ICO offer cheap token price and also sometimes there are any bonus, so will be promising high profit after listing on exchange. But it would be risky if it happened instead the token price is cheaper than ICO price. And will be more risky  if the project fails and the token not listed in any exchange. So to get profit from ICO investment depends on the how to analyze the ICO, which must be done before investing in ICO ,like to know the profile of the team founder, they are should be solid and proffesional and also should be understand the purpose of the project and what problems to be solved by reading the their white paper

I think it's safe. I don't think bitcoin forum allows the scammer to enter in this site but I'm not so sure. Maybe you must study first the ICO the you want to join. So be careful in choosing an ICO.

ICO that are based on smart contract Erc 20 on Ethereum platform are safe! In other words, you can rarely lose your money because the moment you send your money to designated contract, you should get your token instantly if it it design so. However, the value the market will place on those ICO token are different issue!

It would depend on the project, if the project is solid then it could be worth the investment but make sure to spend time and research well before investing.

For the love of god there is nothing that is safe to do in this world. You can't even guarantee that you will get back home safe and sound of stepping out of it. If you are looking forward to invest in ICO's, I suggest that you should do a through research about its team, whitepaper and how the team is corresponding with the community.

Investing in ICO is a good thing but there are pitfalls. Some might just be shitcoins and some are just avenues for them to make money and later abandon the project. It all depends on the devs so always do a follow up and read everything readable. The hard part is following your gut.

i think its safe but you need to make sure that the ico have a good project by reading their whitepaper and asking if you don't understand. this is important if you want to invest your money to them because you want to make profit with them so base in their whitepaper, you can know the project is worth for your money or not.

There are so many scam ICOs but there are also really professionals who live depending on you in choosing ICO who is working with DEV for the management of a project that is running. look for information through the media that discusses about ICO so that you are not wrong in choosing ICO to invest in a project. you should continue to monitor every project that is being developed and working with ICO and it can be your way to choose ICO that is not a scam. I myself have experienced an error when I invest the crypto I have that is managed by ICO and ultimately I also got a loss. based on the experience I have experienced now I will be more careful in choosing ICO so that I do not experience a mistake a second time.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

Yes it's safe but you need to check their ANN thread first and look at the project and their team. I think you can see their seriousness in the project, also don't forget to join their slack or telegram to find the newest update about the project. I usually do that all before I invest my money into an ico.

Depends on your risk tolerance and how big bankroll you got. For the most part however I would say ICOs are no good. I would prefer a premine that does distribution via airdrop. A coin like DeepOnion, Byteball, or Bitcore.

Investing on ICO is no longer safe because most ICO companies after the sale of the price are heavily destroyed below the price of ICO. I suggest to think to investing there or maybe prefer ICO that has the best grade.

I think it will be very difficult for a new coin to be the next currency, unless he's really a big and very mature project, but there are some pretty good progresses, like domraider, aventus, and stk

You should keep in mind that not all new ICO prospects are safe, try to collect most information about its origin and to be able to analyze thus the veracity of the investment. For this I recommend you take into account; Who are the members of the team, if the project in GitHub is updated and the amount to be collected from the project.

fisrt you must see the development team first, and then see the project and price then you can join ICO

agree with you, the first thing I see in ICO is usually the development team. if the team is a solid developer, good work and have a good response, and have a profile that can be trusted, optimist project is quite safe

It is depend on ICO on which you have joined because no one can guarantee of its success if we join them! There are only few ICOs that become success and other is just average and some are scam so before investing on ICOs be sure to research first on their background and team behind the project.
