I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.
High fees can be considered for a certain period of time because of the bullish run. They claimed that the fees problem will be solved on their next update which is Ethereum 2.0, the most awaited update from Ethereum which will fix the high fees issues and will improve for faster transaction rather than previous one.

Do you know this? - https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-2-0-staking-is-coming-to-coinbase

I don't think there is happening anything for which Ethereum is going to die. I can say that Ethereum is going to make strong it's position.

For me, ethereum will not kick the bucket, but that can be right within the occasion that the supporter of ethereum takes off the amplify and moves to the other wanders.I think ethereum still contains a chance to rise since and ethereum still be the ruler at the altcoins. It is possible  there will be another extend that can beat ethereum inside long-standing time as we don't know where the cryptocurrency will arranging to be. I think the exchange expense can get lower before long, but this time, maybe, we need to appreciate the current expense that we as of presently utilized.

The death of Ethereum means the death of the market. such a thing is impossible...

No Ethereum will not die, This altcoin will have a huge impact on all cryptocurrency because of its features and uses, one of this is the Defi Even if the transaction fees are so high, Many still are using ETH as their main Crypto
many times we said about ethereum die , but ethereum still alive till now on and even its price growth alot. as major coin which is its platform used by many project , ethereum will stay alive for long time . although we see new competitor everyday but it could not beat this project.

Didn't you hear about the Ethereum 2.0 news which is on the beacon blockchain? You probably already know that Ethereum 2.0 launches 1st December. Ethereum transaction cost has increased because of us. We're using this blockchain more than before, so transaction costs are increasing. If we start to use Tron blockchain the same happens to Tron cost. Actually we need faster and less cost, maybe ETH 2.0 could handle.
Yeah absolutely that ethereum 2.0 will overcome those slow and congestion of the network of Ethereum, the upgrade promises the community of Ethereum with processing 100.000 transaction per second so we do not need to set higher gas to get faster transaction to confirmed. But i don't find a problem what the problem that developers are trying to scale running blockchain. I think it is sounds good that Ethereum will be upgraded when it is in the high point of glory because it has a lot of community to support its future network upgrades.

Even though there are many competitors out there that doesn't mean Ethereum is going to die. I believe that ethereum will continue to exist, we also don't know what will happen in the future, who knows ethereum's price could be double the current price, or even Vitalic can solve the main problem of slow eth network and expensive gas costs. anything can happen.

I see people complaining about bitcoin fees, I see people complaining about Ethereum fees and they are still the strongest currencies in this market.
High fees mean there are many people transacting with these currencies so they aren't going to die. If you think this way there is some benefit on the issue you pointed. Furthermore ethereum has the base protocol for many altcoins projects. It's one of the very few altcoins which have a practical usage, what means its price has a reason besides pure speculation. There is no reason to fear eth investment at this moment.

Well said. It is true that Ethereum remains the Gold standard for smart contract chains and apps and  has potential to make further gains and even it can hit $800 before the year ends. The issue is there are many competitors  in smart contract Business who offer better service with lower fee so obviously they will share its business. As Investor I strongly believe intrinsic value of Assets based on their potential to grow , so obviously will choose those assets for huge gains in future. Polka dot, ADA are going to give tough time to Ethereum in future.
Firstly, i was amazed someone would have the thought that one of the cryptocurrency will have in the market (ETH) will quench off the market despite its potential and support level.
With that been said, i was surprised you sees others smart contract and dApps project as a strong competitor for ETH which is the reason why i believe you don't notice that others smart contract and dApps project live in the shadow of ETH despite there fast TPS.

the possibility that if ethereum does not have good news and does not have developments that can increase its use it will make ethereum die, maybe ethereum should be able to provide a lot of development and can be used for many companies.
which makes eth survive because there are many investors who have invested in it and the community believes in eth. Two things that eth is the mainstay of are smart contracts and Dapp, but over time many coins have copied the concept and even developed it. so I think eth someday will be left behind if it doesn't make improvements regarding network speed and costs.i hope eth 2.0 is the solution.

Ethereum is not going to die. The blockchain has grown over the years to become the most popular smart contract platform in the world with its extensive ecosystem of developers. I think the problem currently faced has to do with high gas fees and network congestion. I hope ETH 2.0 will help alleviate these issues as promised. Let's see how it goes, but even at that Ethereum isn't gonna die.

The transaction fees are also my concern, we all know it's a normal thing, but that would be bothersome if the value holds a huge percentage on your token value, but Ethereum holds a huge chain of projects, we can expect more projects to join in as they keep on developing their platform. They won't die, clearly.
The gas fee problems is always a barrier for Crypto lovers. but I believe they have prepared a solution for this problem in ethereum 2.0. Currently ethereum is the strongest project with nearly 60% of projects using their protocol, I believe that there is no way ethereum will die even in the next 5 years

Some users may have disappointments with eth network these days.
But I do believe that eth team is not sleeping on this problem.
Their Beacon Chain just got live. So I have high hopes on this platform.
I don't think, Vitalik doesn't know their current issues, the rising gas fees and all.
Behind the curtain, I believe they are doing their part to address these issues.

Nobody thinks if Ethereum is dead now or in the future progress always looks good however many have complained about ethereum because the price movements are quite disappointing besides that the cost of GAS is very high may slowly will stabilize and make many investors return to Ethereum

Sounds funny anyways. Ethereum will never die and nothing can stop the growth of Ethereum unless crypto market decides to fold today. Ethereum is the king of altcoins same as bitcoin is to all coins so after bitcoin you get Ethereum. Ethereum can only die unless other altcoins wants to die which isn't possible. Price may go low but can't stop Ethereum existence.

I've never heard about any crypto project that was killed due to its high gas fee  Sad , Ethereum is the second best digital coin for some reasons, people won't stop using this altcoin because of new smart contract projects like Ethereum, developers will still prefers ERC20 smart contract for new projects probably because it's more easier and more popular? Today Ethereum 2.0 goes live and staking is active so no more worries about high fee

true supporter will always support the project, without wondering what will happend in the future, because they already believe with the project

I don't think so this will happen. Today Ethereum 2.0 is launched and I am expecting GAS fee will be reduced and congestion will also be reduced in the coming days. Currently, none of these coins you mentioned in your post is not near to Ethereum value. As we all know ethereum is popular to create smart contracts and that's the plus point for ethereum as compare to others. So ethereum will remain here for long unless a better and reliable technology developed.

when we talk about only Ethereum as a coin it is not dying, it is following Bitcoin .Now it is trading above 600$ and moving towards about its ATH. yes if we talk about Ethereum network it is paining us with its Gas fee, slow transaction ,transaction failure. If eth overcome all these things then it is always number 2.

IMO ETH 2.0 will overcome all of that problem, but maybe the price will drop after that. Because so many eth staked and Nobody want to make the price higher since no miner reward, dont know, just my opinions
The developers have promised that the upcoming ETH 2.0 will definitely overcome all of the problems and issues to its network, such as high gas fees. Also, Ethereum is one of the top coins in the crypto market next to bitcoin; that is why Ethereum will not die because many projects are using its platform to run and create decentralized applications and enable smart contracts.

Looking at Ethereum's current performance and transaction value, I think ethereum is still the king of altcoins. There may be some new projects that want to compete with ethereum, but I think it will take a long time for them to win over investors' trust
