Dogecoin Price Losing the Grip as Elon Musk May Not Remain Twitter CEO for Long!

The Dogecoin price has been trading below the crucial 200-day MA since the beginning of the yearly trade. Meanwhile, the buying volume has fallen heavily. Also Today Elon Musk expressed his willingness to step down as Twitter CEO. He conducted a poll on twitter platform.

The Dogecoin price seems incredibly bearish and if Elon Musk quits as the Twitter CEO, the token may be badly impacted. Earlier Coinpedia made dogecoin price prediction for the end of 2023, as $0.158. But with current news it wants us to rethink and ask – is doge coin dead?

Dogecoin is not dead yet and I doubt that it will die during the next years, for some reason there are many people that still expect that this coin is going to make a massive movement during the next months, in part this was due to Elon being the CEO of Twitter as people were expecting dogecoin to be adopted officially by the social media platform, but if he steps down then we can say goodbye to that upward moment during the next year, but that is not going to kill dogecoin, it will just force dogecoin holders to wait until bitcoin begins to become bullish, which is something which could take a year or a year and a half.

I think it's very natural because dogecoin is not owned by anyone. even Elon Musk himself is not the official owner of Dogecoin until now. This coin is very risky therefore we must be prepared for whatever happens with this coin.

I don't know what's good about doge? Maybe just that it's a coin promoted by Elon Musk. Otherwise it is as useless as any other altcoin. I never understood why these memcoins have such a large capitalisation, even more than some real companies. I guess that will fix itself in time. By the way Twitter does not necessarily integrate doge. They could easily create another coin.

Doge already has a large community, is not only held by the regular community, but also large companies have invested in Doge. Even though they don't have a product or service, community that brings Doge to have a large market capitalization. Doge is not Elon or even not twitter product, even without Elon or twitter, I think Doge will still exist. Just like McAffee case in 2017, Elon is the same figure that is the origin of bullish FOMO. So, even Elon not tweeted about Doge either, the community has been trading doge for a long time. Regardless of price potential, the normal price is between $0.01 - $0.1. If you invest under $ 0.05, I think it's already at a fairly normal, to be stored for the long term, although there is no guarantee that there will be another big pump. NFA/DWYOR

when twitter officially became Elon Musk's property it made Dogecoin go up a bit, it was very natural that Dogecoin would go back down because of problems with twitter or Elon Musk. I am not a fan of dogecoin, it would be better to invest long-term in utility coins such as ethereum, solana, bnb. Dogecoin is indeed good for the short term.
even though twitter and doge coin honestly has zero relation whatsoever it's still mind blowing that this coin actually still got affected at every move made by elon, even though meme coins already famous for its fact that it's very fluctuative, the good thing of meme coin is definitely its ability to go against the trend, few shill from elon could already turn the tides, and in bullish, that just got stronger, I doubt it's gonna ever be dead honestly.

I think who become in charge of twitter will not be affecting dogecoin at the long run because before Elon buy up tweeter, doge coin also climped higher price to $0.74 so it won't. People just pump the price by going to buy doge because of high expectation from the deal.
If Elon musk want to pump it he can, it is only to make a positive tweet and it will take the price higher.

Dogecoin price is definitely related to Elon Musk tweets, but it has nothing to do with whether he holds the post of Twitter CEO or not. All the past dogecoin pumps come at a time when Elon Musk was not the CEO of Twitter. In addition, even after he leaves the post of CEO, he will still have control over Twitter, since he is its owner.

Dogecoin has not died yet but rather witnessed a huge decline after Elon Musk resigned from his position as CEO of Twitter. This news had a shocking effect on the price of the currency, which its supporters were waiting for to be the official currency of Twitter, and despite Elon's support for Dogecoin, Tesla has not invested in this dog currency before, also, many whales who own billions of Dogecoin transferred their Dogecoins to other wallets, which led to a significant decrease in the price of the currency, as for the price of Dogecoin now, it is good for investment but we must not rush and wait for the right time to enter.
dogecoin is still hanging good while Elon is still not CEO of twitter so what would be the reason for the fall if this back to normal mate as i don't see the logic at all? yes dogecoin might return to lower price but dying because of that seems to be irrelevant for now.
That was the fact, Dogecoin will keep its position as one of the top 10 coins in the market even without Elon Musk. Besides, Twitter has no market influence, some even consider this as not a reliable source of information. It definitely was not a factor that could bring Dogecoin out of our sight as I see it will keep striving despite the negative talks that we heard from others. Maybe we could think that its price will never grow but when it comes to sustainability, that seems possible.

