All in a wild drawdown. time to buy
I think investing in alternative cryptocurrencies today is more profitable than in bitcoin or other oldies. Bitcoin is too heavy to make X, but alternative coins are light enough capitalization for this.
It is always risky who wants to make money must risk it. The greater the possibility of gain, the greater the risk
It depends on which altcoins. Look at the project, its achievements and intentions. I take part in one project and I know it's hard work. However, it pays to do it honestly and systematically. You can not worry about hatred. You must enjoy what has been achieved and have plans for the future

If the value proposition and niche of altcoin is unique to the market and it really cares about the community, then I would presumably say it's not risky at all in the long term. However, for short term, I have no idea honestly.

Actually mate, here in crypto currency community everything is risk and you should aware on that all the time as you are planning to invest. Also, we cannot control everything since many all of us here hoping to be lucky enough as we choose a good coin to invest.

Altcoins or bitcoin both of them are risky to invest but it will give good returns too if you follow the cryotocurrency investment rules like never invest more than you can afford to lose and buy at the price is low and hold your coin in long term to get the real profits but bitcoin is little bit safer when compared to other coins in my opinion.
If you buy low now and hodl, it will probably rise eventually and you'll get a positive ROI.

I would prefer to invest right now when the total capitalization is 250 billion, and not in December-January when there were 800 billion.
Just think, the market is just beginning, now about 1,600 tokens and coins, 95 percent are complete rubbish, which will die in 1-2 years, but there are projects with strong command, idea and support, I advise you to find them and not buy much. No, The profits for those who bought at a higher price will be less. Now there are no risks for those who buy because now the price is low. Its price is not always low. So if you buy now you can get good profits.

This could be a good time to buy quality,the emphasis is on quality,coins as market has been dropping recently but there has benn a few green candle days recently suggesting bottom may be near and recovery on way.

we can not conclude 80% ICO scam. because ICO is one for people who want to invest if they want to make a profit. Indeed there is now a scam ICO but we can not conclude 80% ICO scam.
I think this is the right time if you want to invest because the price is still cheap it will certainly get a little advantage to invest in one altcoin
Bitcoin, altcoin, ICO's are risky not only now because of what we are seeing with the current market situation. Before investing, you should know that your money is at risk and there's no easy money that will just come to your account after buying your desired coin. If the current altcoin market is also down same as bitcoin, this is the opportunity to take that risk as it can go up sooner or later.

It depends, because there are so many good altcoins with promising potential, and there are too shitcoins as well. So the good altcoins like ETH, Ripple, and few other coins are expected to go up again after some amount of time. You dont need to panic about them because their prices are known by volatility.
It depends on what altcoin do you prefer to invest. But preferably, ethereum is a really nice pick to invest in. You can buy eth with a lower price. You may think that it is pretty risky but one characteristic of eth is its volatility like bitcoin. It may dump at this moment but soon it will regain its value.
This is the best time to invest in some large and medium cap altcoins but with some utility or use case. The cryptocurrency market will certainly flourish but with the lesser coins and the ones with utility. Most of the altcoins will turn zero in long term. If you aren't into day trading or short term trading and not looking for tick trades or quick profits, invest in some high utility coins like VEN, POWR, WABI, ETH etc for long term. You can scalp good profit and higher margins than any other traditional asset but with less risk involved.
