Because of this people need to be honest with themselves, if they are impulsive and they are the kind that often have problems controlling themselves when drinking and other similar activities, then they need to avoid gambling at all costs.

But if after taking those factors into consideration, they still decided to gamble then they could face serious consequences, and once they realized their mistake they may try to stop gambling for good, something that is easier said than done, and that depending on their own determination and the treatment they receive, it could take them years to achieve this.

Well without going too far, when I was a beginner I played alone, I was gaining experience but I still felt like I was losing a lot of money and that was something I couldn't stop, no matter how many strategy videos I watched on YouTube I always ended up losing, one of the ways I understood more about the game was by comparing some things with trading and reading the posts on the players' forum, and although at first I couldn't find what I was looking for, I read advice that was very useful to me, currently my biggest learning is that you have to control your money so you don't have to control your emotions or something similar , so if at this point I do take up the game as a hobby again I know I won't lose money like when I was a newbie.

Making gambling a hobby by someone who doesn't have strong control over their decision can be the starting point to getting addicted to gambling, because when something is your hobby, that means you love doing that particular thing every now and then, and when you don't do it again at your leisure time, it appears as if there is something missing, which is exactly the easiest way of getting addicted to gambling without even realising it.

Taking gambling as hobby could be done , it's fine with caution ... why did I say so ?? If we take a look at hobby  then we will come to conclusion that without the word "leisure time" then our definition isn't complete, hobby is generally  what someone does or likes doing at his/her free time , gambling could be done at free time but not all the time as it could lead to addiction... I don't know how someone would take it as a career actually  it looks irrational because how will he/she get a fund or top up  his/her gambling account(I'd there's need to) without having a work backing it up that's not a good life strategy IMO

I agreed with you because there are some people who play gamble every blessed day and they can't lived without playing gamble a day. So those people have already taken gambling has their hobby. And those gamblers lose and win every week so they are always on the casino website air Hall. Some people take gambling as their career because there is no any other job or work for them to do so all their life is just inside gambling.

Many people becomes deeper in gambling when they use gambling as their hobby because they can't hold their passion in gambling and that makes them playing gambling more often than before. That makes them risks more money and lose control over themselves which can lead them lose their money. Using gambling as a hobby means we will playing gambling more than other people so we will have a chance to lose more money.

If you don't wants to spends your time and money in gambling, you should look for other activities to distract your minds from gambling and only playing gambling when you really wants. You will not use too much money because you know that gambling is just an activity that you choose to fills your spare time. You don't want to losing more money so you will always limits that to avoids the big lose. We must leave gambling when we feels it's enough to playing gambling to avoids the bad things that can happen to us.

Yeah, maybe it's difficult.  And a novice to gambling would still rather not read warning posts from experienced players, but would prefer to simply play for fun.  And of course, lose, lose your money, but also gain your own experience.  But starting from a certain point, especially if such a beginner begins to understand that something is wrong in his game, he still begins to read what more experienced players write.  In my opinion, this stage of perception of information about gambling from experienced players will begin earlier, which will be better for this newbie.

I agree, the thing is that if only I had discovered the forum before the casinos, then the advice that one would have taken from them perhaps would have avoided losing Certain Amounts of Money , but it is delicate, if we now speak to novices, they will not pay attention to us because of the emotion, and maybe they will tell us:  "This is my money and I spend it however I want" and they are right, sometimes people have to fall into the same mistakes that we fell into , one tries to help them so that they do not go through experiences similar to ours, but rather try to have a better Experience , because that is what it is about, but it is difficult.

It's never a bad thing to see happened to us having gambling as our hobby, but we should not take it for granted as a reason to getting addicted, our hobby should be what we like doing and what we are being capable of doing to have fun at our free time, gambling can be a hobby to us and we can also mange the way we are gambling to ensure that we avoid addiction through it.

I envy you guys who have travelling as your hobby, that's why human beings will never be the same, I dislike travelling like anything. Besides, you are right about this hobby of a thing, it is easy for so many gamblers to say gambling is their hobby, and perhaps some are even faking it because gambling is not so easy to easily make a hobby and no matter how you think you love it or tries to guard yourself around it, it could be addictive.