The market situation is responsible for the fall of Doge Coin. At the present time, The whole market is down about 65% from its all-time high, On the other hand, Doge Coin is down about 60% from its all-time high. The only excuse is that the bear season is going on. Bad news is being continuesly published in the market. Big exchanges are getting destroyed. Nothing better can be expected in this situation. Doge Coin also has the potential to big pump once bear season is over. So I think Doge Coin is not over yet.

Dogecoin will stay just like Ethereum. Dogecoin is the king of meme coins, just like Ethereum when there are a lot of other projects that claim "Ethereum killers" and failed after.
So overall, dogecoin will stay even though there are a lot of other meme coins that are copying or the following dogecoin.

About Elon Musk, before, Elon Musk is still not around that using dogecoin for his drama, dogecoin is already here and already on the top as a meme coin.
I agree, in the world of memecoins, doge is still kinged in the same way Ethereum dominates the altcoins market. Doge will never die even if Elon no longer supports it, we need to remember that Doge appeared many years ago, and it still has a community that supports and uses them, then Elon comes and does for Doge to become stronger. The capitalization of Dogecoin recently surpassed coinbase, a lame comparison, but it shows that Doge is getting bigger and bigger.

Dogecoin is one of oldest altcoins that is still surviving in 2022. That demonstrate its survival ability in cryptocurrency market.

If people want to find a most important reason for its survival, that is its algorithm: Proof of Work. Without Proof of Work, Dogecoin should be dead many years ago. From foundation of Proof of Work algorithm, Dogecoin survives because of strong communities and many platforms accept Dogecoin to use for their customers.

If there is demand, there is supply for it, there is adoption for it. Dogecoin can not die.

Dogecoin has many years before the appearance and engagement of Elon Musk in Dogecoin. Without Elon Musk, bases from history of Dogecoin, it will still be fine.

See how many years from 2013 to 2022, Dogecoin appears in top altcoins?

It's five years but because screenshots are for top 15-16 altcoins. If checking for lower ranks like top 20 to top 50, Dogecoin is always in top lists.

Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins

Of course people would seemingly connect the two irrelevant points to each other. I am not a Doge fan nor trader, but we've been through many influencers in crypto that are trying to just gain attention from crypto users. Doge has nothing to do with Musk nor the other way around.

Just because that CEO would either become a janitor instead of Twitter does not mean it would affect any crypto coins.

It doesn't seem dead to me.  Sure, with the crypto market down all the speculators have left and a majority of the speculators this cycle were here for the meme coins.  The price is still insanely high for those of us who have been around a while and with Elon seemingly working to make DOGE the currency of Twitter, I think there's a good chance that DOGE's best days are still ahead of it.  If you are just a casual watcher of crypto on Twitter though, you'd no doubt probably think that Dogecoin died and is no longer in use based on the lack of promoting happening.

Yes, it may not be getting much attention, but doge is doge, and it is not dead.
Doge does not rely on Elon's tweet, because even without it, doge can survive.
It may just go back to its price when it is not yet popular, but it won't disappear.
That is true, for those long time users of doge, it is still high.
Just remember the time that we used this old meme alt for transfer purposes as the fee is very cheap.
Now, it is not cheap anymore as compared before. There are now cheaper old alts that you can use.

I think that Dogecoin will still be the "King of the meme coin" when Elon musk pump this last year and it might happen soon again if he tries to post it again when BTC pumps up for sure. And just like everyone says that it's best to hoard more Dogecoin while it is cheap and I would say that's the best plan right now as long as you really take the risk.
Dogecoin is the King of meme coin and there is nothing that will replace that and that being said the last bull run was the best run the meme coins had and i really doubt we will see anything like that again as we are expecting tighter regulations and moreover the investors coming in will be focusing on the BTC rather than a ton of meme and shit coins Wink.

He does not need to hold the position of the CEO if he planning to implement Dogecoin as the main coin for Twitter, it is a private company and he is the owner Tongue.

Dogecoin's situation has nothing to do with Twitter and with Elon Musk's possible stepping down as the CEO of Twitter, why would it impact the memecoin anyway? I don't really see some reasons that will have any effects with Dogecoin. And even if Elon Musk will step down, the dogecoins future is almost certainy anyway that it will be considered dead in the upcoming year just like the situation of Shiba Inu.

Also, Elon Musk will only step down if he finds someone that will replace him. So, that also means that if he'll find someone like him or at least achieve any of his standards as his replacement.
