Dogecoin will never die and will always be used as a low fee transaction.
I think Elon musk is just like an artist who is just a fan of Dogecoin and Elon musk bought twitter not for the sake of cryptocurrency but for freedom of speech and there are elements like politics.
so don't always think if a crypto price will go up and down it's only influenced by artists, that's not true for me.
and for me there is no connection between Elon musk, twitter and Dogecoin.
if Dogecoin in this year the price goes down, it's just like a cycle that is happening like bitcoin and other coins. Even if the price goes down, one day the price will go up again.

so don't believe too much in something that appears in the news from social media.

I think that Dogecoin will still be the "King of the meme coin" when Elon musk pump this last year and it might happen soon again if he tries to post it again when BTC pumps up for sure. And just like everyone says that it's best to hoard more Dogecoin while it is cheap and I would say that's the best plan right now as long as you really take the risk.

Dogecoin is not dead and still exists on many exchanges today. But unfortunately, the price has dropped even lower and the current price is a very low price you can accept. But if you want to buy Dogecoin at another lower price, you can still buy and you may miss the best time to buy Dogecoin. I still see support from the Dogecoin community and they are still waiting for the best moment for Dogecoin to increase again. And since the current market conditions are still declining and even bitcoin is also not moving very much, it makes a lot of coins and tokens that are in the market also experienced a lot of declines. But Dogecoin still has a chance to increase in the next altcoin season so you better be patient and not panic.

Since dogecoin team are still working seriously to ensure they make their customers feel good when others customers are happy in the community. Dogecoin is not dead and it will not going to die because, their teams are more capable to surprise those that concluded that the price will not pump higher base on  this bear season that is affecting the price of all coins in the market. I guess, next year will be the turn of dogecoin to pump in a way their customers will earn well from their investment.

as long as it's still having among the highest trading volume I doubt doge coin could be dead, even if it has lost so much of its trading volume surely in the future eventually it will have some kind of trends revolving around it again, the trend of meme coins always happening in every bullrun that it's not surprising to see some meme coins reaching multiple increase in value in every bullrun, but the question is, does this doge coin could hold up with the trend and the ever changing innovation of the coins, after all it seems doge coin is rather outdated in terms of technology.

The Dogecoin price seems incredibly bearish and if Elon Musk quits as the Twitter CEO, the token may be badly impacted.
Pretty sure the price was pumped because Elon just tweeted about Dogecoin and nothing more than that.
It doesn't matter if Elon wasn't the CEO of Twitter or even he would resign from Twitter. That doesn't affect anything at all, the hype is already gone long after the tweets from Elon Musk.

Earlier Coinpedia made dogecoin price prediction for the end of 2023, as $0.158. But with current news it wants us to rethink and ask – is doge coin dead?
Everyone are free to make prediction, but it doesn't guarantee the result.
Also it doesn't make dogecoin is dead, but surely you have to choose carefully if you want to invest on anything.

There is no hype and there is no push from the Influencers. This keeps the dogecoin market stable without much of bullish move. Expectations over dogecoin won't end with success all the time. Right now it is time to hold, if not the better option is to move the funds towards somthing on the top list to experience the return at the shortest as we're nearing the year end.
Having Dogecoin stayed for many years and also many negative discussions, I think they are already at success. Though I can't see how long this project will stay and be supported by the community, I know many people still use this coin for some reasons. It was not a reason because no Elon Musk it will die, it was not the reason we think it soon dies because of a declining value. It will just die if nobody will value this coin and all investors will dump together and reject it. Dogecoin is not literally a good choice of coin to hold but at least, it can be useful to some other ways.

I don't think DOGE is dead, but I don't see a big bright future for it either. It's Reddit community is still active, and the price is not going down too much. But I really doubt it will reach $1.
Dogecoin has a large community not just on Reddit and this is the reason why this coin won't die anytime soon even without Elon but Musk did a big thing to this coin before and that will always be remembered by the people. There are speculations before if Dogecoin's value will reach 1 dollar or not but that was the time when Dogecoin is still on hype.

