I find it a little bit funny that many people in the cryptocurrency market are focused on two things: the bears and the bulls. Now, if we can concentrate more on adoption of Bitcoin in particular and cryptocurrency in general then things will eventually be good for all. as far as the bears and the bulls are concerned, they are more in speculative in nature and while I see nothing wrong with them as they are hallmarks of a open trading market...Bitcoin is certainly more than those. And right now, there are many more issues surrounding Bitcoin aside from them.

It is impossible to say which is more important than the other, but both are necessary to establish financial markets. It takes a bear market to prove projects, what is real and what is a scam, scam projects die as soon as the bear market lasts. For investors, the bear market is an opportunity to buy good coins at a high discount.

And once the bull market comes, there will be opportunities for real projects to develop and attract more investors. And for investors like us, the bull market is the time when we reap the fruits of our accumulation during bear season.

Bear Market and Bull Market are important in their own ways and depending on the investor themselves.

For me, bull market is a time to sell and bear market is a time to accumulate. The problem is there are some investors who are doing the opposite. Investors are investing in a bull market because they are afraid not to ride on a train where all of the coins are pumping like crazy. On the other hand, investors are selling at a bear market because the afraid they might incur more losses that's why they will sell even at a loss.

Just remember, don't do what most of the people are doing. Another one is bear market is a time to accumulate and bull market is a time to sell.

Both conditions will always occur in the Bitcoin market and advantage can be taken if we understand how it works, bullish it's time to sell and bearish it's time to buy and collect more.
We can't just focus on bulls or vice versa so all conditions must be learned so that no opportunity is wasted when any condition occurs.

just remember

buy the bear
    sell the bull

buy low
   sell high

buy the dip
   sell the hype

then when those thought stay in your mind. then work out the lows and the highs.
its not difficult
Those are easy logics to remember but when someone's in a tough situation whether he's going to sell or not, he's choosing not to sell because of the thought that the price might go higher.
No matter how we memorize those logic the thing is, we all will face different situations and circumstances when we're about to sell or buy. Sometimes when you're determined to do both of it, something happens that requires you to delay the decision or stops you from doing so.

Both have a good role and function for us if we do it at the right time because we can only take advantage of bulls and bears to take advantage.
Investing is about taking advantage of fear and greed, and we like to buy when there is fear. In other words, when the market is down, we love being buyers.
and when the market goes up we love to be sellers, the main thing to understand in investing is that we move almost exactly the opposite of how most people move in the market.

markets are somewhat part of the natural economic flow of things. If you take a long-term historical look
l realize that bull and bear markets are an unavoidable part of how

the stock market operates.

from 1957 to 2018, there were ten bull markets and ten bear markets. During that period,
the average bull market lasted 55 months and gained over 150%, and the average bear market lasted just under a year and lost around 34%.
The takeaway here is that major market drops tend to happen quickly and their dips pale in comparison to the steady march of economic growth and the longer bull markets that accompany it.

That's why we here, at The Motley Fool,

take a long-term view and generally advise folks to keep money in the market unless they'll immediately need it in the next couple of years because timing buys and sells around market tops and bottoms is incredibly tough to do.

Both are equally important. It's just a matter of perspective that their importance probably varies. For somebody who really wants to buy more and wants to make the most of his limited funds, the bear market is more important than the bull market. The same goes for somebody who is waiting for cheap prices in order to buy his first Bitcoin. But for somebody who has already enough Bitcoin and wishes to build a project, say, a house for his family, the bull market is more important.

So to buyers, the bear market is more important. To sellers, the bull market is more important.

The importance provided to the bull market should also be given to the bear market. If the market doesn't have bear market, then we miss the opportunity to buy and experience the profit. No investment will have bull market alone and if you find something likewise, then it is complete manipulation and get out of such investment at the earliest.

The behaviour of creating a thread and leaving it by newbies is not a new one and I am not offended by it. It is not done purposely most times. I have been a newbie and it also happened to me. During my newbie days, when I drop a post and replies start coming, I would be reading all, but trying to reply all at same time was a big problem to me. Before I will know, the thread is already in the 3rd page and I will feel like keeping mute was the best thing to do. It continued that way till I learnt how to multi-quote.

Op, you have to advice yourself here. The question is, do you truly believe that bitcoin will make a new ATH or has the tendency to rise again? If yes, buy bitcoin but if no, save your money.

Bear markets are important because they flush out those that are overleveraged and trying to get rich quick.  In Bitcoin, this happens quickly.  Bull markets tend to be inflated as people leverage up and take on more risk, thinking the market will go up forever.  Banks do this constantly, knowing that when it goes bad they'll get a government bailout.  This is actually what we're seeing now in the global finance world.  It's a major problem and it will only continue to get worse so long as the Fed thinks they can control interest rates.  The funny thing is that everyone knows the Fed does the wrong thing to enrich their friends and squash competition for their investments, but almost nobody talks about it or is willing to do anything.

Neither market sentiment is more important. Both are good opportunities for you though. You can buy cheap coins in a bear market & you can take profits in a bull market. We still have 4 year cycles in bitcoin now so you will have to be patient.

