I'm not sure how much it is legit for US citizens, but I have heard many complaints for it. Anyway which service doesn't get neggative feedbacks? I guess you can use it for small transactions.

I think the coin crypto in coinmarketcap nice and safe in use to see the market, because this is not only in the US alone can be used, because in other parts of the world can come to use it.

For me, cryptopia is a very good and safe exchange and it is a legit one. Cryptopia is safe, reliable, fast and the transaction fee is cheap. I can trust the exchange because I have not had any problem trading on this exchange.

in my opinion, Cryptopia where good cryptocurrency trading. because, it is very important to make a trading business very useful for everyone. If you do, be careful. It's possible 0% of them have credentials you're asking about, though

In my humble opinion, Cryptopia is a B rated exchange and I say this because their support is non-existent. My account was hacked by someone on the same exchange. There is no way they could have hacked my password so I'm starting to wonder about the exchange and their ability to keep investments safe. Opened up a support ticket and it has been over 30 and I have not heard back from them. This is not the way to support your users. I strongly suggest you find a different exchange, one that cares about it's clients.

THERE IS NO ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBERS AND THEY NOTED THE TICKED MAY REPLY IN 20-30 BUSINESS DAYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, Cryptopia was founded by Adam Clark and Rob Dawson.
So if you want you can go to the web and look in the Christchurch, NZ phone directory for a phone number.
But I don't think they're going like you shouting at them on the phone when other people are waiting in line with their support tickets.

I've been used to use Cryptopia for months and I feel it's really good but not really secure cause your Cryptopia account can easily be hacked if your email also hacked that why I changed to use Binance cause it has better secure level than Cryptopia. Otherwise Binance exchange has mobile app so I can easily trade with my smartphone only.
Why would your email get hacked? Your email you should protect with all available measures. Secure password, never reuse a password, secure browser that you don't access shady websites on, secure computer or phone that you don't access shady websites on, don't click on shady links or downloads from your email, etc.  Personally I like not having to use google authenticator like binance and many of the other exchanges force you to. Fuck that. I have secure email, I don't need that shit. What a pain in the ass.

I've had web email for over 20 years and it has never gotten hacked. But watched plenty of other people (usually elderly) get their email hacked. I can only assume the fault was theirs.

I suppose trading from your phone might be convenient at times, if unwieldy, but sounds too risky if it is the same phone you get your 2fa from, or access random crypto-related websites from.

IT SEEMS IT'S DEAD. NO WITHDRAWAL AVAILABLE THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY !

Do you have any proof to prove that because many people are withdrawing and depositing their coin in cryptopia exchange without any problem? Why you people misleading the exchange with negative feedback to it. Better post your proof so that they will stay from these exchange.
I also have no problems with cryptopia except for the occasional delayed withdrawal or deposit. 90% of the time it is fine. You have to check the "Coininfo" on cryptopia and make sure the wallet is working well.  And if you're sending/receiving a shitcoin, well you should expect that there might be problems no matter what exchange you use.  I usually convert to a standard non-shit-coin like DOGE or LTC before withdrawing.  And never keep more money on cryptopia than you are prepared to lose.  They're operating a lot of shitcoin wallets, and if they don't review the open source code of each carefully, or worse, if they're being sloppy and installing binaries, their servers could quite easily be compromised.

Hi. I have been browsing coinmarketcap and see some good looking coins that are listed on Cryptopia. But, are they safe to use? I am in the United States and wonder if they follow all of the regulations and rules? Just wondering if anyone in the USA has any experience bitcoin trading on this exchanger? Thanks Smiley
The marketplace is not safe, and poorly managed. Sellers can place an ad where they show up as having a 5-gold-star trust rating, when they actually have 0 trust and 0 feedback. You have to click on the trust rating to see that. Marketplace full of scammers and links to scam websites.

Cryptopia is loaded with new coins. They will take almost any new coin and I think that doing so they get extra work to manage all those new small and larger coins.
Some coin devs are not so serious and hard to work with so wasting time with them is also inevitable. That is just my guessing. I did not have problems with them, but a lot of people are.

I haven't used cryptopia but it seems that many are complaining. And for those that are looking for a response from their CEO.

I found this out, read their CEO's response and I guess this is a legit one as other comments are seriously giving him suggestion on what to do.

Response from the Cryptopia CEO

Response from the Cryptopia CEO

Please firstly accept that we are not scammers. No one is going to take your coin or funds as long as we can keep the bad guys out and we are doing a huge amount of work to prevent any attacks.

The problem is worldwide in that all trading platforms are short staffed due to the massive growth in popularity of Cryptocurrency trading.  We are recruiting as fast as we can in all areas and of course, once recruitment is completed we then have to train people.  As you can imagine, we have to be very careful about who we recruit and how we get people trained.

One of my many jobs is to help solve these issues as fast as we can and being that I have just arrived I cannot make it happen today. Please hang in there with us as we do our very best to attend to all outstanding matters and keep you all informed.

Trying to contact me privately or via other social media or in some cases even though my family is pretty futile, we can’t solve technical issues and it won’t move you up the queue.

We’ve been working hard over the last few weeks to establish new working and highly functional processes which should start making things not only more efficient but more focused. We know that there’s been a level of frustration around a number of issues and I ask that you bear with us as we resolve problems as they occur.

One of the biggest areas of focus currently is improving our support service. We’re training new staff and hiring as fast as we can and in addition, improving the UI for better messaging and launching an external knowledge base that will better enable users to troubleshoot their own issues.

Some of the issues you face have not necessarily originated on our platform. Coins can have bugs of their own and poor support that simply gets handed on to us as we are the public-facing component of the process, we are the first and last link in the chain that affects you.  We are careful when listing to make sure we have done as much testing as possible.

You will see a regular post from me from here on in to keep you all as informed as I can. We are not going bust, we are not running away, yes we are struggling but we will be there and we will continue to improve. We also thank you for your support.

― Edwin Louis Cole once said>>>
“You don't drown by falling in the water; you drown by staying there.”

Alan Booth
CEO Cryptopia

He said that we will see a regular post from him, anyone seen him lately?

I also had never problems with deposits/withdrawals. But I always do a research on cryptocurrencies, I want to deposit/withdraw, if wallets need updates or how network is doing. The second aspect is, don't entrust all your funds to third party/only one exchanger.

Im using it before, made a withdrawal and it works fine. As long as they still processed withdrawals and deposits that exchange is ok for me, but hitbtc is the exchange I don't want to trade in.

Exactly, I am facing problems with Hitbtc compared to cryptopia because of Hitbtc is charging for deposits and this is the first time I am hearing they are charging for deposits. Even sometimes we are facing withdrawal issues and their support system are not accurate.
