As Venik suggested altcoins are always risky to invest in it wheather it is bull or bear. Btc is the most secure token for investing due to nature of decentralization while other all coins are fully centralized or semi centralized where risk always found there. Actually we want quick profit and btc is for long term and then we look for altcoins for short profit. altcoins volatility is more than btc which are often suggested for short term investment.

I don't think so. Made a very big mistake of my life and I am still regretting it up till now about what you just said. Concerning new altcoin which I fell o could take advantage of it. I had $30 worth of bit coin and these was a new project that came up and I decide to take advantage of it by investing on it to make profit and return the capital and profit to bicoin, I invested on it and it grew a little with my very eye the coin dropped and drop-off to %70 up till now it has not yet rise again my $30 is just worth%12 so I don't advice anyone to invest in new trending project. They are like trap to suck you dry.

Yes and according to my thoughts besides BTC there is also another alternative called Altcoins and they are here for that. Perhaps it was risky OP and that is why this kind of investment has been known such a thing, can never change. Why? That is because of its volatile nature which is this investment is just for those who can afford to lose their money and of course, risk-takers.
If we are still confused about the profit potential of the market, we better not force ourselves to try because when the hard times come, we only regret and even blame the market. personally, I think it's a preferential stuff, you could choose to do a long term investment into bitcoin while you invest a little amount into an altcoin you feel won't give you serious heart break because like you said, because of the surge and tye frequent fluctuation most alcoin are experiencing on a regular bases, i won't be reason to consider a long term investment especially at this time. But it's more of how you are able to do your analysis and the funds you want to invest into the a coin or bitcoin but whichever you want to invest into, using the right strategy, I doubt you will encounter any loss. But if you're considering a long term investment, then bitcoin is definitely the way to go.

Are you confused between bear and bullish market? Indeed it is ideal to buy during downfall of prices in the market but you have to catch the momentum as well. In general it would be better to buy during and from the start of the bullrun simply because profit will be much anticipated.Also not all of the tokens we would be buying on their lowest market prices, will be guaranteed to increase in bullrun. Some are just considered 'dead' for a reason. If you plan to buy early then prepare to hold and endure market price changes until it recovers.

It would always be risky to invest not only in altcoins but also with Bitcoin. Risk will always be present as long as volatility and issues regarding acceptance as a mode of payment exists.

This is why I like the top names, get 50%+ btc, get 25-30% ETH and get like 10-20% levels of bnb, that's 100% and you just have three. I understand that it may not look promising for BNB at the moment and had some trouble but people are still showing support which means it may do great in the future, so it would be smarter to have a situation where we just end up doing the best we could, keep on trying our best and it would be quite entertaining on the long run when you think about it.

I understand that it is not going to be all that much of a trouble, we need to just focus on the top names. Or, if you really want just bitcoin then that is fine too, there is nothing wrong with having only the bitcoin and nothing more than that.

The risk will not disappear in altcoins; even in bitcoin, it will not disappear in reality. So here, we must accept that the risk is the same as that of cryptocurrency and bitcoin.

That's why investing in altcoins requires intelligence; you can't do it here if you're not smart in the sense that you don't know how to shop for potential crypto assets in this industry. Well, in fact, there are several potential altcoins that you can find in the market today if you only use the dyor in the right way and application.

well, the top 10 coins on CMC are actually the best altcoins to invest in. In fact, while investing in altcoins is risky, investing in the top 10 coins has less risk than the others. Apart from that, many speculate that 2024 is the year when crypto prices will rise, because the halving occurred that year, and based on experience in previous halving years, crypto prices always rise. So, I think that now is a good time to invest in altcoins even with all the risks involved.
