Dogecoin's journey is still very long and remember Dogecoin's Holders have spread all over the world,
so Doge is not a coin that is only held by the developer but everyone holds this coin and makes Doge really very strong in terms of community and of course fundamental,
so who anyone who says that dogecoin is dead of course it is FUD.
I think that it is important to remember that dogecoin is still a very strong coin and has a very strong community. I think that it is also important to remember that dogecoin has a long journey ahead of it and that it is still growing and developing. I think that it is important to remember that dogecoin is not just a coin that is only held by the developer, but that everyone holds this coin and makes doge really very strong in terms of community and of course fundamental value. So, anyone who says that dogecoin is dead is obviously just trying to spread FUD.
A strong community is the key to Doge. The underline technology is far behind another blockchain such as INU, near, or SOLANA. But as it was created for a meme, being in the top 10 is an outstanding result. Doge in fact is still very good for gamblers who want to make a smaller bet. Moreover because it is a lightweight coins, making transactions are extremely fast

I'm of the opinion that dogecoin is still a good altcoin and it would be worth holding some, basically because of the fact that the market could be volatile and one could benefit from the possibility of a hype which is imminent since the Tesla boss still considers the coin a good deal.

I wouldn't say that DOGE is dead. Yeah, the price doesn't seem good, but it has a strong community and DOGE actually is a good coin with pretty low fees. I don't think it will reach $1 soon, or maybe ever, but does it need to?

Dogecoin is considered as a dump project in the market with Elon Musk as CEO of the project, he only pumped it with his tweets about the coin and some restaurants making it as means of payment interms of clearing or ordering food items from the store. It's beneficial for those that made gigantic profits from it when it made a massive bull run in 2021, when it hits it's all time high for a long time which is 0.73995 and eversince then, forming such long green candles is very rare because the project roadmaps depends entirely on the moderators who are not putting in their hard earn working tools together. Dogecoin is currently 0.08883 and it remain stagnant for months. Fear, Uncertainty and doubt have prevent others from investing in dogecoin.

I also don't think that is dead but Dogecoin has no real "technology" or "use case" behind it as its creator created it as a meme coin only.As far as I know this is still the case,I don't know this coin like Ethereum or some other ones to give a chance to programmers to come out with apps built on top of it and as such it is a dangerous coin to invest in.

However I am also one that I have invested my self in here and have Dogecoins and their related other crypto like Shiba Inu and I have only done so because this coin became well known from Elon Musk promotion that it creates a lot of hodlers for this coin and they still are holding,I hope it brings some good money for us but from a technology perspective this coin is worthless.

Current Dogecoin price $0.089 and stable around under $0,1 and seems not have enough reason to say about Dogecoin is dead, although reached higher price almost $1 I don't agree to say Dogecoin is dead because Dogecoin have cheapest price before hype and promote by Elon Musk.

We can't predicting about this person Elon Musk make hype with Dogecoin, some time when he make new tweet about Dogecoin will increase pump drastically and potential reach above $0,2 although few minutes later drop drastically. Still not dead with Dogecoin due still listing on bigger exchange market and have values above $0.089.

Absolutely.

Besides, miners need merged mining DOGE-LTC too much, we can't afford the death of Dogecoin Grin

Dogecoin Price Losing the Grip as Elon Musk May Not Remain Twitter CEO for Long!

The Dogecoin price has been trading below the crucial 200-day MA since the beginning of the yearly trade. Meanwhile, the buying volume has fallen heavily. Also Today Elon Musk expressed his willingness to step down as Twitter CEO. He conducted a poll on twitter platform.

The Dogecoin price seems incredibly bearish and if Elon Musk quits as the Twitter CEO, the token may be badly impacted. Earlier Coinpedia made dogecoin price prediction for the end of 2023, as $0.158. But with current news it wants us to rethink and ask – is doge coin dead?

How can you say like that? Haven't you noticed Dogecoin's daily trading volume? or have you never paid attention to the position of dogecoin in coinmarketcap?. in my opinion, doge will not die and will not disappear in the market as long as it is still in great demand and is supported by large investors who have their largest capital. what you say is not likely to happen
There are still a lot of Doge Holders, in fact I can confirm that almost everyone in the cryptocurrency community has Doge in every wallet,
because Doge is indeed one of the oldest altcoins in the world of cryptocurrencies,
if you say that doge is dead then you are really really still don't really understand how crypto currency works.

Don't forget you quote a 1 month old post. It could be true that the price or the volume have decline that time but now not anymore. You know, Elon is good at manipulation and whatever he said, we will then have an impact to the coin. Maybe Elon didn't quit twitter yet and its supporters are gaining a hope once again.

The trading volume and then the coin rankings on coinmarketcap are not fix but they can also change. Remember Luna? It was once a top coin in CMC so his trading volume is also large but look at it now. That can also happen to any other coin if ever their performance deteriorates but dogecoin isn't a loss to us if one day it fell down and die.

