For alts that has a strong background it is good time but for some alt coins the time can be their destruction time. It seems below 7k can be seen nowadays...
I've been doing some reading lately and willing to invest a small amount into altcoins but not sure is it the right time to buy now. Shall I wait any longer?
All those reds actually mean that we can start with our picking and scoop up those coins/alts! I’d reckon that a recovery/correction will happen in two or three months from now. It is advisable to make those purchases before the charts starts going green! A small amount to start with is wise. Get a feel of the market first until you get a hang of it before going all in. Lots of luck!

It is good to buy some alts especially those who are in a very low price but make a keen research if that alts you are planning to buy has big potential to boom in the future. Try to check its social media if the developers are active and also in their telegram channel. In that case you can create an idea is that coin is good for a long term investments or short term.

for me its yes .this is a right time to invest or buy altcoin because the value of altcoins now are very cheap. maybe after chinese new year they will recover and the value of altcoin will pump again.

For me, the right time to buy some coins is now, now that their prices are so much lower than its original price, buying coins now means having to get your hands with more coins in a much lower value, when the time came that their prices are on an up trend again, you will be happy that you bought coins now, when its prices are high again, then you will enjoy the fruit of your investments.
Hard to say right now because coins are still dropping. I bought some altcoins a few days ago and those coins have continued to drop.

If you have got quite a lot money to invest, that's the best time to buy, only because the market is so low. Probably, the reason why bitcoin is low right now is because the chinese happy new year coming, so the miners are buying presents for their's families). But to be serious, there is some news again from china about ico and we have a chance to buy altcoins, because that's not serious news, the price of BTC will go up again, no wories about that.
It depends on the Alt coin which You going to buy.there is a slight chance all Alts can go down further. But for long term You can buy Alts atm at a great discount than they were in 2 months ago.