Gambling as a hobby can only be possible with some strict criteria put in place, such gamblers should never gamble with a huge amount of money or even an amount that they can't afford to lose no matter how little it is. This is where the emotional issues of gambling start if such advice is disobeyed. It might start with having fun like any other game, and it may graduate to a hobby over time, but our caution and discipline should be strict so that we do not let ourselves be controlled by it as the end will never be palatable.

Despite loving it as a hobby, there should be some budget and plans to help further. For instance, you have to know the minutes or hours of the day you will play and avoid excessive gambling. Most people lose in gambling as well, which is why no matter how much people love it, if they are only deriving their fun which prompts them to take it as a hobby, they should always know their limit that should not be crossed. But how to reason with such players and really force them to leave the gaming session on time is a big and difficult question.

Gambling can be a hobby because people gamble for entertainment and leisure. And entertainment is a hobby that people like to do. But gambling may not be a hobby for some people because many people take gambling as a means of earning and they do not participate in gambling for entertainment. However, people who take up gambling as a hobby must be aware that gambling should use a specific budget of income that is 1%-5% at most. If a budget is fixed between 1% and 5% I think a person will not get addicted to gambling very easily. So if gambling is taken up as a hobby or entertainment, it is definitely better to set a certain budget of income which is better not to spend extra money outside the budget.

Hobby is something we like doing. If we think we can take gambling as an hobby or we see it as an hobby then we should be ready to be happy whether we are winning or we are losing. I believe hobby is something we do that gives us joy and we keep enjoying it even when other are not finding any peace in it. As a gambler, if we think gambling is a fine if hobby we should be prepared for the worse because there will be a lot of obstacles and discomforts that will come as a result of bad days and that shouldn't make us angry but to be positive about everything that keeps coming as a result.

That's how it is, that's why I've always said something, if we are going to play in a casino , what we should do as a first option is to allocate money that we are willing to lose , when you have that control I think that you are free from many problems and it's the best for everyone, that's my advice so that things never get out of control and obviously if you lose the money that you are willing to lose, then don't put more until another day, or for another game session that obviously shouldn't be right there.

You are right because Hobby can be anything, so long as it makes the person happy and they continues doing it with passion of course it could be regarded as a hobby, however people has different things they considered to be there hobby but the most common are football, traveling and reading, in football almost everybody find it very entertaining either watching or playing. However is very sad that what majority of people regard as there hobby is actually the thing that is given them problem, just like you said gambling has been the hobby of most people but they are actually abusing it into gambling too aggressively. Though for me football, reading and traveling is my hobby.

But if you thinks using gambling as a hobby can gives you pleasure, you may thinks twice because that can makes you spends much money. You will not knows how to stops your habit playing gambling and not thinks that you actually have many activities you can do to gets pleasure.

You should use gambling as something that can fills your free time but not use it too often because that can gives you many problems. You must limits your time when playing gambling so you will not lose much money.

We should have the other hobby besides of using gambling for a hobby which will be safe for us and can stay away from the gambling addiction. We must remember that gambling can tempts us easily and forgets that we must take care and carefully when playing gambling.

Whatever that can give you the kind of pleasure you want can also be used as a hobby. If gambling is your hobby does not mean that you will gamble excessively because that will lead to addiction and huge losses. I believe that we all have our jobs that keeps us busy most of the time and there will be limited time for our gambling activities. When you are in your leisure time, you can gamble. You can also gamble once a week or twice depending on how you want it does not mean that you will not be able to discipline yourself. My hobby is traveling but I hardly travel once in a month.

If you don't use gambling as a hobby and you can control yourself, you will be fine playing gambling. You will not have to gets in trouble because you knows the purpose to playing gambling.
You can control yourself while gambling so that will not makes you becomes excessively when playing gambling. That is why we must allocates some money to playing gambling and not use more money if we lose because gambling can tempts us easily.
We can use gambling for have fun which that is the reason why we gambling but we don't playing gambling too long because we knows the risks of playing gambling.