I think Doge is still strong right now because it can be seen from the daily transaction volume which can reach more than $650 million, many people hope that Doge and meme coins will die soon, but if we pay attention that the Doge community is very strong, there are at least 2 strong meme coins namely Shiba and Doge, Elon Musk's plan to accept Doge for advertising transactions on Twitter has made many speculate to buy and hold Doge because of the huge potential for growth in the future.

Dogecoin is the perhaps one of the most unique & captivating offering in crypto space. As of right now it’s hard to say for certain Wether or not dogecoin is dead. It is almost impossible to predict the future of crypto including doge. But, elon musk recently Said that he shall be working to make dogecoin is use in real world.

It has been considered a meme coin since it's inception, so there is nothing unique about it to be honest.

However, when we have individuals like Elon Musk pumping it, then it become one of the most valuable asset in the last couple of years and then investors jumping on the hype coin. Now for me, this is not a good coin to invest, in my opinion, it might not enjoy the support in the next bull run. Although it will still remain in the crypto space for the next coming years. So everything depends on how Elon Musk will market and used Dogecoin in the future. But for me, I'm done with it.

Doge is still in 9th place and daily trading volume is over $500 million, I put Doge as the 5th biggest asset because I believe that one day the price of Doge can reach $1, if this year there is a bull run I believe the price can increase more than 3x or 30 cents, don't hesitate to invest in Doge because I'm sure it still has good prospects in this year.

It will not be dead until Elon Musk lives. A good altcoin to take short time profit.  Cheesy
Elon Musk is currently using Dogecoin to maximize his own interests, but he also knows that Dogecoin is not a forever sustainable cryptocurrency. Earlier, several of his fans reminded him that the supply of Dogecoin is unlimited. Elon told them he knew this, but I don't think he gave a satisfactory answer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_U_dOOI9us). I think the possibility of Elon leaving Dogecoin one day is very high. I don't think we can trust him.
I think even he doesn't really like it that much anymore. I mean sure it looks like he is in support of it a bit, but comparing how much he liked it back during bull run compared to how much he likes it now, I do not think that he likes it that much anymore. This dude is famous for his narcissistic moves and he likes to be loved, that's his thing.

People loved him and adored him when the price was high, and he was happy about that, but when price couldn't hold and it dropped, everyone started to hate him for making them buy it, and he got away from it as much as possible. This is why I think he is not interested in doge anymore, probably further from it.

I don't think that dogecoin is dead. Do you think that dogecoin is dead after all those times where Elon Musk brought influence to those people who believe in dogecoin. Elon Musk does have influence to some people especially about dogecoin. As long as dogecoin have uses and also influence then dogecoin will stay the same as it is. I agree that some people are not influenced by Elon musk but we can't deny that there are some people who follow elon musk. It is also trend in this forum in my opinion as it is discussed many times.
Elon Musk always brings his own contribution to support crypto by providing information to his followers and to this day there are still many who believe in what is said even though not a few ignore it.
So as long as there are people who believe in what Elon Musk says, it seems that Doge will not be neglected, let alone die. true friend, it must be remembered that doge is also still very popular and still useful, because there are still many who make investments, it cannot be ignored because it is real.
the current situation alone is indeed not good, doges can't avoid it either, let's see later when the halving period is about to take place, surely doges will also be able to improve.

I think, those who are thinking doge is dead are the ones who jump on doge when its price was at its peak.
Because if let's say Musk will not promote doge anymore, it may just go back to where it was before.
I was enjoying very very cheap transfer fees when doge was not yet promoted by Musk.
I believe a lot of traders were using doge for transfer purposes before, but right now, there are cheaper alts for this purpose.
But it won't be dead, its price may go down but most trading platforms will still list it.

the most important thing is the trust that still exists and is still carried by doge to this day, as you can see as you also said that most platforms continue to include it in every trade, which indicates that doge is not dead and still exists.
indeed, in a situation like the current one, it seems that not only doge has experienced a decline, almost all crypto is indeed being badly affected.
we need to continue to monitor the situation this year where unexpected things can happen to coins that have a bad reputation, because 2023 is still considered a crisis period and crypto is not doing well either.

elon indeed has very impactful influence towards this coin, doesn't mean this coin couldn't be dead because of that, but considering the market capitalization of this coin and its trading volume, this coin would be the last to be dead, in short it would hardly be dead, even at the slightest of market recovery this coin could be scoring quite good increase, so I doubt in long term it's gonna be dead.
even if elon right now have less influence he's still could change the tide of this coin so I think he's still relevant until now.
It was, but for now, But now it seems that the expectations for Dogecoin are not too high. Because we know that Elon has made news several times regarding the possibility of Dogecoin increasing by providing positive news regarding the use case of Doge coin itself. But unfortunately, the impact has not been able to break the Dogecoin price again. Maybe one of the factors is that currently, it is still in a bearish period. We will probably know how the effect will be in the Bullish era, will it still be the same as last season's bullish era, or vice versa? But for sure, I'm not sure if Dogecoin is dead as the OP asked.
