Possible but very unlikely. If perhaps they did create it, it wouldn't make sense to not support your own work. Also, the government has substantial amount of influence on banks. So if the assumption they created bitcoin were true, they just shot themselves in the foot since we all know that on of the main reason for bitcoin's existence is for decentralization to prosper.

Not sure why this thread is being made or being shitposted at but it is very well known that the real Satoshi - whoever or whatever it was is still a mystery and they went AWOL a long time ago. Even today nobody knows how they are or where they are. I think its better this way because the only human who was knowing about bitcoin from scratch was removed by their own decision. If they would have been public then they would be the target of many people in the world.
Its like financial responsibility. If you take money into bitcoin you are responsible for it. Not satoshi and not anyone else.
This has long been debated and I don't think that some government agency will claim responsibility. I do believed it was really created by Satoshi, whether individually or by the help of other programmers that time. And there's no conspiracy from behind, just saying.

He is a great programmer, he is a genius who thought about making Bitcoin, inventing the Blockchain. He is far to be a government since he made Bitcoin a decentralized crypto currency. If he is from the government, then he will be making it a centralized crypto currency, not a decentralized one. It will not be a volatile crypto but a stable one.

From the forum posts of Satoshi it is cent percent clear that Satoshi is the one who created the bitcoin. Even after that as the personality is unknown to the world, quite often some crypto people term themselves as Satoshi.
This is still unknown whether was it a person or institution or might be even government has created to meet some of the needs across the globe and cannot reveal that due to which the identity or owner is still kept secret. Thus this is still a mystery.

It may be true or not. what government are you talking about? countries have different governments and parties and we cannot give such a general opinion.I think bitcoin is created by a black organization and has many shady activities for our society. it gets bigger and bigger when it has full control of Bitcoin prices.

Its a theory, and we can make theories anytime we want to. If government created bitcoin then we must be more happy because it is being backed up by great institutions and we can ensure the bright future, but many investors believes that government has no involve on creating bitcoin since its main purpose is to be decentralized. Whatever it is, I’m hapy that bitcoin was invented in this century and we are able to experience it. 
'Government' is an extremely wide ranging term. It's one thing to have a NSA project slipped out by a few weirdos without their own master knowing. Quite another to have all of the shape shifting lizards meeting in their golden bunkers and making it so.
I think it's quite possible its creation came from state employees. The only thing left over from that that still matters is them owning a high percentage of the coins. Beyond that they don't have any more control than you or I. That's the joy of open source.

Governments usually get elected by the people. People usually vote for whoever talks to them most and who they know and who they trust.
Politicians spend insane amount of money just to get heard so they can say what they want to say to them and honestly it is not a shock that usually whoever spends the most money gets heard the most as well. Which means companies also pay the politicians so that both politicians can get heard more using that money and get into a position of power and also companies can get their own preferred laws from the government because they paid them.
Hence, it means that companies rule the country most of the time because of the money they fund the politicians with and expect a greater return. When a system like this exists, why would the government create bitcoin since it is counterproductive for them.

I don't think so, bitcoin has any relation to government or whatsoever, we all know where and how bitcoin started. If it is self government created why would some other country banned it if they know it will help each government the way it was made. on the contrary its not..its decentralized and has it own system and governing.

right, bitcoin was created one for all. of course it must get approval from all countries, but I think it will be very difficult, considering there are still many countries that have not received it with various obstacles in their country. we know the government wants to take a role, but not for btc
This has to be one of the worst theories about the origins of bitcoin. Although satoshi is unknown he clearly isn't related to any government, if anything he is anti-government and wants to bring them down

Maybe yes. Bitcoin can be a beta version of a more perfect digital currency to be created in the future. The future money will be pushed forward after changing features that could cause problems. It can also be a way for these community to focus.