It’s impossible to time the exact bottom & exact top but anybody can tell when sentiment changes. Buy when low, sell when high. It doesn’t take a genius.
Yes, both market conditions are very important in the crypto market. You can’t be profitable when there is bullish season if you never start buying and storing your coins during the bear market so both bring opportunities to be profitable in the market. Otherwise, if you are just eager for the bullish season to come without good preparation in the bear season and without high patience, you will never be successful in your investments.

So I was wondering that wether this bear market will be helpful for new people or not

If you're interested to have a good start with bitcoin then this current period is a good and advisable period to set in, buy the dip, hodl and sell when high, though you may need a little time to get this realised because the season is currently on dip and you meed enough patience to hodl enough to over one year advisably just in other to be close to a new ATH.

So I am preparing myself in Bear market so that I might be able to stand in next bull run that might be the biggest bull run for Bitcoin and that might be just all time high to almost 200k dollars as compared to 2021 Data

My advice for you is to ensure that you make use of the fund you could allow to spare sometimes and maybe you get another little fragments for frequent spendings on expenses, ensure you're decentralized also with your wallet used for security and privacy

Contrary to what a lot of people think or expect, Bitcoins market value cannot keep
Increasing, there has to be "corrections".

The Bull and Bear markets are like Yin and Yang.

As mentioned above Bear markets are an opportune time to buy discounted Bitcoin, Bull
markets offer a chance to take profits, or spend Bitcoin.

The bear and the bull season are equally important and very helpful on investment and trading strategies or evaluation. At times everyone gets bad results every season. Especially newcomers, their questions are almost like "why bear season?".People may try to avoid or get out of a bear market, but that must be in place so as not to create a market bubble, an opportunity for newcomers to enter, sessions where you may need a lot of rest from the monitor screen.

If a newbie enters now and sees the BTC chart he will see that it has already been worth 70k and he will most certainly be scared. But in all this ups and downs, only the price has changed.

The fundamentals remain the same, the innovation behind it is the same, nothing has changed. Unfortunately the bear market is bad for newcomers to enter, but it is good for veterans to accumulate, as they know exactly this idea I said.

imagine there are 2 numbers to think about.. the market price that wiggles up and down.. which is speculation.. think of that as the ocean tide that has waves that go up and down

then imagine another metric of "value". this is the 'base sea level' which slowly over years goes up as more water stays in the oceans, and raises the base sea level slowly over the years

in 2010 the cheapest cost to get bitcoin on the entire planet(the base value) started at ~ $0.10 where it was CPU mining

in 2011 the cheapest cost to get bitcoin on the entire planet(the base value) started at ~ $0.20 where it was still CPU mining but more got involved..
then came GPU mining which was more efficient so it caused the difficulty to jump.. it also triggered the volatility of speculations.
the base value raised to about $2. but the speculation wave(tsunami) caused a $30.00 speculative price wave.
every ATH tsunami is a temporary event that causes the sea level to adjust and settle at a new level.. dont ever think of ATH tsunami waves as value or an amount the sea level should stay at, at that time..

so the CPU-GPU change sparked a movement of 100x price and a 8x base value change. so the price settled down nearer to the new value line again

the price in 2012 moved to $6 before the halving and $15 after the halving, where the base value beneath also raise, but not as much

but general sentiment of speculation pushed the price upto $100 due to media news about bitcoin. but the base value was ~$X0

in 2013 with more GPU mining brought the value up to $X0 and the price over $100..
then ASIC mining took over from GPU mining. causing the the base value to move to a couple hundred, but the speculative price moved to $1200 before settling down again

the base value moved slowly for a few years. as did the price.
where the 2016 halving moved the price form an average of $450 to $900.
then new gen asics which were more efficient cause and the development politics of an upgrade causing a win for big corporations wanting a feature, caused a speculative 2017 ATH

all im saying is
if you follow the history of big events/changes to bitcoin. and also calculated the most efficient mining costs on the planet

you can work out where the base sea level is.. and also calculate the most reasonable expensive mining costs on the planet you can work out the top limit of where the next ATH can possibly peak out at

in 2021 $70k was the top limit. there was no real chance of a $100k-$500k btc in 2021. because if everyone on the planet can mine for less.. why would they buy
but the base value waterline is no $0. its about $15k this year.

so by working out these things you can work out if your buying at a time of great value. or at a large premium of speculated large wave action

buying while cheap is always great time.. compared to this years $15k-$95k window of which the speculative wave action could have the price move within. you buying near to the base waterline amount is a great buy. dont expect $200k this year. the max is still only a bit under $100k but if you follow the history of the cycles of halving events and mining costs evolutions. you will see the potential future prices and value will be higher than previous years

Not sure exactly what you are getting at, but I think of it in long terms, don't worry about the short term markets. Take a look at what bitcoin is, and how it is evolving, and make your decision on whether or not you want to own some. For me, yes I like it in general, and I think it is worth having some, especially in light of how money in general is printed and invented out of thin air. And yes the merit system is weird, but unless you are doing sig campaigns, it doesn't really matter that much, so just post and have conversations, and hopefully you will eventually get some merits. But begging for some, even if you pretend you are not, isn't really a good look, and probably won't get you any merits.
