Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
nothing is perfect so you need to learn carefully about what you invest to

Exactly, we have to learn everything before investing in to specific company because without learning and understanding we can't simply keep investing into unknown project. What ever the question you have you can ask in thier media channel to understand more about the company.

No. ICOs are very risky if you don't know how to properly analyze them. The team needs to be (for the most part) working full time on the project, the developers need verifiable blockchain experience, and the ICO marketcap needs to be reasonable, and that barely scratches the surface. There are many risks and factors that need to be taken into account upon making the decision to invest in them. This is called due diligence.

All of our reviews are done by members of our community that all work together to form a consensus opinion on the project. We believe that everyone's due diligence is important and our content can prove it. Of course it's not safe, now there are a lot of dubious projects. I advise you to choose very well to study it, try to choose something really working! It is also worth paying attention to what team it consists of, whether or not someone from the team had a positive experience with ICO. And so advice to look at the project https://www.algory.io/ is a set of powerful and multifunctional tools focused on the cryptocurrency market and designed with trading efficiency in mind. Now everyone is trading in a crypto currency, I think this is a very modern ICO and undoubtedly relevant!

Icos used to use escrow for additional security but lately they aren't using it anymore so it's certainly more risky, but as long as you do some background research on their team then you should be fine. Losing your money because the project perform badly is another different problem though.
First there is nothing safe in an investment dude. there is always a risk for every investment you choose including on ico investment and you know that the risks from ICO is they become a scam and then go out without any news. so to make sure you choose the right safe coin and potential you should see things from them through their threads in various forums, great team, good project, clear roadmap, and so on

All investment is a risk. And in the cryptoland the risk is x 1000.
You buy a project. Most of the time, no product, service are in place. They ask funds to create or finalize their  product.
And for now, there is no regulator to control the team, companies.
The project can be a  scam. Sometimes, the roadmap show that we must wait 2/3 years before to have something and finaly maybe that the product will be disappointing ?
I don’t think that an altcoin can be the next btc.

There is never going to be another bitcoin, satoshi did not made an ico in order to raise money to finish the product, that is never going to happen again, however that does not mean there are not good icos out there in which you can invest and make some money if you are able to hold for a long time.

It is my first time joining ICO so I still don't have enough knowledge about ICO's that are existing here. Like you,I am also wondering before if it is safe to participate, so before joining, I do some research and asked my friends who knows well. I found out that it really depends on the ICO,some companies are total scammers. So I suggest, before joining ICO you have to be selective before investing your money.

One should always do his due dilligence before investing in anything. Same goes for ICO's of course. Because the ICO space is not much regulated yet, there is a lot of scams and one really has to be extra careful before investing. If a project shows too many redflags for me, I dont invest in it, even if I like the idea in general. I rather wait and see from the sidelines how things enfold and then maybe buy on the exchange if the project is legit.

So far the ICO is based on contract that spell out the terms of the ICO and if such terms and conditions fit in to your plan, you can go ahead and invest cautiously with the community of such ICO!

Most of the ICO's are profitable as their price would increase on reaching the market.
But some of them are total scams which would lead your investment to nothing.
So, study about the project before investing.

Well if you are asking is it safe or not to invest in an ICO depends on what ICO you invest in. If you are carelessly investing in any of the ICOs then you will most probably lose your money. So, you need to research and know more about the ICO you want to invest in as there are alot of scam ICOs also. If possible you should take other people's opinion about the ICO you want to invest in.If you find it hard to identify the good ICOs you should not invest in them.

every investment is a risk. ICO or real investments, investing in the stock market is all risk. Do not want to gamble, go to the Bank.

It's a form of investment if you invest or participate in the ICO. Now its up to you if you believe to their project, I know there are lot of community here in this field of industry got their profit from the different ico they've join before or even til now they're still doing investing it including myself I just did it as an investment food.

Uhm, I think we should not let the op invest to uncompetent ICO, so instead of letting him do what he believes to invest lets just help him choose the legit and potential ICOs. I'm not into these kind of investments (ICO investment to be exact) I advised that the op should reconsider his decision on investing at ICOs because it can't guarantee your returns or profit.
yeah i agree with this one , choose and research about the ICO , their concept , their team and read the whitepaper and search for their ICO review on youtube or major magazines like forbes or cointelegraph.
great man , i agree , investment at ICO is not guarantee you can get profit from investment at ICO , ICO not promising you will got profit but if you choose a good project ICO , and their token was have a good potential for long term hold , you will get huge profit but not all ICO have a good potential for the token , after their ICO complete , a lot ICO not running their roadmap and make their token was under ICO price and hard for pumping.

If it is authentic and established firm then there is no risk to participate in ICO. But still you should always do your research before you make an investment.
