If a person who is addicted to gambling realizes that he is addicted to gambling and he should come out of this addiction but he tries to come out and if he has 100% effort then surely he can come out of this addiction.
I have yet to see anyone who was able to get out of gambling addiction. Gamblers get out of gambling when they are in too much debt and don't have enough money to gamble. Only then do they take a break from gambling.

I think gambling addiction is one of the worst habits because every gambler gradually gets themselves addicted to gambling in such a way that they think of earning money from it to support their family i.e. they take it as their goal. Then their greed increases. As the greed increases, they become more addicted and can't get out easily. Gamblers who gamble should plan their gambling because they should remember that luck can never be changed from gambling.

I personally know several former gambling addicts who have been able to recover from this addiction. One of them is now engaged in trading and says that it is quite enough for him. Another replaced gambling with sports and now he can't imagine life without daily workouts. So I think that almost every gambling addict can get rid of gambling addiction if they want to. There would be a desire.

You have not seen doesn't mean no gambling addict has been able to get out of the addiction. Addiction is not to a death behaviour that can't be cut off if an individual is determined and also having the support of family and friends in eliminating the addiction. It's not easy though but it happens.  Sometime about addiction whether gambling or any other form, it takes a gradual process and that's why we should learn to be patient with anyone battling to come out of it, encouraging and counseling them when and where necessary.

Anytime you see a gambler become so hook to gambling and doesn't know when he or she has exceed her limit, then I'm to believe that the person addicted is definitely into debts. There are some people I know personally that are addicted into gambling but don't take it too extremely because they don't have any debt and most of the time they bets recklessly, it's their own salary and not borrow funds and they stop immediately when they are out of funds and despite how close we are, they don't ask me to fund their casino lifestyles but we do in other aspects of life.

Majority of people that are addicted too much to gambling are most of the people with debt, even people that made ton of money from gambling don't do like without gambling they wouldn't be able to enjoy their life when they have other plentiful of source of income but it's alwsys convenient for them to risk amount quickly and get it back and if they don't, they don't look like they loss money to casino.

There are some gamblers who sees gambling as their way of getting entertained, and they don't really care about the money they lose. There are some gamblers who sees gambling as their only way for their lives to be changed. Kind of absurd, but that's the reality. There are some gamblers who sees gambling as their way of relieving stress, but there are some gamblers who sees gambling as a way for them to make money. Sometimes, those people who sees gambling as a way to make money are the ones who end up getting disappointed and will feel regret in the end.
I agree with you. How someone views gambling is very subjective. There are those who just want to have fun and there are those who want to earn more money. I think those who gamble to get more money are those who are addicted to gambling, don't have good emotional and financial management, and they try to hope for miracles and luck. I personally think those who gamble to earn more money are just ruining their lives. Based on my experience we will never be able to win gambling if you use your winnings to place bets again. Many gamblers are addicted because they have thoughts like this.
If there are people who gamble for fun, then they should be the real addicts and not those who are in it to make money. For someone to have the motivation to gamble when money is not the target even though they are putting money into it, then they are eminently qualified to be called addicts. Winning or losing mean nothing to them as long as they derive the much needed fun from gambling, they are satisfied. If this is not what addiction mean, what do we call addiction then? Addiction is like a hobby that when someone have not done it, there will be a feeling that something is not right. Therefore, gambling can be a hobby for those who gamble for fun.

It all boils down to the discipline again. Your greed never should overcome your patience and discipline, because even if it comes from a good heart, it won't cause any improvement in the long run. There is a big difference between a gambler who sees it as a hobby and a way to have a good time and one who uses it to triple or quadruple his profit.
Even if the person is good at discipline, there is still a high chance of them getting addicted to the game if they consider it a hobby because they will turn it into something they will be doing almost every time they are less busy and are looking for something they could use to pass time. The more comfortable they are with it, the more likely they will get addicted to the game.

I would say gambling can be a hobby. But most of the time it becomes an addiction. I have several friends. Those who do not participate in gambling except on various occasions. They never go to any casino. Also does not participate in online gambling. For them gambling is just a game. And gambling is a hobby for these people.
Gambling can be considered a hobby for those who can control gambling and participate in gambling. But your friends mainly participate in gambling for fun on any important day, they do not have a target of earning money. Yes, it makes sense that you consider gambling as a hobby rather than an addiction for your friends.
People must be careful when they use gambling as a hobby. As we know hobby could be needs too much money and if we can't allocate or calculate how much the money, we can spends a lot of money. That will not be good for your financial because we have the other needs that we must fills.

We can not use gambling too often especially for a hobby because besides we use too much money, we will have a chance to becomes addicted to gambling. If we gets deeper in gambling and even becomes addicted to gambling, that will be a big problem for us. We will not have a chance to lets gambling easily because our minds will always thinks about gambling.

It is better to use gambling as one activity like other activities in our daily life. But as long as they can control themselves in gambling, they will not have a problem. They must use limitation to always aware of everything bad that can happens while they gambling and after playing gambling.

