactly. It drops each year and to panic, means you just started to follow Bitcoin, but if you been for long, you would know it's normal behavior for cryptocurrencies.

As of now the price of bitcoin is down to $6000 and I think it is very bad because you can totally lose a lot of money. Furthermore, I think in the coming bitcoin will bounce back and I guess the price will rapidly increase. Many people believes that in the coming year bitcoin will totally adopt by all countries and by all governments.

Objectively speaking, every moment in the present is a crucial time for Bitcoin, but you'd have to say the most crucial year would probably have had to be its first year. Like any newborn project, that's when it's most vulnerable. Who would adopt it? Who would work on it? Who would use it? Who would attack it? The earliest years saw bugs, exploits, other external threats.

People thought last year's fork was a crucial time, but I think it's safe to say the unfolding events since then have been underwhelming. People now will think regulatory decisions will decide the path for Bitcoin, but forget that regulations have always been looking at Bitcoin, in stark periods of activity even since 2010.

I can't see any specific, realistic threat looming this year. And media noise doesn't count.

Like what i always said before, no one can give the exact prediction about the price of bitcoin. Yes 2018 is very crucial for bitcoin as it had suffered a major downfall in this year.Market value of bitcoin of ng lowest in this year.Many investors had stopped investing in BTC due to many fake news regarding the end of bitcoin.Bitcoin will surely take months to attain its original position.It was expected that bitcoin price will reach the highest value by the end of this year but due to major downfall in the month of may and june this will now become difficult.Hope that in 2019 it will attain its highest position.

2018 Cannot be substantially concluded as the crucial year for bitcoin. Despite the decline of bitcoin price since the start of this year does not signify any marks but from the crypto world concept there are time and seasons when experience their fluctuation but we hope bitcoin will experience some constancy in price and even rise. I personally hope the years ahead we bring good market price for bitcoin.

well i think this year for bitcoin really will be decisive, because, in addition to solving its urgent problems, it will be necessary to solve problems of a more global plan. i think Bitcoin will develop for sure. I don't see any competitor of Bitcoin. But there is room to grow other crypto's as well. The listed Crypto's has the big chance of growing in the next few months: Altcoin, Ethereum, SciDex, PTC, BTC etc.
