Most of the time, campaign managers don't have the funds. Meaning, the developer team itself holds the funds. They are the one who will distribute the tokens to all the participants. But it is unusual that payments will take 6 months. Most of the time it will just take 1-2 months. Since the ICO process is not regulated, the problems with the delay in the payment of tokens after the ICO completion do exist. There are many such examples. Participation in signature campaigns is reminiscent of a gambling game, where the win does not depend on us. However, do they tell you why and when exactly, can you ensure that it is not a scam or If the announcement is clear, never worry about it, just be patient and wise for the distribution.

Its not sure , all depend on the management of bounty program. The fastest times to receive bounty reward is 1 month after ICO finished but if wait until 6 month that is not normal, that mean the team of the project not really have good management. Many bounty hunter only live from reward of bounty program so the reward should be pay within 30 day after ICO finished.

based on my experience I received a reward bounty range of 2 weeks to 2 months after the ICO period, usually it was informed in the group. try to ask again in the official group, approximately until when you have to wait for your reward acceptance.

I agree with you that sometimes, it takes 6 months or even more to get a bounty reward or token (which can be a normal thing) but its not all bounties that are like that. It all depends on the ICO project and whether they reach their hard cap or soft cap.

I think it is normal if they let you know ahead of time, but if they told you afterward that it would take six months that is quite unfair. After all, you did put in your time and effort.

Mostly its not normal, but the question is: did ICO end? If yes, forget about this bounty, they scam participants and, who knows, may be investors too. If ICO is ongoing thats normal, cause they can go during 6 and even 9 month

Yes 6 months is still not a sentence. The main thing is not to wait in vain .Since you need to know what kind of product they have ,whether they have their own blockchain chain and so on.And at all that rozvivaet this project

Six months is too long to wait for token distribution. It can take 6 months to run the campaign from private sales to main sales, and that is even quit not normal but is accepted, if the soft cap is not reached and the team decides to postpone it.

Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?
from 0 to a year. so half a year is normal.

Good company bounties pay out coins a month after the end of the ICO.  Therefore, it is not normal to wait for payment for so long.

6 months that's too long to wait maybe that is scam ICO, normally from bounty campaigns waiting 1 or 3 months to get your reward, but 6 months don't expect that you will get your reward and just move on to another bounty campaign

This is not normal, unless it is stipulated by the terms of the rewards. I know the project where the reward to bounty hunters and to team is paid within a year. If you do not receive tokens for a long time, you may need to examine the terms of payment.

Six months to wait for payment is a very long time.  Good company bounties pay out coins a month after the end of the ICO.  Sometimes earlier and based on my experience, one month is the longest time I spent waiting for my reward. Sometimes its fast like 1 to 2 weeks. Also it is indicated in the bounty campaign rules the date of the release of the token. If they continuously changing the schedule and always making some lame excuses, most probably its a scam.

the name we try to get a payment that can be profitable. so to wait 6 months is long. but if the result is satisfactory no problem. I have not got anything here yet. because I'm here just plunge into BTC world.

Well I think it's a scam bounty. Most likely the rewards are paid usually within 1 month or most likely at most 2 month. If within 6 months you don't get tge reward then undoubtedly it's a scam.
I think there should be a planning for scam bounties in this forum. Because day by day this scammer are growing.

There are different situations. One company can be credited a few days after the ICO, and there are some that do not come in a few months. On average, I receive payments in a month

Most of the bounties are paid in 1-2 months.

I think if after the end of the bounty 6 months have passed, then you will not get a coin.  Most likely it was a scam company or the company did not reach the soft cap.

It would be normal if it had been set like that by the team. Not all bounty projects can be generalized, because it all depends on the policy set by each project team.  As a participant, we must follow the existing path, if it is not in accordance with the rules set, we can protest but in a good way, the purpose is to ensure when the reward will be distributed. Be an elegant bounty hunter Smiley
I agree, it mostly depends on the actual project.
But, guys, what are the reasons to NOT wait if the project is worth enough?
