I'm working on a football (soccer) betting site, and I'd like to know if it is worth the effort to add the feature to allow no-registration bets. Has it ever been a deciding factor when you pick a site to bet on?

Even if the majority of the people do not want this feature, there will always some people that want to see this feature, it's still an added attraction, the more feature a gaming site is, the more attractive it will become even if they are not going to use it.

Most of the answers stating that ANONYMITY is very important. Yes it is indeed important and it could be done of course even with a user that has undergone KYC for that gambling site. What I am saying is that KYC is important also and when. one bet it is not necessary to showcase the real name for it will influence decision making knowing that someone might be able to know you personally that can disclose some important details during thr betting.

Of course, while i'm gambling i feel nerveous because of legal reasons. I don't want to share my information with other people, that's why i don't want to do KYC and i use Tor Browser but non-regulated betting sites are not trustable enough. It is a risk.

The two choices on the poll (Critical and Important)  looks very similar, anyways i've picked important because I always look for gambling sites that don't have KYC. And if they have KYC it's not required for all gamblers they only do it on certain situations like for example if the terms or rules that was agreed on after registration have been violated by a user.

Of course, many gamblers want to gamble simply and are certainly anonymous, especialy for me. eliminating the sign up feature or no regristration bet will make many players interested. Before this, directbet also has the same system and they have many gamblers and customers and make them no 1 sport betting in crypto #imo

Definitely important since we are in crypto world and the first main reason why we are here is for our privacy things that cannot be earned in real life betting

So I guess my answer is clear that you must consider giving the prospective players or bettors the opportunity of hiding their personality so any problems may not occurs

Look at those sites that has a motive of scamming when they don’t tell people about KyC needed until the players won big amount then upon withdrawal they will find KYC is a must rule.

Be truthful on what you are planning if you really want to gain many subscribers and the business may last longer
I've seen this before. Everything is easy until you try to withdraw your winnings, then they throw up all sorts of KYC roadblocks just to keep your winnings. I'm definitely steering away from that.

Probably the main purpose of a gambler (gambling on any sites) is because it is anonymous and much more convenient. Therefore as long as you can keep the amount safe and traceable for future purposes then it is really a good idea to put that certain features.
Yups anonymity is what people from this community love why they choose to play online and with crypto

By giving that option you can get more potential users (1. Those who prefer registrations and those who don't).
Indeed as like me I want privacy.and I know most of us do the same when choosing sites to play on

I think if you want to be a serious sports bet provider, you should aim to be regulated, and it means that KYC/AML is inevitable. Of course, bettors want to be anonymous (including me) to get rid of the hassle when withdrawing money.

Other than abuse as mentioned by @Pmalek, anonymous casino prone to the government takedown, licensing, and other trust problems.
Exactly. The first things that the governments and different agencies will try to control are the services offering anonymous transactions of any kind. In the long run I don't think it will work, doesn't matter if it is for betting, crypto exchanges or mixing services for example. Everything that is anonymous is an enemy of the state. A good example is the mixing service that got raided a few weeks ago.

What ordinary gamblers like me search for is more simple approach, without much bothering with credit cards, to complicated registration, bothering with deposits, even more with withdrawing. This days I`m playing poker for trons and I like it, simple, log in with wallet, no bothering at all, couple seconds deposits, same for withdrawing.
I`m not a person that hides things, or have a need for that. I like to be simple and easy.

Anonymous betting will attract gamblers that always want to hide they identity. Since it will attract so many people you may be unlucky and get evil people into you gambling site. They might hack your sites and some of them may play and win and used the money for evil or terrorism.
If this can happen the they need to improve the security of the system and if there is registration needed still people can do the same thing by using fake details so it is not a issue related with registration process.

Based on the voting including my vote it's good and preferable to have this kind of feature, although there are advantages if there's a registration this is to address issues that bettors will face when a problem occurs, some bettors are comfortable being an anonymous bettor.

Its rare to have a problems when you are playing on a really good gambling site but if ever there is a problem , you can still contact their support and you will still be given an i.d whenever you play anonymously , that i.d will be used when you have issues on the site  .  all of the gambling site that i visited nowadays are all have an anonymous feature  .  that saves hassel from regristration aside from anonimity  .

Yes, of course, that will give an easier way to the gambler to place the bets without registering themselves into the gambling site. They only need to use their wallet as the ID on the site and besides that, the site can directly to send the win money if somehow, that gamblers can win the game.

I think that will attract more player to use that site because they can gamble with anonymous and I am sure that they will like to stay on that site. They don't have to think about KYC or using their email to register in that site, and they can play without anybody knows who are they and the best is, they can stay behind the wall.

From the user's point of view, anonymous betting is a desirable feature because we can make bets secretly. If it's available like what has been done with Directbet in the past, surely sites with such features can get a lot of attention from sports bettors. But, trust is the first thing that must be built.

Voted critical. I prefer privacy. I used to bet using direct bet years ago, what I liked about it most was anonymous betting.

I want that.

I want to gamble, I am not a good gambler nor an addicted gambler, I just want to have fun, have some bets, you know? And being anonymous is a great way to help someone like me that wants to gamble without any sign-ups would be great.

Most gamblers of course want to remain anonymous for various reasons, it's just that with no verification the business can be used for shady transactions and the government can just shut it down anyway.

It opens up room for abuse. If there is no type of regulation or KYC what would prevent a football team from a lower division to bet on their own match and earn money from their loss? If the site offers anonymous betting there is no way of knowing who made the bets without following the money trail.

This is a valid concern. Even with email verification, they can simply get someone to use multiple accounts to bet. I mean, we've seen Like farms before.
