Again it seems that bitcoins recovery has hurt many alt coins, in time I do suspect that alt coins will have another period of strength and growth, I do not know however if that will be soon or in a few months.
I believe that diversifying risks is always an important task for any responsible investor, and this is not the exception in the altcoin market. However, we should be very careful when choosing the altconis that are worthwhile to avoid be guided by impulses or hunches.
But in all cases, investing most of our capital in the safe haven provided by reliable cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin or ethereum will always be a wise decision.

You can keep buying now and hold them. We might not able to get another opportunity for this case. Prices of altcoins can go much further than this. And we may miss the opportunity.

Now that segwit2x is called off, yes, it is really the time and great time to buy altcoins. It is their time to shine because segwit2x killed them before now they should rise.

maybe right now the right time to buy altcoin for investment maybe in the next few months certainly can get benefits in accordance with expectations, and I suggest to buy Ehereum and waves because i think these two altcoin have good potential in its development.
I would suggest to take a look at IOTA. It's almost doubled since a couple of days and it's speculated to be in the 5-20 dollar range next year!

I'd also highly recommend Power Ledger (POWR) before is moons. It's currently at 2x the ICO price, but is likely to grow pretty significantly over the next few months. Also take a look at the Earth Token ICO (see my sig). Both of these projects have real companies, with real products backing them.

Yes you can short term profit form coins. Ethereum is best for it. You can also try with Waves, Stratis, Next, Decent. It good coin and trading volume also good. You can try short term profits from this coins.
You can also try good asset or token. Now Asset or Token also give much better profit from coins. you can try Monaco, MobileGO, Incent, Ethbits. now its low price if you buy and hold for 1 or 2 month you will be much profitable from this asset or tokens.

I think there will finally be an Altcoin-Season again after months of BTC focus only.
The finally altcoin's one most of them green right now Ethereum going very fast just past 320$ its good LTC and Doge is also in green looks like time to check this and have some profit because Cancellation of Sigwit is good for them
It's acutally a great time to buy altcoins. The fork has been canceled, which means that money will easily be flowing towards altcoins (from BTC). BTC had already a great run and made a return of over 600% this years, I think a retrace is expected and money will flow then to alt coins. Ethereum is a good pick if you're looking for something safe, but depending on your risk tolerance you might go for something which is less known, maybe a smaller cap coin or a new ICO which looks promising. Either way you can't really go wrong by holding some of the top ten cryptocurrencies, they have consistently performed well in the last years and it's likely they will continue to do so in the future. Alts are on the rise after the cancelation and we will all finally get a break from horizontal movements.
