no one said that there is a perfect system when you can not get scammed at 100% each time, but having escrow is better than having nothing

trust me without escrow you will get scammed 90% of the time, probably 99%...

Where is the trust when escrow scams? And, AND! What kind of temptation does this bring onto "trusted" escrow services?

you seems to have not grasp what i've said, without escrow it would be far worse, escrow simply limit the scam do not prevent it at 100%

if paypal fail one day due to bankrupt you would end with the same situation, all your money will be lost

You are wrong. If you use an esrow with bitcoins then you have to trust both the the other part and the escrow. Paypal is still the best. In the future this can change but for now paypal is better.

My favourite method is paypal, Just because we have buyer protection.
Seeing so many scammers online paypal is my favourite one.

I use paypal only if bitcoin is not accepted (in a lot of shop ;(). But i see more shops accepting bitcoin now so there is hope, potential and future growth.

I guess there will always 2/3 camps. But you are right, since bitcoin is the future and paypal has already an establed merchant directory, the choice is very hard.
In terms of potential bitcoin is the winner offcourse.

With paypal the paypal employees are you rescrow, which is comforting when you are doing nothing illegal.

However having a third party escrow would be better, since you have a real objective party. F.e. if there is a grey area in your dispute, paypal will not choose the party with the minor transactions as a winner.

That's seriously shame of that guy...
Never ever thought Master-P would do such things, people do anything for money nowadays, which is why some users start to hating this "newly invented currency" and get out of it...
This is why we don't have a better user base right now, we need to eradicate this out in order to let the things go smoother...

It's damn nuts. I've been scammed twice, well one I cannot prove if it was intentionally done to the items I sent off to keep, send back, or w/e the case was, it's in my post history. The other was over 2 btc when price was like 200USD, some stock shares. I feel for the victims, like if it hasn't happened to you yet, how do you know how it feels? It sucks, but you let go of it. It's a pity.
