Well we hope that bitcoin is secured because some of hacker right now even how secured is that if they want to hack they can hack but every problem have a possible solution. But i think bitcoin is really secured becauss many businessman, big time personel, celebrity and many others who investing a big amount of their money and no one complain about the security of their bitcoin so that our bitcoin was secured.

Bitcoin is very secure, if you take some precautions, even not 100%.
But a lot of people don't realize what easy target they are for hackers, so make a lot of stupid things, and they blame the system.
It seems that don't understand that bitcoin is money; in the same way you protect your money, you need to protect your bitcoin.
That's all.
Well i also believe that the bitcoin is really secure becuase bitcoin still here and it is really getting more popular  because of uts amazing features i think if we put basis about the popularity and its capability  we can really say that this bitcoin is really secure because if it is not secure maybe bitcoin will not become popular and  maybe   no one will use ,invest and trade this kind of digital things.maybe people saw that bitcoin is really secure and trusted that is why it is now really getting more popular.

Yes bitcoin is really safe. It's been created for almost a decade now and it is still existing and the value is increasing. I also believe that it will continue to rise in the future so it is really safe. You just have to do is to secure your wallet so that no one can take it away from you.

Bitcoin is safe to invest, but what is safer is to use bitcoin wallet you owned, only use exchange wallet if you want to, well, exchange bitcoin to fiat, after using exchange service withdraw all funds the same day. Backup all information to retrieve access to your wallet in case you forget password or hacking.

I think it is not, many other people are here to hack. Like the wallets or users, sites, many other things, what do you think if the founder of bitcoin is a hacker? what would happen to us who are bitcoiner here?

I am also scared a bit by the information that regularly appears in web. I mean the article and news about people who hacked somebody’s wallets and stole Bitcoins. I use paper wallet for this reason.

Yes, bitcoin is as secure as it gets. Its been a system running for over 9 years straight with not 1-second downtime. The longer bitcoin is the more improbable its gets that a 51% attack will be performed. Basically, there is no financial system in the world that is secure as bitcoin.

I think that bitcoin is really a secure one. Hackers will have experienced difficulty to infiltrate this system. The creators of this forum is so organized that it can detect a spam or a farmer user.

Two different questions there, you have asset allocation and market risk.    People might also think you are asking about the integrity of the blockchain also.

This is why people are always comparing Bitcoin to gold because its value is not reliant on a central body, authority or company to continue in value.   It does rely on the market demand vs supply and also it requires people to take care of their own security.

Lodging your Bitcoin with a website means you have left the blockchain in effect, you have forfeit security in favour of trust of 1 website.    The protocol cannot be blamed if the user loses value from a website or personal failure.

So far as risk and asset allocation, then no you should not hold all value with Bitcoin.   Again this is not the fault of the protocol if people lean on one asset type to retain their wealth.    Its very often the case people should secure their own household living costs as far as possible to achieve proper security, very boring mortage type costs are far more secure then remote investment or reliance on crypto protocols.   The primary use of Bitcoin is to transport value imo so holding all value when you do not intend to transmit it seems wrong, the answer is you are over speculating if doing so.   Again the failure is personal judgement.

Actually in these moments btc is one of the safest virtual products, that is why it has lasted so many years at the forefront of the cryptocurrency market, but if we talk about financial security remember that this does not go hand in hand with any cryptocurrency, since in reality the profits are based on the fluctuation of the market, that is, there is no fixed gain

It is really secure because we are anonymous when we do a transaction in bitcoin because the network of bitcoin have some great encryption that cover our IP and make it as an untraceable transaction which is the best for making huge payments so they will not be able to locate you which make your bitcoin really secured.
What makes you so sure that you are totally anonymous when making a transaction? You know that blockchain is not totally anonymous, once they know your address they can trace your every transactions. The only thing that can compromised your Bitcoin if you got hacked, planted with virus(keylog), logging in into a phishing site. So you should do your thing in terms of security before any damage can cost you a lot.

Indeed bitcoin is more secure and we can say that by verifying previous history of bitcoin. As in previous history of bitcoin we have never get any bad news against security of bitcoin and other proof is that big investors are investing in bitcoin which can also proof that bitcoin is secure.

If we ourselves can be careful in every action will be safely controlled and most important to anticipate the incident one must be able to determine the wallet to be used to receive bitcoin later because now there is a mode of theft from various applications offered to someone to use it as a place of receiving income from playing bitcoin.
For now it depends. Even if you are careful on all of your action it doesnt mean that you are safe. Remember what happened in japan?. I think even now in digital money there is no security. $530 million worth of digital money was stolen by hackers in japan.

For me, I think yes Bitcoin is really secure due to the fact that it has been already known to be decentralized which makes us believe and trust Bitcoin about its security and safety that it can provide for its users and also the same thing applies for its investors. It is just normal that people tend not to put all their money to serve as an asset to grow in terms of Bitcoin because usually we are testing its capacity and capability to prove if that said provision was really true enough to be trusted. In terms of using Bitcoin, I bet it was secure enough to cover its wide range users.

Yes it's secure but human errors would play a lot in the hacking of coins. I have heard of somebody a friend of my brother-in-law who lost his money due to failure of safely trading his bitcoins. He gave his private key and it all went missing. Just like that if we are so careless in doing so, these hackers could just be stalking their prey anytime. So we should better be ready for anything. Get computers cleaned and remove viruses as it infects immediately.

Why so many threads created for the same related question? It will leads to spams.I suggest the OP to explore the forum first, then you can get clear idea about what is the bitcoin.

Bitcoin was invented to be used securely over the Internet without any third parties. So you bitcoins are very safe than the current fiat money. But you need to keep your wallets safe or else someone will steal your bitcoins using private keys or using passwords.
I do not think Bitcoin is safe because hackers are so active, you can see that more and more people are joining the Bitcoin community, and that makes hackers pay attention, I think not. There will be times when hackers can attack and steal their money

As far as the status of bitcoin, it is very secure ,it is at the top in terms of its value compare to other cryptocurrency, the only not secured is that your bitcoin accounts might be penetrated with scammers ,hackers or stealers.
I believe so.Bitcoin is the most secured investment when it comes to gaining profit, and it becomes more reliable because you are the sole controller of your own account.Whatever happens to your account is just the outcome of how you took care of it and  the rest of your assets. So keep an eye on your bitcoins and stay focus at all times.
