Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh

This shouldn't be a question instead a statement because ethereum is already old. The hype towards the project is gone, guess that's why Vitalik Buterin introduced the 2.0 to bring back that hype from expectation of investors but that isn't working effectively since no one is paying any attention to altcoins this period, the news is all bitcoin. ETH competitors irrespective of how decentralized they're, are doing quite well than ethereum was. Most popular example is EOS were transactions are instant with zero fees unlike ethereum blockchain.

ICOs which were a major contributor to ethereum success has been replaced by IEO which Binance is leading that industry and now that they have launch their very own blockchain who knows they might develop their DEX into conquering the crowdfunding industry and if that does happen, I don't think ethereum would have much effect in the industry. We now have other projects that offer similar feature of ethereum with better user experience and innovations. Ethereum is old (no question mark).

The development of crypto technology every day continues to grow. Ethereum has been victorious before, and now there is certainly another new blockchain that is more than ethereum. With so many competitors ethereum certainly does not make ethereum just die. ethereum blockchain is still widely used and can still compete. Sooner or later people will slowly start to move to blockchain that is faster and cheaper.

I don't think ethereum is getting old or useless like it used to be when it first launched. but for now ethereum needs to be further developed and changed its platform program to keep abreast of work processes by using the IEO program and leaving the ICO program so that investors will also get a refresh and fresh air from the current ethereum.

The reason why price of ethereum never getting up to the level of Bitcoin is due to the same reason initial coin offering people want to cash out all the ethereum price list so that demand kept low in the recent years compared to Bitcoin but it is not going old are useless.

I don't agree with you. First, ICOs and IEOs are still based on Ethereum platform more than others. Second, these days people are less interested in altcoins. So, less interest in Ethereum is normal.

Also I want to draw your attention to bitcoin. Bitcoin is now the oldest cryptocurrency. Many new cryptocurrencies have been created and had claimed to be better than bitcoin. But none of them were successful. I expect Ethereum to remain the biggest altcoin as it is the oldest altcoin. Not only oldness is not a disadvantage, it's an advantage.

I would just say that do not get discouraged by these market movements i know most people here want to see the prices growing always but realistically this is not possible and secondly if we accept your argument that eth has become old then btc should not exist by now which is already 10 years old while eth has just entered its 4th year. If you support eth and the underlying technology then donot despair it is going to be huge just have patience.

More people are using Eth than ever before, for its intended use as a platform for decentralized applications. The ICO thing was always a distraction.

Ethereum had a large prominence within the crypto space since launch, due to its flexibility for developing decentralized applications and launching ICO tokens. During 2017, Ethereum gained a lot of traction where it had massive transaction activity within its Blockchain network. This was largely attributed towards the rise of ICO's popularity, as well as, Blockchain-based games like CryptoKitties. While those times where exciting, everything came to an end as soon as transaction speeds became lower and fees spiked due to high network load.

After that, the ICO craze was no more, and people stopped using Ethereum more thoroughly. With the rise of other smart contract platforms with better speeds and lower fees than Ethereum, most developers and businesses have shifted towards well-known competitors of ETH. Now, many people are waiting for the PoS consensus upgrade to take effect, but developers continue to delay the same. After so many delays, it seems to me that Ethereum is starting to get old. The hype is over, and people are not so excited about ETH as they used to be within its early days.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh
