Both period comes with different benefits depending on how you are able to take advantage of each period. Bear period brings opportunity to buy btc and some top alts at cheap price while bull period gives an equal opportunity to sell at a peak. So to me, no period is better than the other. They compliment each other.

many famous people predicted $100k in 2021 last year, but we didn't really go to that price and you believe that 2024 bitcoin price will touch $200k, that sounds like a joke to me, I'm not sure we will cross $100k in the year 2024 because in that year bitcoin will halving reducing block rewards, even though it has been predicted a lot but I'm still not sure we will be able to pass $100k, if asked at this time the bear market attracts new people or not the answer is yes, because people will take more cheap bitcoin for their long term investment, buying bitcoin at this time is a good way to recover the market

The both markets are important. In the bear Market you buy bitcoin has a lower price or rate while in the bull market you sell what you have bought from low in bear market with a high price or rate. Therefore, no one is bad but both are good. But some bitcoiners cry in the bear Market mostly the beginners. If it is only on bull market, those who has small amount of funds can invest in the market so this bear period is for those who has little to enter the market.  The movement of the market is also seen in the forex trading as well.

The prediction of bitcoin to climb up to 70k in 2024 is something I can not tell. Some predict 400k in 2030. We all pray that it should go up very well so that people who have bought a large quantities will sell in the time of high price.

The bear and bull both hold relevance and are important to the market. The bear market creates opportunities for new investors to enter the market while without the expectation of the bull, investors will never take advantage of the bear market. So they are both important to the relevance of one to another and to the market. A market that is only in the bull will not permit opportunities for investors to get into the market, and a market that is only bearish will not encourage new investors to join.

And in my opinion that is currently going in Bear Market. And that bear market will turn till Next halving and that might be in 2024 as per block data. So I was wondering that wether this bear market will be helpful for new people or not.
The bear market is always there. It's like a part of every cycle. Not always we go UP only. Not always we go DOWN only.
Even on non-crypto markets, there are different markets; bull market and bear market.
Bear market for me is important because that's the time the correction happened, and another thing is a lot of projects in cryptocurrency will be indetified during bear markets or their own quality, if they are legit or not or they are well established project.

bear market is not profitable, especially for people who buy crypto/bitcoin at high prices,
because they are afraid of losing.

but a bear market can also be an opportunity for someone who wants to buy or invest in crypto/bitcoin,
because buying or investing when the market is down is very likely to go up,

So in conclusion, the bear market can be profitable or detrimental,

as needed, if you want to invest when the bearish / market goes down, this is the right thing, in the sense that you also have to look at the crypto first, but if it's bitcoin, don't be afraid because the bitcoin market is the most stable,
but if it's another crypto, you have to be really careful,
because other crypto markets are not as stable as bitcoin.

but if you buy or invest and the market goes down, all you have to do is,
hold your crypto, don't sell it yet.

How on earth you can thought bear market is important? No one want Bitcoin price always decrease since most people buy Bitcoin to get profit by holding it. Only few groups are want Bitcoin price suffering bear market, it's government, country who ban Bitcoin, groups that say Bitcoin is haram, etc. If Bitcoin price always keep rising everyday, no one will afraid to buy Bitcoin and everyone will thank to Bitcoin since their investment always 100% successful.
I think bear season can be considered important if we can take advantage of it, thus getting a low price. that way later it will be easier to make a profit if you make a purchase at a lower price. The most important thing is that we must be calm in dealing with market fluctuations and be able to take opportunities when bear season occurs, and can also take opportunities when the bullish season comes

Definitely depends on your perspective as an investor; some are more excited with bearish market while some are looking more on the opposite end. It is quite a matter of choosing your own poison given that there's no assurance of profit eitherway, that will solely depend on your analysis of the market.

I do get your point, but as you've mentioned, some investor are holding and that is on purpose, especially during bearish season. They are willing to wait for that pump to harvest their profit. Most likely, they are 'bigger' investors who can afford seeing a red portfolio.

Both bear and bull seasons are very important for the growth and sustainance of this asset called bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies in general.
Bear season is the time to build, and for the investors, it is the time to invest.
Bear season, though it is the best time for newbie investors to invest in bitcoin, but we discover this is not the case unfortunately, bull season is the time when most newbies join the cryptocurrency train and invest in bitcoin, this is because, as the price of bitcoin is skyrocketing, alot of people are talking about it, telling friends and family members, including those that have never invested in crypto before, this motivates them to want to seize the opportunity to make some money for themselves, so they end up FOMOing into buying bitcoin, some of this new comers get lucky and sell in profit before the bears hit, while the not so unlucky ones holds until the bear season meets their bitcoin investment, and that is when we begin seeing posts like "when will bitcoin go up again", "when will bitcoin reach its all time high again?", or " when will bitcoin hit a new all time high?" - and some of this newbies even end up selling at a loss, but the good news is that, at this stage, they've gathered some knowledge about bitcoin and crypto currencies in general and have become an active member of the crypto space.

