Bitcoin's popularity and demand mainly came from the various news articles which really helped the public to be integrated in cryptocurrency. There is the bad news coming in the chinese investor, the hacking issues. Many people invested in bitcoin and many of them are businessmen. I think by most metrics bitcoin is continuing to rise in popularity both among computer scientist types and mainstream. It attracts more investors this time.

I dont think so dude, because bitcoins in the world divides people. There are many controversial opinions about digital currencies but the supporters, enthusiasts and investors encourage people to invest in the cryptocurrencies but on the other hand, there are also numerous opposers in some country that forbade bitcoin trade that's why bitcoin don't lose its popularity.
