any pool with a decent hashrate is getting constantly bombarded. it's frustrating. i'm sure someone out there is making out well by slowing the rest of us down.

I can tell you just by reading the name that it probably is a scam. Of course it is impossible to know for sure, but 99% of altcoins are pump and dumps. That's all.

To be sure on the agressive bombarding from the discussion board, it truly is not pretty to look at whatsoever, while getting no new info to the desk, which i believe is really a minimum for posting truly.
Posted 7 hours ago on their facebook:

Good Afternoon!
We'd just like to reiterate a few points to make sure everyone is clear on the current situation and
answer a few questions we have heard many times over the past few days.
Where are your coins?
Everyone's coins are safe, they are locked in the blockchain. Our systems were not penetrated by
anybody. Electroneum account holders who had used the same password/email on other sites such as Dropbox/Tumblr had their accounts compromised -
which is why it's essential you ensure that the email address you use for your Electroneum account is secured – we know lots of our users have had their own email hacked (their gmail, Hotmail, yahoo etc.). When we go live again, we’ll be getting you to create a new a secure, unique password for your Electroneum account, but if your email address has been hacked you will still be vulnerable. Please ensure your EMAIL account is secure.
When will the wallets be live?
As you know, we’ve engaged the services of HackerOne to carry out vulnerability and penetration testing of our platform
They started working with us yesterday. We have had no news from them as of yet but we'll be sure to update you when we do.
The indicated timescale for this is 3-4 weeks. This timescale has been quoted by Hackerone and we'll endeavour
to get the wallets live as soon as the testing is complete.
Hackerone work for the US Department of Defense as well as Coinbase, Spotify, Uber, Blockchain and dozens more top tech companies.
You can view Electroneum on their directory here. https://hackerone.com/electroneum
HackerOne should be publishing a Press Release soon confirming our commercial relationship, we will let you know when it’s released.
Why can't you login?
Until Hackerone are satisfied with our security, we have halted all logins to our website and the app,
but we can assure you that your ETN balance is safe and secure. We'll update you when you are able to login again to view your ETN balance.
What should you do while you're waiting for the wallets to go live?
-Ensure your EMAIL ACCOUNT (not your Electroneum account) password is unique and secure (your gmail/outlook/yahoo password)
-Read our Social Media updates! The answers to all your most common questions have been posted on updates and in videos in the last week or so.
-Share our Social Media posts to help us reassure the community that we are carrying out these procedures to protect our users and our brand.
-RELAX! This is an annoying delay, and we apologise, but it’s just a delay. Once live, all the marketing for mass adoption will begin.
-Sit back, make a cup of tea and we will get on with working with the security team to ensure your coins and the Electroneum brand have the maximum possible protection. ☕☕☕
Have a great day, and our apologies again for the inconvenience this has caused.

I don't believe it is a scam either, just would have been better if they had their "shit together" or so to speak.  Let's hope they unlock investors wallets soon.  Mixed thoughts on whether to hold or dump at that point myself personally.

only the noobs are crying scam, probably because they haven't been around long enough to have seen the real scams. a months delay is nothing and it's for better security. would you rather have logged into your account and seen no etn there, because you email was compromised without you knowing, (it would have happened to some of you), just so you could have missed out on being one of the very few who would have sent their entire balance to the exchange fast enough to get anything over the ico price. the earliest miners got a good price, but the buy support was very low, it would not have supported a huge sell-off above ico price. and then what? you would have wanted to dump it below your investment. nobody missed out on anything. if you invested you should have only invested what you could afford to lose, it's a gamble. nobody can say what the price will be, you could still make out well. so just sit tight and let the dev team do what you hoped they would, deliver a new type of crypto, protect the brand, add value to the project and so on.

Ice Rock Mining - Lifetime Profit
November 14, 2017, 12:59:08 AM
Well, I am getting a bit worried about Electroneum. The app has been in maintainence mode for a long time and still mobile mining as the key selling point is no where to be seen. It had so much community support, it will a shame this becomes a scam

No need to get worried yet. Remember that Richard Ells mentioned it would take 3 to 4 weeks to complete all the security tests. This will take us to early December. You should not expect anything sooner than that...

These guys are going through a lot of trouble to secure our coins. Give them some space to prove themselves.

Definitely NOT a scam. The team is extremely transparent about their project. Electroneum did not expect this large of an outcome, as a result they were a bit unprepared for all of this attention. Give them some time and you will see how this project will help the cryptocurrency market grow as a whole!

Electroneum does look like it could scam the investors.

Watch the video that Sunny Hussain did on his visit to the Electroneum headquarters, it will change your opinion for sure. You can find it on the Electroneum facebook page.

Yes, they have a good office or something like a headquarters.  In my opinion, they are not prepared for a lot of work they are facing and deadline pressures from investors and supporters. They  are crunching millions of data plus the fact that there are threat in security. This is a big project at seems they are already behind the deadline.I hope all is  ok, and deliver the project as planned.

One of the biggest SCAM ICO of this year, that a sure thing.
They frozen our money (with their SUDDEN 2fa faulty system) the day their blockchain went live (what an innocent coincidence lol).

These guys are professional SCAMMERS, just move on guys.
Thank god my investment wasn't that big. BUT some put their life savings (stupid & deserve to be scammed)

I will never trust these assholes again no matter how the value of the token will be.

They have yet to do ONE THING that would signal its a scam.

There are more Monero guys here, than in their own thread

the wallets have been locked and our coins are not available yet the coins are mineable and they are up on the exchange. can you prove this wasnt a scam?

Yes.

The wallets are locked as they do a security upgrade with Hackerone.com

Try looking them up.

They have a real office that youtubers have went to and interviewed them in.

Is all this enough for a Monero troll? Of course not

For a real investor? Definately

You just keep posting the same thing "they are scammers professional ones, etc etc", but I have not seen a singl proof to what you claim. So they had some problems during the blockchain launch. I'm gald they noticed it and are fixing. You say that's not a coincidence that it happened at the lauch. Almost everything related to computers has some kind of problem at launch, something that has been oversighted. Just give it a rest and let tem fix it, or provide proof of your claims.