You are right that even if we consider gambling as a hobby, it is very important to be aware of it. If we are not aware we can lose huge amount of money on this hobby too. Sometimes we can lose even by betting big amounts with wrong friends. This is why it is so important for us to be aware. At the same time, we should be aware of our financial limitations. We should spend such amount of money on gambling that even if I lose money, it does not affect my daily life.

I would say that those who have chosen gambling as a career should also avoid risking large amounts of money. I have seen many gamblers become millionaires from nothing, and I have seen many millionaires who lost everything in gambling. So we must be very careful in gambling. If I gamble regularly I will definitely have to research them and gain experience. At the same time I have to consider my financial situation and then invest money in gambling.

There is a big difference between a gambler who sees it as a hobby and a way to have a good time and one who uses it to triple or quadruple his profit.
There is always a line between your greed and patient sometimes both can have a conflicting demanding on a gambler in the sense that sometimes your greed could make you to excise patients and at the end you end up losing and at other time when you Excesize that patients it favour you by winning the game at the end, so it ball down to individual and how lucky you are as a gambler, u remember an incidence that happened to me sometimes ago, I made a sportbets and while the match was on, I hard a large amount in my cash out, one mind asked me to hold on until the total 100% rewards is won, while the other seek that a cash out the already yielded profits and move on, this occupied my thoughts for a long time, and when I finally decided to take the Cashout, the game was no longer in my favour and I have lost the chance.
At a point I blamed myself for being greedy not to have taken the chance to move on with the available cash out, the most painful part was that I staked the bet with Bitcoin and not USDT or other cryptocurrency that have less value, and when I calculated the total amount from bitcoin to fiat it was a large amount I have lose at the end, since then, I learn my lesson that I will never allow greed and emotions to take a good part of my decision making process again.

Generally, addiction is created by excessive attraction and when it becomes excessive it is considered bad. If you want to refrain from something you love, it becomes difficult for you. But if you try yourself, you can overcome the addiction. There are some gamblers who continue their gambling until they lose everything in gambling and there are some who borrow money and continue gambling even after the money runs out. Thus they continue their gambling.

All addictions are bad. It can be gambling addiction or drug addiction neither of which is considered good. A drug addict will lose his physical abilities due to excessive drug consumption. But when a gambler becomes addicted he can lose all his wealth. A gambler should approach gambling in such a way that it never becomes addictive.

So only those who gamble regularly can gain from gambling,
That's the knowledge or method from which you got it, if you gamble regularly you will make a profit, have you tried it, if yes, show it here, you can't measure whether someone who gambles regularly can make a profit/win, that's a wrong opinion, there are cases where someone gambles only once, then he can make big profits, do you believe that.

If they use gambling as a hobby, that will slowly change their gambling habit and will gives them addicted without they know.
Yes, that makes sense, the things we usually do can become hobbies, and vice versa it will become an addiction for them, for that reason gambling is not like a hobby, maybe it's like recreation, gambling is played when there is money or the mind is enthusiastic, can be played once a week ortwice, to overcome addiction.

It’s great that you were able to overcome the trap of gambling addiction in the past and now sometimes play in such a way that you know in advance that you will never fall into this trap again.  This truly allows you to treat gambling as a hobby that generally provides hours of entertainment and only takes up as much money as you can afford to lose without having any major impact on your regular life.

It is always a reason to celebrate the fact that there are people who overcome gambling addiction, and that everything points to an improvement, and it is also good to bring it to the forum, especially for those players who want a reason or that hope, that if a player could overcome this, then I think that everyone is capable of overcoming it too, that is why I continue to show others that sometimes it is better to limit the money with which you are going to play in order not to fall into addiction, it will always be my advice, and playing with little money, although it may seem boring, is Preferable to falling into addiction.

If a person who is addicted to gambling realizes that he is addicted to gambling and he should come out of this addiction but he tries to come out and if he has 100% effort then surely he can come out of this addiction. It must be a happy moment for an addict that he has come out of gambling addiction. Basically in gambling we should keep control over ourselves and play. If we are controlled by gambling then we must understand that we are addicted to gambling. We must keep a note of how much we gambled and how much money we lost each day.

An addicted person is impossible for some gamblers to get out of gambling. Because people who have lost money and become addicted to gambling, they are more attracted to gambling to regain that money. And the addicted person may gain from gambling very little, but it is not possible to get out of gambling. Because the more you gamble the more you lose because of the addiction alone.

