It depends on what currency you buy. If the altcoin market sentiment is not important, you can buy it at a low price in a bear market, and wait until the bull market is a good time to harvest, but you have to make sure you can hold it.
In fact, for good projects, the bear market opportunity is better, because only bear market users can truly learn with peace of mind and improve themselves,At this time, everyone does not have such a big utilitarian heart, and is more likely to sink their hearts to understand the essence of a project.

For me, that is how it's supposed to be.
If by any chance you pull some courage to purchase then do so. There are investors who now regret they didn't buy at this stage or the other timelines where Bitcoin was cheap. I won't be a hypocrite because I am part of that regretful people.

But none of them is actually important. The most important thing is you making the decision when to invest. Doesn't matter if it is a bear or the bull market, if you have money lying around and you can afford to invest (and lose everything), then just go ahead, invest and hold.

yes, it is. but sometimes I often see people who buy during the bull market even though it is very risky, but during the bear market they are even afraid to buy, but uniquely I have also experienced something like that. and I feel like I want to laugh at my behavior in the past. because in the past I was always afraid to buy when the market was bear. for fear the price will fall further down. when in fact a bear market is a golden opportunity to buy.
Generally both markets are equally important but I also prefer a bear market because in a bear market I can buy a lot of bitcoins or potential coins cheaply. In addition, the bear market is extremely necessary, it will help us remove garbage projects, useless projects from the market, the market needs to be cleaned regularly. Hello bitcointalkers, I was wondering that When Bitcoin Evolved almost in 2009 when it was in cents and still it is only 13 years old, not even even adult if we compare it to the Human life etc. I know it sounds funny.
Also if we compare this to the Stock market, If I am gone wrong that might be at least 400 to 500 years old and still Woprd economy is around us..
So my point was that Bitcoin is evolving day by day with many bull and bear seasons, I want to say that Bitcoin first Bull market was almost in 2013 when it touched only 100 dollars and that was just big milestone and now Bitcoin is trading per second in only 100 dollars and that is just timing things.
So I am going to my main point and that is Bitcoin hit almost 70k dollars and that was just big and bigger milestone and currently it is just trading above 18k dollars. And in my opinion that is currently going in Bear Market. And that bear market will turn till Next halving and that might be in 2024 as per block data. So I was wondering that wether this bear market will be helpful for new people or not. Cause many people thoughts are different than old people in crypto. So I am preparing myself in Bear market so that I might be able to stand in next bull run that might be the biggest bull run for Bitcoin and that might be just all time high to almost 200k dollars as compared to 2021 Data.

Simply put, the bear market is as important as the bull market. Without the bear, then cryptocurrency will be totally out of control. So, in a way, the bear market allows some level of calmness.
Well to me, bear market is as important as the bull market. Because we need some correction of price, structures, some solid supports. Imagine if all we have is a bull market. Everyone would want to hop into it. But the bear market teaches patience, Trust,learning from mistakes and a whole lot. So Bear market is as Important as Bull market

Just imagine a bear season as a planting season and a season for the cryptocurrencies to be tested if they are truly worth it or not, while the bull season as season to harvest what we sow. Aside from that, there are also some investors who still accumulate coins in the height of bullish season because they believe that they are still buying those specific coins at a much cheaper price as they envisioned that it will be much more expensive in the future.

Yes, the bear market is also important. The environment free from bull market speculation encourages genuine innovation. It also suggests that most of people as well as VC investors conduct due diligence more thoroughly, and that's why we need to have more razor-sharp eyes because the bear market is when real innovation occurs and cult projects are built.

Bear market gives way to invest good on the trusted assets that is predicted to give assured return when the market turns bullish. At the same time we should have the learning to predict the market transition only then we were able to invest in the right way.