Looking for gigs
Both bear and bull market are great opportunities in the space. We just have to change our perspective. Most people think that bear market is always in the losing end, but some of us are seeing it as an opportunity. I mean there are many opportunities out there if you know how to find it despite the bear market conditions.

I see that there are some who are making money in the bear market by shorting it on futures trading, finding great gigs as KOLs, ambassadors, influencers, etc., and so much more. In the world of Bitcoin and crypto, there are always opportunities within the opportunity.

You pretty much have to have both bear and bull market on an asset, that's just how it works so I don't think one can be more or less important than the other. Of course, you want the market to be bullish on the long run if you want to make profit, but the bear has to be there and it is a good chance to invest when it is, as most people do - buy low and sell high. Don't split it into two categories, it's better to look at the market as a whole with different opportunities.

Both are very important even though the bear market and bull market, have very contradictory differences between the two, at least we can all learn the differences in these differences, so that's why many people today, learn to analyze from these two markets, then from the current conditions. we are currently experiencing, in recent months many people are more careful in trading and investing..

Bear Market and Bull Market are important in their own ways and depending on the investor themselves.

For me, bull market is a time to sell and bear market is a time to accumulate. The problem is there are some investors who are doing the opposite. Investors are investing in a bull market because they are afraid not to ride on a train where all of the coins are pumping like crazy. On the other hand, investors are selling at a bear market because the afraid they might incur more losses that's why they will sell even at a loss.

Just remember, don't do what most of the people are doing. Another one is bear market is a time to accumulate and bull market is a time to sell.

not everyone does, those who are selling during bear season and buying back during bull season are mostly newbies. they are people who have no knowledge, have not experienced the ups and downs of the market, but refuse to learn and listen to anyone's advice

people who have gone through bear seasons before are just like you, they are trying to accumulate bitcoins daily, every time the price drops they keep buying and buying

I find it a little bit funny that many people in the cryptocurrency market are focused on two things: the bears and the bulls. Now, if we can concentrate more on adoption of Bitcoin in particular and cryptocurrency in general then things will eventually be good for all. as far as the bears and the bulls are concerned, they are more in speculative in nature and while I see nothing wrong with them as they are hallmarks of a open trading market...Bitcoin is certainly more than those. And right now, there are many more issues surrounding Bitcoin aside from them.

everyone considers bitcoin to be a lucrative investment market so there is nothing left to discuss but price speculation. if you are not among them, you are one of the few, very rare

I think both seasons (or cycles) are important for coin or asset. When Bitcoin develops its past through bull and bear markets following each other, and that "past" guides us into future. OP is right about one thing and that is Bitcoin is still a kid. That's why it's very very speculative in both negative and positive directions. Be aware that Bitcoiners are lucky kind of group in world observing birth of new thing.

Of course, bear market is more important than bull market because bear market is the best time to invest. In bear market all tokens have low price so everyone can buy tokens at low price and sell those tokens at 2x, 3x profit during bull market. So I think. Bear markets are more important than bull markets for investors.

Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
Both are important scenarios for everyone especially in the bull market because right now, most of the holders are waiting for it to happen because some of them might have bought some bitcoins when its price was over $30k and they wanted to at least wait for that price to hold it back or to hold it to wait for a good price when it increased more. Most likely everyone has already bought some bitcoins and they only waiting for a bull run to happen in the upcoming months to decide what they will gonna do about it.

Many are now waiting for the bull market, but it cannot be ruled out that the fall may continue. And how then will those who bought at 30k feel if the price falls by 15k or 10k? I suppose that some of them will sell to save at least some of their money. This is how cycles work, only those who truly believe in bitcoin survive, those who can wait and survive the winter. You need to buy not for the entire deposit at once, but in parts, so that there is always a reserve that will allow you to buy more on falls.

Actually, in this bear market situation, there are also many advantages for beginners and seniors who have been in crypto for a long time, because then everyone new or old can buy cheaply, according to what they want to buy there. Indeed, in the crypto world there is always an opportunity for those who just want to intend to buy crypto at a low price and now is their opportunity to learn and understand the current market situation.

I don't request loans~
If by "new people" you mean new investors then yes, bear markets would generally be more helpful since if we consider how Bitcoin has behaved in the long term, then times like these would be the perfect moments for them to enter the market and start hodling. If the bull market though, then I would suggest to only invest a part, or not at all since you might just get swept by the hype (which is what happens most of the time to newbie investors).
I find it a little bit funny that many people in the cryptocurrency market are focused on two things: the bears and the bulls. Now, if we can concentrate more on adoption of Bitcoin in particular and cryptocurrency in general then things will eventually be good for all.
Nothing we can do about that, most people know or consider Bitcoin as an investment after all. Wouldn't blame them all, I started Bitcoin taking it as an investment opportunity as well anyway.
