There used to be a lot of bounty scams and I decided not to post them since August 2019. I was very disappointed to see the bounty in 2019. A few days ago I met one of my friends who said that if there are fewer bounty scams now, is that true?
I now decide to join the signature that I use now
Because this year there is so little bounty, so you will not be able to see too many scam projects. I myself have not seen a project that has been truly successful since the beginning of 2020. All are delaying distribution or future scams, we need a bit of time to be able to evaluate it correctly.

You cant really tell that there are few that are scam now.We have just entered the 6 months of the year. I am very sure only few project might have launch and complete bounty campaign by now. while many of them will be waiting on investors to have their token sold, many of them always find it difficult to pay hunters or even proceed with the project when they do not make required token sales and this is the reason they are being termed as a scam

Welcome back to bounty hunting, I'm hoping you'll earn on the campaign you are promoting now.
Actually, the bounty campaign these days are not really profitable, I'm not saying a lot of scams are happening here, but before compared to now, there's a big difference as people are more matured and the competition gets higher, therefore, the best projects will only succeed until before that we can choose a lot of bounty campaign to join while we can expect a good reward afterwards.

Since 2017, many investors left in other areas have because of the great volatility and frequent failures, so now it is easiest to do scam than to spin small projects. Now I check the team much more thoroughly than before. be careful
True, but at the time of 2017 the fraud was still not very much, because almost all projects in 2017 were successful with satisfying achievements, and once entered in early 2018, scammers began to move and many frauds began to occur until now.

there are still many fraudulent projects that have arisen at the moment and I see that the bounty is currently more focused on social media slots. like a gift managed by the BOUNTY DETECTIVE manager
That's a natural thing, because every project also wants to be more quickly recognized by many people, especially investors, so that almost on average the bounty campaign creates more slots for social media so that information can be spread more easily.

I don't know how many bounties turn into scams because I don't follow every news of that, but I think there are many of bounties that scam so far, but we don't know about them. If you want to participate in the bounties, make sure you already read their whitepaper, check their team, or search for more news about the project so you can prevent from the scamming although that will be difficult.

It is too early to think about there are less scammers in ICO industry. In my opinion, still participating in bounty campaigns must be similar to gambling. We may not put all our efforts for it but we can do only in the part-time so that we may not get big disappointment when we will be scammed again in the name of ICOs and its bounty hunting.

My humble suggestion to you is, do not listen to your friend's word. But, you must go for doing your own due diligence which alone will be helping you in a practical world. There could be fewer or many good bounty campaigns are available but how we are going to find them is the biggest challenge in front of us. I believe we can overcome such a challenge only through due diligence. So, take your time for it and find the right bounty for you and enjoy the rewards.

It depends entirely on how smart you are when doing research on bounties, if you are good with research you can easily avoid bad projects but saying scam is now limited? That's not so true mate, I found this under scam accusation section

Bounty is still ongoing for that XTRM project, there are many more bounty projects that are caught as red flag, you need to be careful

It depends on the person choosing the bounty, with the big number of ICOs and IEOs in the market, and only few of them really shine when listed in exchange, that tells us that majority of the projects are just bound to fail, so given the it's legit, but if it will fail, it would still not gonna compensate the bounty hunters for their effort.

Identifying the bounty campaign if it's legit or not might not be hard, but to determine if will be successful, that's the hardest thing.

Well, good luck, hopefully you'll find success on the project you are promoting now.

It's kinda difficult now to identify if such bounties or projects are scam. Because what if you joined on some bounty campaigns and then they are only good in the beginning and they already rewarded the prizes to all participants, but after their Initial Coin Offering(ICO) or Initial Exchange Offering(IEO), they don't have a value of no exchange that is listed the coin you got on the bounty campaign.

thats actually the dilemma in most bounty programs under alts section. and more prob arise when they will credit your share after weeks or months being listed in the exchange. because the price has gone down so bad, the value of your share is not worth selling.

but interested on how the OP's current sig campaign will turn out???

Now you are  being victimized by scams again, because you are wearing a scam project Lol and i am sure you will be disappointed again after that project ends.

Look at the Groups in telegram from some old timer Manager that until now there are still scamming and still majority of them,.

There is no party or service that is counting.  Grin
That's the problem.
We cannot identify if there are more scams than legitimate ones.

Here is one truth though. Up until now, even with the new IEO, they are still having a difficult time to acquire the right amount to continue their projects.
They are not a scam, just cannot continue for the next bump on the road map.

There are fewer that pays.
Choose wisely what bounty you will join or if you have no idea, prepare for the worse.
Still, majority of them has the possibility not to pay the participants.
Or at least pay a little with what they have promised.

Not so true, very few bounties paid this year so far, I heard Hex and Cartesi paid already, 90% of bounties in 2020 haven't paid yet, some postponed payment because of the pandemic and some are scam, you should visit scam accusation here to see for yourself

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
many have been paid, not only HEX and Cartesi, but those projects are not as good as HEX and Cartesi,
in my opinion 70% of bounties in 2020 are paid

We can't justify the statement because there will still continue to be fraud, but now you just choose to follow some projects managed by managers who successfully promote the project just try to see the bounty detective they have several projects that pay, maybe that can be your reference.

Few? Trust me you are gonna find more scam than legit even now. 2020 is a sort of mess, we can really feel how scam bounty grow since then. Most trusted projects that have been launch are mostly scam and only those project held on IEOs can be more trusted, but only few of them releases campaign like cartesi, harmony, tokoin and other ICOs are not really effective now.

Scammers will always attract investors in their hoax and fraud. Always visit scam accusation thread and you can see how many new projects being busted early for their wrong doing like copying whitepaper and using other people profile.
