In my experience with other people, understanding bitcoin and how it works depends on the person's interest. I think below average people can still understand this technology if they are eager enough to try. If people have no interest then even how intelligent you are you wont understand how it works even if you will try. But if you are asking how difficult it is to understand the system then my answer is that average people can understand how bitcoin works.
It's too complicated if you study much deeper about. All the terminologies like sharding, BIP , and fork are all connected to programming which is not really suited for people like us that only knows how to click and type on the internet.

When I first found out about bitcoin it really hits my interest and we could use it without knowing how to mine it we just need to learn the basics on how to use it.

I don't think Bitcoin is complicated for anyone. Do we know all the metrics behind a paper note? do we know every tech used to mine an ounce of gold? - no, we don't, we just use them.

It is really complicated to the ordinary people who really do not have any knowledge in bitcoin or crypto currencies, why did I say so? It is because even me I experienced that, I find it hard to explain to my friends and my family on how cryptos really works and how they can be benefited with this.
Yes, it does make many people understand what it means.
I think the workings and systems on bitcoin are quite complicated but not too complicated and not difficult to learn by ordinary folks.
To the ordinary folks specially to the non-techie people, bitcoin seems too complicated for them. Even for me when I was just started, I was confused how to invest in it, how to create a wallet, what is a private key and a public key, but in time, you will understand and it is not that complicated at all. You should study more and get to know bitcoin so that you can utilized fully its good benefits.
Well as a currency it is far way complicated then fiat as it is so volatile so studying it is nearly impossible yet if you see it just as a long term asset it becomes so simply just put the money till the price goes up.

There is so much more in bitcoin than meets the eye. I consider myself to be among the ordinary folks but i strongly believe that a complicated thing such as bitcoin can be understand by us if only we do research about it. I agree sir, though I know a lot but I know also that I'm a glass of water that still needs to be filled. I am open for new knowledge and ready to learn a lot. For me, what I have right now is not enough, I have a lot to learn and I'm ready to explore and learn.

I'd say yes, we all been to ordinary folks and admit it or not, we had a hard time fully understanding the function of bitcoin and how or in what sense does it make people profitable. But now since we've been here for so long, we know exactly how to manage and how to control our bitcoin/s.
Anything a man develop interested and add determination will become simple, this two things simplify a complex situation. At my initial stage bitcoin was so complicated couple with the fact that I was computer illiterate but today I am teaching people.
if it's complicated it's definitely especially for people to be able to. but they want to learn and diligently read and always ask questions. no one can not be sure they will. the most important thing is never to give up and then give up.

Most people who invest in bitcoin don't know anything about bitcoin. People just know that bitcoin can make a profit, but bitcoin is our future.

The concept of digital currencies is complicated for most beginners in the cryptobusiness. Yeah Bitcoin is complicated for greeners and even much more complicated for memebers who are not even technologically inclined. I quite remember when i was introduced first time into cryptocurrency. There were a whole lot of questions on mind for instance how come there is a money so valuable like bitcoin yet we can not hold such a money but can be used to make transactions. What intrigued me the more is the use of ethereum wallet address. I got to know that, that is where we store cryptocurrencies. Another amazing feature about bitcoin that even blows your mind is a currency that we can not see yet cost huge sums of dollars. These are some of the reasons that makes bitcoin complicated and also not being able to be made as national currency for countries. But i believe strongly that with time and the necessary mechanisms bitcoin can be an accepted currency in the advance countries like China, USA etc.
Yes bitcoin is too complicated for ordinary folks, but if we can provide accurate explanations and include proof of income we have from bitcoin, then they will easily understand it, but in fact they are only interested in earned income and they have not fully understand the blockchain and how to obtain bitcoin. LOL. But if they have been affected by bad news about bitcoin, then surely we will argue. I have experienced it, I just laugh with the assumption and bad news about the bitcoin they say.
I as an ordinary folks who has absolutely no knowledge of bitcoin, feels the work of bitcoin is something foreign and unfamiliar. complicated at first, but all that I can handle it, provided there is a willingness to learn. Whatever the educational background of a person, all will be resolved when there is a will and strong intentions.
I believe that it depends upon the particular indivisual how he understand the concepts of bitcoin.For using bitcoin a person must know the basic computer knowledge.We are living in modern era and almost everyone knows how to use computer.Basic understanding like how to buy,at what time to buy and sell the coins these are very important.It is not complicated to understand .It requires just basic knowledge with intelligence.
