Basically, gambling is a risky activity, but gambling will not be too high risk or have a bad impact if someone treats it in the right way, such as not exceeding their ability which is often suggested by many people here.
This means that I think it is clear that gambling can only have a bad impact when a gambler comes with the wrong mindset and method, such as wanting to make a lot of money for example, but when you gamble moderately in the sense of not exceeding your ability by only betting the minimum amount according to the money you can afford to lose every time you gamble, then I think gambling will not have too bad an impact.
I want you to know that there are some people in the society that will never agreed to what the society think. Their own perception and beliefs is what they used to judge people and their society. I hope you know that gambling is a sin to some religion people, so there is nothing to will say that will make you change their mind and perception about gambling, if they see you doing gambling they see you as a bad person before they and their believe.
As an individual, what people think about my gambling lifestyle is none of their business because is what I believe and I know that I'm not addicted. If at some point I become addicted, there are people that will tell me and I will listen to them because they will never lie to me when it comes to gambling. The society really need to adjust to the way things are rapidly changing.