So only those who gamble regularly can gain from gambling, participating in gambling four days a week will make the person less addicted to gambling. Only experienced and non-addicted individuals can gain more from gambling.
I see this complicating, you claimed those who are gambling to recover their money can be addicted and still not have anything to show for it, and it's the same you who said that if one gambles regularly, they can gain from gambling, so which one do we believe? In my understanding, gambling can bless anyone and it can ruin anyone, your often participation doesn't matter, what matters is your smartness and your luck. No one can control the fate of anyone in gambling, we are only trying bees, however, it's still more feasible in sports betting to win often with almost certainty. But anyone who is gambling in a desperate way for the money or to regain back the lost money will never get to achieve their aim, except in rare cases.
Yeah, the probability of actually winning back in gambling really practically approaches zero as the player loses more and more, and as he strives to finally win and compensate for his losses.  Perhaps there are lucky cases when you get a really huge win.  But I, for example, have not heard of such cases just among ordinary players with whom I communicate.  Maybe these are the players who are written about in the newspaper as big lucky ones, but for some reason it seems to me that such winnings do not go to those players who persistently strive to win back after a series of losses that are gradually becoming larger and larger.

However, if you gamble every couple of weeks, I don’t think it will be harmful.  The main thing is not to do this constantly, because habits are formed precisely because of consistency.
The most important thing to control about gambling is the amount of money used for gambling in relation to the total funds of the gambler. This is more important than controlling how frequent gambling is made. If the amount used for gambling is very small and insignificant relative to the gambler's financial status such that he can afford to lose it without pain, then gambling will never be a painful thing for him. Gambling can be a hobby but it is dangerous to make gambling a hobby because there is a thin line between hobby and addiction.

I think we mean the same thing, just from different angles. Consistency forms habit, and habit then forms addiction.  And in gambling, addiction is an effect that will definitely lead to losing money. Moreover, permanent and irrevocable. When a gambler pours in more and more, giving away money from banks and friends.
And now we have come to your conclusion: uncontrolled waste of money in gambling.
This is how everything is interconnected: emotions, money, time and occupation, which is why the topic of Gambling is so complex.

It is difficult to realizes that someone become addicted to gambling.
If he can realizes about his gambling addiction and must cure it, he will do that without takes too long because he know that will gives him more problem. Before all problem comes to him, he will ask for a help from people around him to brought him to rehabilitation and cure his gambling addiction. But maybe that will not many people who can do that when they gets addicted to gambling because mostly, they will not realizes that they are addicted to gambling and needs help.

If they use gambling as a hobby, that will slowly change their gambling habit and will gives them addicted without they know. He can feels nothing is change with him but other people who see what he do will say that there is something bad happens to him. He will be lucky if people around him see what he do so they will immediately helps him and drag him out from gambling. They will stops their gambling habit by asking him to do other things and will always besides him until he gets cure.

You can wake up a sleeping person but no matter how hard you try to wake up a person who is pretending to sleep, he will never wake up. If there is a gambler around you who has become addicted to gambling due to excessive gambling, you can try to get him out of that addiction on your own initiative.

For example, the free time you can spend with him in physical sports, you try to create a good relationship with him, hoping he will understand his mistake and when he understands his mistake, he will definitely be able to come out of this addiction by his own efforts.
Unfortunately, the whole paradox really lies in the fact that an addicted gambler must only realize that he is ruining his life. No one will be able to convince him because then this gambler will simply nod and lie that he realized his mistakes. Also adding to the complexity is the fact that after a severe addiction it is impossible to fully recover.
The experience of addiction remains with the gambler forever, like a sleeping virus, and the gambler should not provoke himself into gambling, diligently avoiding the casino.  Otherwise, a new period of dependence will begin.

First of all I will like to define hobby in my own understanding. Something that one like to do always either for pleasure, leisure or entertainment. And example of hobbies which I know. Swimming which can be a game as well, reading which can also be a competition as " reading competition", and anything competition is a game, and sport. Sport can be someone hobby if the person love sports and like to partake in it. And that means something you partake that you have leisure and pleasure can be your hobby.

Why I brought this topic because someone told me here that https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63928115 gambling is not a hobby and from my viewpoint gambling can be a hobby for the addicted gamblers and that argument made me to do some research and I also came up with this Gambling can be a harmless hobby or a serious addiction. and also from another source again Gambling as a hobby is legitimate so long as it starts of as and remains a hobby, which means self-control in order to pursue a satisfactory result with a limited budget
And lot more.

Upon all those sources and explanation, I still need the community input on the argument to know if gambling is a HOBBY so that I and the person will understand more.
Cheers.
Anything can be a hobby for me, a profession for others and an addiction for someone else. We are all individuals and have different perceptions. For me personally, gambling is a hobby. I have gambled since 2016 and till this day, I haven't lost an amount that I would cry for. I can count that I haven't lost totally more than 100$ for so many years. I deposit 5$ and till it lasts, it lasts. I gamble here and there, and sometimes months or even a year will pass and I don't gamble, for me it's a 100% hobby, both gambling and sports betting. I only play live blackjack when I feel moody and little bit depressed, it immediately lifts my mood. I have never gambled with the goal of earning a million dollar with it because I know how house works and I know my probability of winning jackpots, that's why I have never had addiction problems and that's why I haven't suffered financially, that's why it's a hobby for me.

This is a very subjective topic because everyone sees gambling differently.

Now to answer your question, gambling is a hobby ONLY FOR SOME gamblers. There are some gamblers who want to change their lives with the help of gambling which for me is kind of possible, but the chances are very low.
