Absolutely not. Sounds scammy. Take a second look at the project, please. I also participate in bounty programs and I consider maximum three months as a normal period to get the reward but usually, rewards should get paid within one month.

Anyway, you always should ask your bounty manager or look into the bounty thread for information. Also, you should check campaign distribution rules.

Do not die for Putin
There is a tendency to mistreat bounty hunters and that would be another example of this. It is just ridiculous that the people that make your project great are treated like beggars. A real marketer should know better.

Every project has it own rules for bounty hunters but waiting six months for a bounty campaign is way too long. 2 weeks to 3 months is even better.

correct me if i'm wrong but usually bounty campaign running only less than 6 months and normally 3-4 month before participant get paid but indeed overall it depend on which bounties program you're joined but as long as those bounties campaign were legit and they pay with decent amount for their participants i think people can accept long term campaign

I only participate in campaigns that usually last one to three months. The 6 month campaign as you join it, I think it's a long time and not sure you will be paid from ICO.

No, it is not. Most bounties pay 15 to 30 days after the ICO is finished, to avoid the initial dump that is usually atributed to hunters, but it is all right. 6 months... that´s only for advisors and teams.

To think about how much time has passed from ICO before receiving a reward for bounty is a waste of time! It's better to start new bounties!

So, Beluga Pay will distribute bounty reward during a year.  May be they do it because bounty hanters strongly dump price. I don't see another reason for it.
So, bounty hunters really really reduce the price of the coin, but the year is very long. For example, the company Lympo distributed its tokens to bounty hunters for a month limited quantities and this did not inflate the price of the token.

Very long delays are unacceptable, they emphasize the irresponsibility of the project. I can not influence projects, I just need to wait for payments.

In recent months, the times for receiving the tokens of the bounty campaigns have lengthened a lot. Last year I received my tokens usually after 1-2 months, now they spend even more than three months, for some bounty campaigns I have been waiting for five months, and in these cases I have not yet understood if there are valid reasons, and if in the end I will receive the compensation for my work

Of course, 6 months is relatively long, but it's good that you will be paid this award at all, because we know how difficult it is to choose a good project or a bounty company who collect the planned amount and pay the earned tokens.

Six months is not relatively long. It is very, very and unusual long. I am hoping for happy end, but will be very suspicious after four months.

Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?

I totally agree with you on this OP. With all my past campaigns, i still haven't received any tokens. So many reasons, one say that they haven't reach the soft cap, the other not enough volume to be listed on exchange, etc. So tired of waiting but still hopeful that i will receive those tokens. I wish.

Some bounty campaign gave token after a week or two but the value is too small, no choice but to wait and continue to apply for another campaign that's the cycle of bounty it's just a matter of mind conditioning and understanding of the forum.

Six months is too long to wait for token distribution. It can take 6 months to run the campaign from private sales to main sales, and that is even quit not normal but is accepted, if the soft cap is not reached and the team decides to postpone it.

I think the problem is not with managers, but with the project team. Unfortunately, bounty hunters are not immune from deception. The team always writes a condition that they can change the rules at their discretion ... You can wait and half a year, a good salary. But as practice shows, if such problems start, then there will be no good profit.

Waiting for long for the reward is not unusual. I experienced the same but the reward was not as much as what stated on the bounty distribution. I received just the half of it like other participants. Even the project done successfully, the reward for the campaign is not good which give less profit for now but I know the project will be useful even for the future and the coins are good to hold because it has the potential to grow in the market.

6 months is a bit long. Although if it was stated as the case from the start, at least you knew what you were getting into.

A red flag would be a bounty that stated rewards would be released immediately, then they go quiet for 6 months.

Every project has different rules.Normally I was getting tokens after approximately one month, but as I know one ICO-Beluga Pay has announeced that bounty-hunters will receive their reward in 6 and 12 months Shocked Some projects dont pay anything, like Centra, because the are scam  Undecided

Yes, I joined this bounty and they clearly mentioned in their whitepaper that bounty distribution will be done after 6 months and some after 12 months. Imagine how long it will take. Anyway, it was their noted from the beginning, to those who agree can join and to those who don't agree can ignore it.
