I actually see ethereum as the best altcoin to hold as it occupies the second position in the coin market. This shows that the project is solid and has gained the trust of a huge number of people. I would rather invest in ethereum than several other altcoin with lesser market capitalisation.
To me, Ethereum is a safe choice and has great growth potential. The simple reason is that ETH has experienced a history of constant growth and huge trust creation. That also proves why all projects choose to build on the ETH platform. The upcoming Shanghai upgrade is very promising. Just buy and hold ETH

as much as I favour ethereum over the other alts in general for investments vitalik as the CEO doesn't have that much influence and relevancy towards ethereum, ethereum become such good investments because it was the first smart contract blockchain ever, so I guess vitalik has no relevancy in this regard but yes, investing in eth is good decision. moreover their CEO Vilatik is a very successful and genius person for developing Ethereum projects in the future,

ethereum is an altcoin that has potential so many people are interested in it. besides that ethereum also has the opportunity to increase its value in the future even though there are many other altcoins that compete with it. for investment options I think it's very good if you put your money in ethereum. Well I don’t value many Altcoin and that is for sure especially those low cap coins that are filling up the cryptocurrency market on a daily.
Ethereum is far better than those altcoins and if I ever have to invest in Altcoin it would definitely be either Ethereum or any other top Altcoin because they have great market record.

I have said it before up there. 
In spite of the fact that Bitcoin is the best option on the market, many newbies still find a way to ignore it because they believe that it cannot give them big profits, which is a common mistake that newbies seem to make among themselves. Might the fees be too high which most traders don't like but I still see huge support from the community making this project will remain strong despite the negative news and feedback that we heard. In fact, it turns down after moving from POW to POS system but fortunately, it rises back together with Bitcoin.

ETH price is still very cheap compared to the old ATH and the potential it brings, I believe ETH can touch $10k or $15k in the future, so invest in ETH now.
