Everything gets old with the time and the thing which get old earlier than others is the technology because whenever we get the new technology, we always dump the older one. So is the case with the financial system. Firstly, there were gold, silver and stones and then there came a centralized monetary system for different pieces of the land and now it is the time of the bitcoin which has no boundary and is totally decentralized.

I think the whole technology is new and it will take some time for the people to adopt it. I'm sure we'll see some real world use of blockchain technology quite soon. It is getting popular day by day, But the problem in making it a central digital currency is that it is total anonymity. Any government would not want it's people to be anonymous while transacting. It is the future of money, but I don't think Bitcoins will become any country's official money.

I would not say that bitcoin will be the future of money. But im sure that some cryptocurrency will be. When you look today, so many people do not use fiat money anymore. Their using their credit cards. In many countrys, there are apps on mobile phones which you can use to pay. So its just a question of time when the fiat money will dissapear forever. When this happen, they need a decentralized payment method to grant the payment at any time.
