when legends on this forum help to preach FUD on bitcoin, then I wonder where our consolation will come from. Reading the news lately shows strong indication of a positive move in the coming year towards a mass adoption and funding in the space. It will be so steady and manipulation will be relaxed. Since a lot of money had been moved from the space this year, more mainstream investors will pump more fund after some legal approval in the early part of the year. Every process is planned and the worst predicted price is $3000 which we are yet to reach. I expect the worse now and lets quickly get over it.

The crypto market is always changing and this is familiar to me. There is no reason for the decline of Bitcoin. Do not worry about this because Bitcoin has gone from zero to $ 20k and now I find its value is still very high. Believe in Bitcoin.

Everyone says we are not into 'capitulation' yet...  I think 4200 is pretty much 'capitulated'.

Bitcoin will still last and it is very unlikely that it will end, bitcoin will return to normal but it will take a long time, and I will still wait for it.

I think that the game isn't over for btc as it is going to be the winner and it will definitely be the leader for long. I think that it is going to rule the market for some time and in the nearest future it will replace other currency

I don't think so. It hasn't been over.
Maybe we can say that it is still on proces.
When we throw back on the journey price of bitcoin,
It has increased year by year. I think it is part of price game. It will be back yo the rising price.
Even it will take very long time.

Do not continue there, bitcoin just started. It has given way to a revolution and to a whole people behind. Rich and not so rich, but they are interested in bitcoin still alive, even to some banks.

The crypto market stated taking a nose dive from when some people discovered that There are more faster and cheaper ways of 'creating' our bitcoin compared to mining.

1. ICO: Several people created shit coins which were promoted as the next big thing. We freely gave them our precious asset in exchange for shitcoins.

2. Fork: Another word for fork is buy one, get two or even three

They do this by capitalizung on the slightest disagreement to create a clone of bitcoin, then dump it in the market and smile home with our bitcoin.

3. Ponzi schemes: No point over emphasising this. Many of us have been victims one time or the other.

I think regulation is what will save the crypto space....

But before then, apply whatever legitimate strategy at your disposal to earn and accumulate bitcoin.

I dont think its game over as yet and we are not into capitulation yet. It cannot capitulate while everyone thinks and is ready to accept that bitcoin will go to 3k or even 1k capitulation is when the majority thinks its dead 6 feet under. for example, big countries banning bitcoin under the criminal act, or a big attack on the blockchain that fucks up the network, I dunno something really really bad.

Bitcoin is perfectly fine. We are still 4x-5x from the "first" ever bitcoin boom.

Plain and simple. This retracement is allowing for another opportunity for those who missed out to jump on before the inevitable.

As long as there is volume, bitcoin will continue to be successful, it may be that we have a bad year, like this, but that does not mean the end of the blockchain, maybe the speculative market in which it is down, but as long as there are people who trust in technology, we should not have problems.

none of them can be sure of what the crypto currency will be because the development of the crypto currency depends on the investor itself

What do you mean by that? The investors decides the development of Bitcoin? That doesn't make sense since they are just investing on it. The people who will be doing the developing, the development of something is the developers. They have the knowledge and can improve more their products. The development of Bitcoin will be based on what may happen in the future.

Why game over? Btc price in 2016 was just $500-600

This.

Also, the prices are stable at the moment, they are going down, but it is not that bad.

If you are smart enough, you would wait a little bit more and try to buy when it goes deeper, that is the best thing that you can actually do.

There is no rush to sell now

There is no such thing as game over when it comes in bitcoin. Game over is only for the people who lose their trust in bitcoin. A lot of things and disaster happened in bitcoin back 2009 when it was discovered but look at it right now, bitcoin still surviving. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and it will never fall even there is whales that wanted it to crash.

Of course the game is not over and like you have mentioned people trust plays a major role when deciding the future of bitcoin because there is a huge impact to its price and usability through its users and today even majority of people are uncertain still there is a significant amount of potential investors who has invested in bitcoin seeking it will regain its price back so no one can say the game is over for bitcoin yet

the game for bitcoin is not over. it's just the beginning of the next stage of growth both the price and usage. it's too early to bury bitcoin.

I agree the game is far from over for bitcoin but the news we see is very different from the reality because today people are making predictions without any solid reasons and destroying bitcoin's image in front of the general public but none of them cannot stop bitcoin until it's users keep hold there tokens and be patient while increasing its adaption into more practical scenarios in the common day to day life and that is happening right now in a higher rate so the game is not yet over for bitcoin

Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money.

Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? Huh
It's not yet over mate, this current situation are just a part of cryptocurrencies concept that it would goes this dip and rise up again.Eventhough we don't know what the future holds on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but almost everyone here sees bitcoin as the future..because this is the product of high technology that become more trendy eventhough its dipping.

I don't think this is a game over for Bitcoin and cryto, generally. The lower it goes, the more people will buy it in hopes for it to reach 20k again. It will probably find a balance somewhere between 1000 and 2000.

For now Btc needs to increase its adoption rate, even if this would mean that the price to stabilize at much lower values as the one people were used to see in late 2017, yearly 2018.

Every time the same story, give the Bitcoin dead, they say the price has collapsed, " August 1, 2010 price $ 0.06 - today $ 4357.41" eh, yes, the price has just collapsed. Grin