Now, it's completely different. $1 isn't also the price the OP stated in his post but it was $0.158. Dogecoin's current value right now is $0.075. I think this wasn't too far from the said price earlier so I do believe that it will come back there especially if the crypto market as a whole return to normal.

I don't think people understand that the eme coin craze was just a fad, with doge being the leader.  There is literally no need for it in the market and the only people holding it up at this point is the bagholders that bought into the idea that doge will actually be worth something someday.

....But with current news it wants us to rethink and ask – is doge coin dead?
No doubt Elon help the coin become more popular to the mainstream but not enough to bring it down even if he decides to withdraw his support. Dogecoin survived the years when it has no real lead developer or no significant updates on the chain level and has nothing but a community. It remains a popular choice among users like gamblers who wants to transfer funds with cheaper fees that's why it's present in many casino deposit options.
Not I think it was easy for him to give up and leave Dogecoin because I see that he also gain benefits from this project. Perhaps, we can see huge support from the community bringing Dogecoin to survive in many market crashes. Though we know that Dogecoins is a meme coin but we can't deny that it has also been useful in other ways ( transaction fees). Many people had just missed it but for some people, this coin is valuable to them, and can't afford to lose it in their hands.

Dogecoin Price Losing the Grip as Elon Musk May Not Remain Twitter CEO for Long!

The Dogecoin price has been trading below the crucial 200-day MA since the beginning of the yearly trade. Meanwhile, the buying volume has fallen heavily. Also Today Elon Musk expressed his willingness to step down as Twitter CEO. He conducted a poll on twitter platform.

It is difficult for me to predict the situation around the Doge coin, since strange things have already happened to it several times, I mean a sharp increase in the price. Also, now we cannot know what is happening and whether there is an impact on the price of Doge coin. But still, I see that the fall in the price of Doge coin and trading volumes is a general market trend, which, unfortunately, is not very good. Perhaps in the future the situation on the market will improve and this will affect the price increase for Doge coin.

Elon is too busy working on Twitter that he had no time to chill about dogecoin lately, the truth is - dogocin has no real utility except the tweets from Ellon Musk, and since he is unable to do that lately the price of dogecoin is dropping fast. This is not a long-term project, perhaps investors are beginning to realize that.

It's not dead what are you talking about? Millions of people use Dogecoin daily.

Dogecoin price low doesn't mean it's dead. It means it's a buying opportunity.

Dogecoin has been dead for years, it is a copy paste coin with no useful purpose, but there are periods where it was price pumped by a billionaire likely for his own personal profit or that of his friends. SEC should really investigate.

If the only reason why a crypto project has a good price development, is the fact that a famous person that actually has no connection to Dogecoin whatsoever is making funny tweets about it, then this just means that this project does not really have any use case and does not provide any benefit for it's users. In the end it is just a meme-coin and no one should expect to much from such projects as Dogecoin was introduced as a fun and likeable project a few years ago. Sadly the the tweets of Elon Musk have initiated that crazy wave of second generation meme-coins and during the hype of that wave 1000's of new shit-coins appeared every day and now meme-coins are likeable anymore.

It's a bear market right now, all coins are trading very poorly because there is little liquidity in the market. It doesn't matter if it's DOGE or Bitcoin. Musk stepping down as CEO changes absolutely nothing. If Musk becomes an ordinary Twitter user again, he can just as well publish his tweets, which will raise the price of DOGE, and he does not need to hold any position in the company for that.

It's very vulnerable to buy Alt at this time, not because we don't have trust, but I'm also monitoring the current conditions which are still vulnerable to losses. The Bear Market hasn't ended yet.  again a significant increase, much to the disappointment of everyone who bought at that time and threw it at the lowest price, so I'm still reluctant to buy even some Altcoins or Bitcoins, because they still have a risk in each capacity..

Dogecoin isn’t dead no. It’s just in a significant down turn, a regular bear market like basically every cryptocurrency token/coin in existence. These trends don’t last forever even if you might be sad & it feels that way. Just try to stay strong & think about & do other things. Doge will rise again & hit new highs, you may have to be patient though, due to the current world financial situation it could take another few years.
