I do not think that it is risky. . Just look at the idea and the team and then decide about buying or not. All cryptoes are risky, but buying new coins that have not entered the top 100 cryptocurrencies is at higher risk. but if you know the coins are good, and have a good product and future, then buying such coins will be very profitable. which is important we must be clever to choose coins that do not enter the top 100 cryptocurrency coins. There are many good coins that not need to be in top100 due usage cases and they also can be in top100 when theu hot roadmap end-point or bring working product
we can't say anything in crypto because the crypto is totally risky things so if your luck is bad then you may also scammed even investing in top 100.
I think at the moment you should not invest in the top 100 of the Cryptocurrency market but only invest in the top 20 of the market. With the coin under the top 100, the biggest risk is that these coiners do not have a good future. They are not paid too much attention by investors. But to say that investors are not paying too much attention is a good thing for some new coin to be developed well.
It's at a great risk to invest on not top 100 crypto currencies, there is know idea that it could be of a great interest to the investors, so don't try it
I would buy top 100 coins with part of my funds for the stability. However I would Take part of my funds and buy some high quality but riskier coins. Your in crypto. Part of your funds should be spent going for the big one. Take a chance!

With the market been unstable while almost all crypto currency market are experiencing some dump in price, it very risky but knowledge is the instrument needed in overcoming the risky and getting a better result out of investment this days cause the cryptocurrency is totally changed.
i think yes you have a higher chance to loose money because there is a lof ot shitcoins that worth nothing and were made just because of peoples greed.
Yeah, the smaller coins are more volatile. May be worth buying some at these prices though, if bitcoin starts to go up they should moon big time.
Yes, I strongly advice against it. And those who know what they're doing and invest in it usually only do so for short time means, hoping on an initial value spike and hop off as soon as they make first profit. Better to invest in top 10 coin
Depends on coin you are going to buy, some of them are really risky. Im trying stay away from coins not in top 100, but I have few for long term holding. Make deep research before investing

You do not need to worry too much about this. Because most of the Altcoins in the crypto market are impacted by prices, you do not have to worry about the price of Bitcoins going down. 
Furthermore it is risky to buy not the top 10 cryptocurrencies. And even top 10 can make 0.1 X from your holdings))But you don't lose if didn't sell
A very interesting question. I did not even think about this aspect. I think it's everyone's business and if you are allowed the amount of investment to make such a deal, then please. And yet it depends on how long you are willing to wait until the moment when your capital will grow from those coins that are not included in the 100 altcoins?
It had a high market cap and it was inside the top 100 but many people in the forum have been saying it was a scam for a very long time and this came from some of the most reputable members of the community and yet people did not listen to them and they lost their money as a result of that, so even when you invest in some of the coins with the highest market caps you still need to research the coin before investing.

There is advantage in investing in the top rated cryptocurrency, but there are also emerging cryptocurrency that are Worth investing on example: TMT (Traxia ) BobRepair etc .
It is also risky even if you buy in the top 100 crypto currencies, its just that there is a big chance that you will always win when you invest in the top 100 coins rather than not in the top.
Yes, it is a risk but if you buy a new altcoins that are not in the TOP 100 yet then you can earn a lot of money. If we look at the EOS we will see that this is a new token and people which had invested at first earned quite well.
i believe all crypto still under value right now. So if you buy any altcoins at top 100, it's a good invesment for future. But i think you need to hold it for a while since market don't give a recovery sign yet. Maube need a couple months before you can see a good profit.

Investors who choose the top 100 companies understand the risk they can get, but they also know that altcoin in addition to the top 100 can be very profitable, much better than the top 100.
Not necessarily, this only shows that the risk is relatively larger. But maybe you have chosen a group of dark horses so you can get rich.
And I would not advise investing in anything other than bitcoin. The market is very heavily rising from the bottom. Above us is the probability of another collapse.
