The current price is not that high for me actually because it was only started by mid december if im not mistaken and Ethereum is one of the stable in growing which has a great technology that can be inversly proportional to bitcoins when it dumps. I agree with you, ethereum is altcoin promising compared to another altcoin, it looks like this year is the property of the ethereum and doesn't get missed to invest in these coins.
I might agree because the ethereum indeed is one of the best altcoin and the price remains strong despite the many coins that fall on these last few months.
It isn't the outright best investment you can make in crypto but then again you will never know at any moment in time. I would argue right now it is still a sound investment as there are lot of upgrades in the works mainly Casper coming out which will enable staking later this year hopefully.
