It will not be best to say it is Game over. To investors who met BItcoin at $200,$500,$1000 it still normal and even if it goes back to this prices they will not be panicked, but new investors see it as game and all hope is lost, just be patient like the first investors because Bitcoin is here to stay.

Honestly, I have never seen an investment place that has ended. If there is, maybe someone can equate the characteristics of the end of an investment place. This decline in bitcoin prices from month to month in 2018 provides a negative view of every investor, especially new investors. Those who have started investing since ATH in December may experience huge losses, even most of their money will run out. But I often see the opinion of people who have known and invested in cryptocurrency from a few years ago that the decline in bitcoin prices this year has happened before, and this is what makes me sure that cryptocurrency will recover.

Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money.

Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? Huh

Actually this is the most hardest question thats we always heard now, thats bitcoin would been end,but my own specific answer of this question is depend on the person or the investor on how they handle the current bearish situation in the market now, otherwise we could not neglect that many people now thats belong in crypto currency investment  have been tired of waiting when back the prosperous moment of those happen same last year thats everythings in crypto become progressive and profitable.

This is a playback of 2014-2015. In 2016 bitcoin began to rise again, slowly. And in 2017 we all know what happened.
Tim Draper opinion is, $250k per BTC in 2023.

So, no, not game over for bitcoin, whatever may happen in the short term.

High fluctuation always happen in cryptocurrency market and its always happen in bitcoin too. I dont think it will be game over for bitcoin, it will bounce back soon. Market always recovery and bitcoin price will reach highest price again in near future
well, today there is a decline in prices again. even though there is still a decline today, this cannot be said as the end of bitcoin, because this is only a matter of price. well, I'm sure in the future this will recover.

There will be nothing like game over for Bitcoin. What do you call it when Bitcoin rises to $20K? It is still Bitcoin when the price drops. This is one of the intrinsic features of crypto. There are times when the market goes down to allow new investors to enter the scene where they can buy some of the valuable coins at low price and once the price spikes, makes profits for themselves. We should learn to understand this fundamental principle. The market will definitely recover.

OP, I wonder how long you have been on the market and how long have you owned bitcoins?
I see from your posts that you know about Bitcoin since 2014. Does such a market situation really affect you so much? I think that you are not one of those who bought Bitcoin for $ 10,000-20,000, so it’s very surprising to me that you lost faith in Bitcoin.
You must understand, large investors sold their bitcoins in December 2017, then they played well all year round, pulling out money from inexperienced newbies. Now it's time for them to get their bitcoins back at low prices, thats why now we see this situation.
In addition to all the clowns from Bitcoin cash staged (most likely also planned) for all the super show, which negatively affects the price of Bitcoin.
And the price reversal will be when people like you, those who hold Bitcoin over the years, lose faith and start selling their Bitcoins. I think this is the plan of whales  .
So don't become one of those who will be overboard of the ship at a time when Bitcoin starts a bull run.

No word has been finished for bitcoin. As long as bitcoin is still fluctuating, bitcoin will continue and develop. If there are no more fluctuations in Bitcoin, it can only be said to be bitcoin game over

Bitcoin price is testing our patience. It's true the year 2018 have been very tough until now for investors due to FUD, Panic sell it doesn't mean the game of bitcoin is over. Just sit back, Relax and wait for the next ride.

Sometimes there is a wind and now its a storm but nothing last for ever, look for better coins or hold on to the ones you have. Best time to explore as the ones its gonna rise you can multiply from your initials.

Bitcoin isn't the one that should be blamed for people's greed, because the price in no shape or form reflects the utility of Bitcoin, just people's greed.

It actually surprises me that you bring this up, because when I look at the date you registered your account, you (in case you are still the same account owner) very likely have seen the market tank below $200 back in early 2015. Back then people said it's game over as well, and here we are. It's just another cycle we are going through.

$20,000 versus the various correction scenarios.

80% = $4000
85% = $3000 (my guess based on technical ball analysis)
90% = $2000

We're getting there.

Agree. If you're really a long time hodler you've most probably bought in the below $200 mark or maybe you sold it at a profit then bought again in the $4k or when the hype in like 8k price and up. True believers and baggers just sit back and relax as they understand market conditions like this happen and this is the perfect time for them to buy more.

Its not Game Over yet with Bitcoin. Not because we have seen price of Bitcoin plunge to $4,500 it means it will continue to drop until value reaches zero. Where we're you last July 5 and 6 2015 when price of Bitcoin dropped from $266 to $157? That's a 40% drop in value in just 24 hours and yet we are still here holding. Relax and just enjoy the ride.

Game Over when we're still not yet at 90%? I would worry at that, so 1999 will be the price that gets me a little scared. But I'll know from the past others have been through that it's a cycle that's happened before and will definitely happen again, but maybe with more years in between. Everybody talks about experience and yet they're still not prepared when the old stories come round again. Glad to be in my first bear. Stories for everybody to share in a few years from now!
I agree with you, we can say that bitcoin is just a video game there is a time that we enter a easy level but sometimes there are some level that is much harder but still we are just pushing ourselves and the bitcoin to conquer it and to become the bitcoin we want it to be.

I hope that the game isn't over because i bought some btc and hope that they will bring me good profit. To my mind, it is better to get btc now when it has a good cost which is lower than usual. I advise to get ether as well

This is a shake down for the Crypto world, in gain for exchanging their currency. Which will be returned back from your investment Via main flow chain. The coins which will survive this shake down later on will be classified and may be approved as a currency, as it showed how strong it can be when the economy changes whether it's real currency or Crypto.

I want to elaborate on the points to get you to understand how bitcoin is here to stay.

Why are governments cracking down on cryptocurrency?
It is inevitable that cryptocurrencies are the future of payment. For the past few years, bitcoin has made it's mark as a medium of peer to peer decentralized payment system. It is fast, secure and cost less. The government crack down is because of control, not that bitcoin is not good.

Hacks.
Like the government, hackers are aware that people have moved their money into cryptos. Being a new technology that is evolving, there are so many loose ends and they are exploiting such. One of the reasons for government crack down is for exchanges to tighten security on the platform to guarantee assets are safe.

Institutional investors are exploring ways to come into cryptocurrency. Big names are creating departments to handle blockchain related issues.

These are not indication of a dying bitcoin.

What is "normal"? do you men will it be like past?
I dont believe that it will "normal"soon, the larger scale downtrend is on again and this is even without any big negative catalyst which is just ridiculous for me.
