to surpass the highest price that has ever been reached in the market I think it will be difficult because the current price is quite different. but if you make a good ATH this year I think it will not be too high but it will look better than the current price.

Ethereum is a long term investment, it will set up a new high eventually. Will it be this year or the next one, we can gamble on that. Ethereum has a lot to do in upcoming months, turning to staking is not so easy as it seems, they will have to do a lot about that. Before eventual price rise, at least some more serious rise, ethereum will have to finish with that upgrade, and only after that we will see some significant price rise, at least that's my opinion about ethereum in this year. This is a good opportunity for investing in ethereum, at least at this price now, as the time is passing I believe it buying ethereum will be more expensive.

If the market is going to grow continuously, the ethereum price will probably gonna go up also since the value of the ethereum is dependent on the price of the bitcoin. When the bitcoin goes up, the value of the ethereum will go up also. The prediction on the bitcoin price after the halving will be 100k USD. So maybe, the ethereum will set its new highest price again.Exactly, ETH price is completely based on the price of Bitcoin, at the beginning of this year we have already seen the price of ETH increased to some extent, but whether it will manage to continue till the end of the year we don't know but surely the price of ETH will increase in this year.
actually in terms of projects that have been running lately, there are many that have failed. but the price of etherum is starting to go up I think this is because of the fork etherum 2.0 plan, and that is the reason for starting to buy and hold etherum. because of the results of the fork, many expect prices to rise to the moon. I think that's the reason why this year the etherum has begun to recover.

eth has become one of the altcoins with considerable potential. because the volume and also their community is quite large and the platform they have also has a good level of use for developers who develop their platforms in this industry, because the use of the eth platform for new tokens is still an option, so I think eth is worth investing.

this year the ETH is likely to be at the point of saturation, rising or not, not decreasing, the maximum will not be any major change in the ETH. The replacement of the new platform on ETH is also felt to have less impact on ETH prices. Maybe it's because the market demand for ETH is lacking, especially since the rise of IEO which replaced ICO.
If only from 2017 ETH has a special market or a market that really originates from ETH, maybe the story will be different, let us look at the binance with its BNB coins and IEO.

I'm pretty sure they will have a great year this year Bitcoin halving and their POS features are coming, it's been a long time that Ethereum has not been recovered their old-time price and this is the opportunity that we are waiting for, better buy some now or regret later.

but the problem is ico's now are becoming obsolete . ieo's now are the new trend . thats also the reason on why etherium havent increase alot unlike before that ico's was still hot .

not just a simple milionaire can up the price of crypto but whales yes . millionares dont care how the market goes so dont give credits to them . eth did jump up to 0.1btc before ? wow i didnt know that . i joined on the late 2017 and the highest ath i see for eth were only at close to 400 usd . now like i said above, i dont expect that the time can happen again because there are now better alternatives to eth .

It depends on what way btc is heading. Although we are in 2020, wether you like it or not, alts will still follow the trend on btc. That clearly shows on why there's no alts that can surpass btc. If btc set a new ATH, then possibly same thing will happen with ETH and other alts. For now, it's too early to say that a new ATH will be set since halving haven't passed yet. You can only predetermined the way we are heading months after halving, most probably 2021 or last quarter of this year.

If bitcoin continues to rise this year and is priced above $ 13000 then I believe ETH can surpass ATH in 2019, ETH price could go up to $ 350-400 depending on the situation of BTC. And it's too difficult for ETH to create a new ATH like 2017, we need to have a huge pump for altcoin and in addition ICO projects also have to revive for investors wishing to buy and use ETH

That is not the reason that can help ETH increase this year. There are many active projects in the ETH chain over the past 2 years, but the price of ETH has not gone up because investors have no need to use ETH. If you want ETH to be able to create a high price in 2020, then you should expect the ICO to revive, which is the only way for ETH price to go up.That's a very big question for now and as we think people aren't having trust on new projects, then why we're going to push a lot of ICO to be back to life? We're already into more desperate situations, and not is the best time to move on and start a new chapter of cryptocurrency. More challenges made us stronger in time, and two years of having indefinite income was so devastating. Now is our best time to find another alternatives to earn better profit venturing physical business.
Too early to predict because Ethereum has been through a bearish year I think now it's time for Ethreum to progress further I feel it can reach a new high if we compare it with whole 2019 but not sure if it will reach ATH because a repeat of 2018 is not an easy task to achieve again.

I think that's impossible to happen within this year, (base on my opinion) since there was no signs to bring that speculation into reality, Ethereum was stable and progressive in terms of its trading price across many cryptocurrency exchanges, its within the average price in last few months and it remain strong, others also said that Eth will be benefiting the upcoming Bitcoin halving and i really don't know if there is a connection with those upcoming events and Eth price. but still crypto currency has full of surprises who knows it will be turn into reality. sr. member

I think ETH have great chance to make new ATH this year. ETH going to upgrade to new version and this give lots of benefit to those dAdpp, token using ETH chain. Beside that, bitcoin going to halving soon, this will make whole crypto market be in a new bull run, include ETH.
