There is a lot of news about bounties are scams. But it is just hard to say that, there are fewer scammed bounties than in 2019. l don't think numbers of these can decrease, that is why members of this world are increasing day by day, and it is just a chance for them. It is easy to agglomerate the new members doing their goals.
This year i know some few projects that blossomed that ran bounty. I follow only few managers, and projects with high ranked Bitcointalk member as manager.
You could have given a few examples of such bounty campaigns, which really "blossomed". I couldn't find much in 2019 and I thought that 2020 would be no different. But I am sure that there will be a few good projects coming online once in a while. But the real problem is finding these campaigns, out of the thousands which are listed in the bounty section.
There used to be a lot of bounty scams and I decided not to post them since August 2019. I was very disappointed to see the bounty in 2019. A few days ago I met one of my friends who said that if there are fewer bounty scams now, is that true?

I hope your friends are right and maybe new bounties seem to look legit but that was not enough to evaluate and say that they are no scam anymore. I now decide to join the signature that I use now
We can't deny that some bounties ended their ICO/IEO successfully but wondering why they don't give a chance to excel in the market, instead, they still looked nothing good but just a dead one.
It is truly difficult too difficult and to judge directly to a new and promising look bounty program until it listed in the market. Then there we can say how it strives for the competition and it could play well.

if someone from the beginning of 2020 always did their research well and was always fortunate to join a good bounty they would say if the 2020 bounty was better than 2019. but if on the contrary they would still say 2020 was the same as 2019. and scammers were still hanging around and always will be
There was a lot of good campaign this year and it looks like so many people didn't do deep research. This year is much better than last year consider the market has been recovering again and that's also bringing the demand to run the bounty.
Be in 2018, 2019, or 2020 bounties scam.
During 2018, it was prominent in the forum, bounties who exitscam after icoes, leaving everyone at loss.
Even last year, the bitagro coin also exit scam, and publicly mentioned theirselves to be scam.

We actually have not been able to assess the bounty in 2020, because 2020 has only run until May. So the assessment is not yet
too accurate, but 5 bounties I have participated in this year, only one scams. This proves this 2020 indeed not as bad as the bounty
in 2019, unfortunately this year there hasn't been a bounty that gives big rewards.

We can assess until now, and I'd say bounty is not attractive at the moment, but you are right, we are just going to finish the first half of the year with one month remaining, and there's still a next half to finish, and last time when bitcoin pump, it didn't take half of a year, it only need 3 months and everything went crazy, especially the altcoins market and bounty hunting was a lucrative way of making money that time.

COV-19 is not an excuse for a project not to launch or pay bounty hunters, this means the team are either not serious or are just too lazy to work, if you've already promoted such project just have it in mind that you may never get paid
Many bounties are still bad news, some bounties of today takes time, mostly 7 to 17 weeks so you won't know if a bounty is scam until the campaign is finally over, it's too early to know if a bounty is scam now because not every bounty will pay you instantly, some are even using COV-19 pandemic as excuse
Bounty campaigns that don't pay for reasons of a COV-19 pandemic are a bad campaign and the team is also lazy at work, because they don't look for additional solutions in these circumstances, because if the team is willing to pay they will always look for solutions for that. 
In 2020 a lot of bounty has been listed at the exchange, so I believe we will meet good campaigns and not scams. But there's still no guarantee of that, we need to wait another 1-2 months because most of the campaigns are still ongoing and it's not time to distribution yet.

Why are you listening to your friend you should do your own research, and not depend on your friend's analysis and no I don;t believe there are fewer scam project now, in fact there are still a lot of projects posted in the scam section and these are new projects, so better check all the projects that you are joining. No, scam bounties still exists on this forum, the good thing is bounty hunters are getting smart now, they've learn to look away when they come across shady bounty campaigns, I've seen many good bounty campaigns this year so far which is good but not until bounty hunters starts making good money from these bounties there is nothing much to say about 2020 bounties yet
You're somehow right and i believe bounty scam will ever exist though it maybe little in the future but the bounty manager also have to play a huge part in making bounty campaign like the early 2016 through prefunding rather than chasing after their own cut because the issue of some scam bounty is the mistake from bounty manager ending. 
Airdrops are ending,, bounty ate beginning to end also. The most legit now is social mining.
I disagreed with this statement that airdrop is ending. Airdrop is even more reliable than the bounty that you will spend several months promoting and not get listed in a year after, Airdrop has minimal tasks that you can finish under 30 minutes even though if they don't pay, it is still far better than months of hard work without nothing to show for it. Maybe this friend of yours was very lucky with every bounties he promoted this year?? Many bounties are scam as we all know it and they still exists, don't be fooled, be ready to do research so that you won't be a victim of scam projects yourself I now decide to join the signature that I use now

I think only bounty campaigns are not yet registered at the exchange place, whereas when there are bounty campaigns that have prizes that can be directly sold at the exchange place or the prize is a token or coin that is already available at the exchange, as I am currently participating in a bounty campaigns that have prizes can be directly sold at the exchange place.
