Of course we have to be selective, because many altcoins are dead, if the goal is long term or at least 6 months then buying the top 100 altcoins listed on Coinmarketcap is a good and safe thing.
Yes, and if 100 different Altcoins feel like a lot, then you can reduce it by half, because those in the top 50 and above on coinmarketcap are also very good to have in the long term with a duration of 6 months.
The top 50 I think is still not relevant. maybe more details can go to position 10 or 20 coinmarketcap so that it can be really relevant to choose the best coin. so I think it's a good thing to determine the best coin price and good price for investment
I agree with you it's better to choose a coin between the top 10 or 20,
i think it's much safer but again we also need to do some research for me that's an important thing,
what is clear is that there are many good and safe altcoins for investment, no need to worry

That is why you do your own research before investing and participating in a newly developed altcoin in order to about getting scam. It is really important for you to do your deep and rigorous researching. Also, I suggest that instead of investing to a not familiar altcoins try to invest on the top rank altcoins because its more safer than newly develop coins.
Yes, basically all Altcoins need to be researched well, but the ones that are already at the top I don't think need to be researched anymore because the best are always on top and will not be able to be beaten by the new ones, so everyone just needs to research new Altcoins in depth until the potential is proven.

if you think for the long term I believe top market assets are the recommendations of many people.
Never trust a new project with a crappy partnership. take a look at their partnership and product planning. it will be a little safer than scammers.
if you have trouble choosing a new project, it's better to choose top assets that are already on the market such as BNB and ETH. it will definitely be profitable if you are patient and don't panic easily.

All altcoins never be safe for investment because recently most of the meme coins available in cryptocurrencies market are shit coin and scams . Because investing in cryptocurrencies you should deeply analyst and justify. Don't invest in shit coin.
it's just your opinion on this market but what it's going on I see for altcoins at this stage that the top coins are some of the best choices.

I know it's a matter of recent trends but remember that stuff is always trash in this space and don't take shitcoins as a whole.

Personally, if you want to invest in new altcoins, I always look for those with large communities such as Twitter and Telegram accounts that already have more than 10k followers. although that is not the main benchmark at least the altcoin is not easily manipulated by whales. most importantly white pipers and their vision of being in the market must be clear and viable in the crypto world.
Why would you like to take risk from the new altcoins when we have a huge opportunity from the exchange listed altcoins. I can give you a huge community of followers, but the whole including users are fake. A big community can't give us legit projects. Now some altcoins are very safe to do any kind of investment, but your research must be included.

It is worth to invest in different altcoins as long as you choose a good and trusted project. Although others make huge profit through an altcoin with just a pump and dump scheme, it's to risky but if your a riskier person then it's up to you. Investing needs proper learning about the coin you want to invest to ensure that you will gain profit on it.

I've been following some podcast and trends online on some new projects that looks promising but I don't move in to invest.
Most of this projects are just hyped and at the end it becomes a shit and waste of time and money but not all are the same.
Because they are some fake projects doesn't mean all altcoins project are scam, before you invest on any project you need to DYOR, go through  like you are an ambassador of the project don't just seat and say okay because the coin is trending so you want to invest., that's the reason most of us lose to scam project.

We sometimes have meetups in our area with other fellows who do cryptocurrency. And when it comes to talking about altcoins, they rarely recommend the high risk coins like DOGE and SAFEMOON. It is only Bitcoin and Ethereum, that they always tell people to invest or trade with. In some rare occasion one of the fellas told me to invest in MATIC as for him that is the only real deal. He give out his own reasons why not to invest in ADA and he is not a fan boy of DOGE either. We are a weird bunch but we do enjoy a good crypto talk from time to time.

I have been wondering about that too. If coinmarketcap or coingecko are able to distinguish fake from legit projects. I guess my first assumption is that since it is on their website then it must be legit right? But then again, some legit projects get crappy as time passes and then people will no longer buy the coin until it closes. I think aside from researching we also need to check forums and give it time for us to read all the information here so at least we will be armed with the right information.
Even do they are listed in Coinmarketcap or Coingecko are some of them totally fake, Im always encountered that kind of project listed to encourage those investor willing to invest. But if there goal is to scam only I think many of us in here are suffer on that kind of project, So we need to have some careful and be not aggressive on when it comes to invest in a project that we do not know of what it is.

This is more reasons in which you should make a very good research about a project before investing in them, investing blindly on a project which claims to be successful and give you much profit is just like gambling because your investing based on luck, but if you always make researches, ask questions about the project in their official groups, check their back ups and hype there got. With a very good information acquired about a project you can easily conclude which project will turn out to be successful.

In now days too much Altcoin Project are Launching one by one and all of them claim that invest in his project because we will be successful in upcoming days but in the end they run away and make a scam. They don't woory about people fund and stole them.
So how we can trust on altcoin to give us profit after investment. Because most of them become Scam and Scam. All of them has one Aim how to stole too much fund .
So how we make altcoin investment safe ?
There's no way to make safe investments in altcoins, because even scam projects do look legit lately only to end up rug pulling, nothing is guaranteed when it comes down to investing in new altcoin projects, the best you can do is to make a good research and see if the project has any partnership with a legit existing crypto projects, that's one of the way I identify legit projects now, aside that it's best you invest in existing altcoins like bnb, eth, ada, etc.

If there are a lot of scams that arises now in this business type of industry, meaning there is money. so, all investment form here obviously has a lot of risk mate, however even there there is danger into our capital or money there is also a good in return if we know how to choose the right projects to put our money in it. That's why as an investors we need to be wise any cost, so that we could earn nice in the end.

Investing in those altcoins are just launching is alway risky, but some of them are also full of profitable, risk and reward always coexist, people brag their project is quite normal, but it dont means we believe it, anyway, buying new currency should have the consciousness that lose all of the money.
i don not have enouth guts, so i only just invest in those altcoins with high market value.
Yes, and you'll also look pretty awesome when you start being honest with everyone by saying you don't have the guts to buy new Altcoins, because avoiding new Altcoins isn't a bad job, because it's still better to keep the old Altcoins that already have a high value in the market instead of having to risk new altcoins.

Yes, in new altcoins there is a big advantage if in the future there is a pump, the profit is directly proportional to the risk it carries. It is safer to invest in coins that have shown their quality and are able to compete in the crypto market and even last for a long time.
Even then, if there is a pump, if in fact there is no pump at all, then it is clear that the loss will come to the buyer of the new Altcoin, because not everything can be good, especially since the concept does not have a different function from the old one.

I really do think altcoin has as much potential as bitcoin.  There are altcoin that have already proved their worth in the market and have consistently grow in development and in their ecosystem!  The best practice is to  invest in altcoin a percentage of your portfolio that will not harm your portfolio in case there is loss of value on your altcoin.  You will be able to stay above water when the worst hit happens or enjoy your profit if your selected altcoin becomes successful!

New projects are currently too risky, it's easy to make BSC-based tokens of course a scam, maybe they just waste $10k, but in a short time they can get $1 million, I recommend selectively choosing new projects.
True, it is also almost the same as in the past when many projects used the ETH platform to create tokens which ended up being a scam, because scammers at that time could print new tokens very easily, as is the case now in BSC.

Those times when ICO are mostly being created using ERC, there are lots of people also claimed being victimized by scammers.

You need to be more selective in participating with new projects, though there's also opportunities but try to weigh things out before you
go ahead and place your investment, there's no one to blame if you lose it because of those scam projects, nothing you can do to chased them so better to do your diligence doing your deeper research.
