Currently its not at all as previous years has been better off this 2018 but we still needs to wait till end of the year to do proper comparative
It is impossible to predicate about bitcoin. But according to the chart of bitcoin. The bitcoin is always goes to upward direction at the time of year ending. So maybe this year too bitcoin will break their last time highest record.

Many beleive that 2018 is crucial year for bitcoin because they expected enourmous growht after the end of 2017 and when that din't happen they think this is very bad year for bitcoin that influenced the price in negative way. But I think it's just the question of expectations and we still have half of the year to go, so everything is possible.
Also, in the sense of regulation nothing dramatic hasn't happened either in postive or negative way, so there is no mass regulatory adoption or mass ban like some expected.

Well it is so unfortunate that bitcoin market price could not ge a good market price. As we all know that last year 2017 was a very good time for bitcoin and it even reaches its peak market price to 19K usd compared today that could barely go beyond 9K USD or 10K USD. I could barely imagine what really happen to bitcoin and why the market price could not go high compared to the 2017 market price for bitcoin.
think it was crucial for bitcoin in the start but latter on now it is good and hope in the mid of the 2018 the time will resume that the value of the bitcoin will touch the peak again.This might have caused the sudden increase in Bitcoin's popularity.
I think it was predictable that there would be a fall. but honestly, I didn't think consolidation and correction would be so long. but now it becomes logical

2018 has been a most challenging year for bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market entirely because the market has face so much challenges that made it very difficult for the Price to recover to where it was before the end of last year 2017. But even at that I still believe that the price of bitcoin will rise above $11000 before the end of the second quarter of this year 2018.

Yeah, I agree to what you have been said. The year 2017 is one of the most crucial year to bitcoin because at this point the bitcoin hit its peak price which is its slighlty souns crazy because who will expect that bitcoin can have a expensive price like that.
