I have seen that many gambling sites do not complete withdrawals until KYC is done. However, there are many gambling sites that don't require KYC to make quick withdrawals. And these very fast withdrawal platforms from casino sites are very popular among people. But people think of placing bets on casino platforms that cannot withdraw money without KYC. Because they don't invest in these platforms fearing that the people of the casino platform will misuse this identity document. But I definitely think that there is a worry in all platforms where money cannot be withdrawn without KYC. So if I bet on any casino platform that has a KYC system, I will definitely refrain from gambling.

I, too, would prefer to keep my privacy whenever possible.  And if we are talking about payments in cryptocurrency, then in general it was invented and created in such a way as to ensure the anonymity of payments.  This is its main advantage and feature.
Incorrect, not all cryptocurrency are created to ensure the anonymity of the users, most of them are centralized and they've track your IP address. As long as you're not run a full node on your wallet, this mean the validator know your location. If you have shared your KYC on the centralized exchange, then we can assume there's no privacy anymore when you're using that coins.

Quote
In general, legislators have distorted the whole essence of the cryptocurrency and neutralize its main function by introducing KYC and generally verifying the identity of the owner of the cryptocurrency.  And I don't like it at all.
Like or not, if you're keep using a centralized exchange, you're not protecting your privacy at all.

As we know, many gambling sites have Kyc requirements when making withdrawals. Some people may not have a problem with this condition, but some people think differently about doing Kyc. Some people refuse to fill in their Kyc data for fear of being misused. That's a natural thing, but is the worry too much?

Kyc actually has a function to prevent dangerous actions, such as money laundering. In addition, Kyc can also protect customers from account breakers.

Now there are several gambling sites that do not require Kyc to withdraw funds. That's good news. But I don't know if big money withdrawal need Kyc or not. I've never withdrawn much money.

Are you one of those who agree or refuse to fill out kyc on gambling sites? So far, the Kyc that you have filled in on the gambling site is safe? I've never had a problem with the Kyc that I filled out at the gambling site. Have you ever felt cheated from Kyc submitted?
Like you I make very small bets so I never had any problem with the withdrawals I ask, as this I something rare to begin with it as I usually deposit only the money I want to gamble and just leave it there until it runs out.

But on the instances in which I have asked a withdrawal then the money is sent to my address in a matter of minutes, however if I was forced to go through KYC as I obtained a massive win when I gambled then I would do so as I only gamble at some of the best casinos we have on the forum and I have no doubts about their reputation, but I will admit that if given the choice I would prefer to keep my privacy and avoid that process.
I've never kicked against KYC and never will I as this is a procedure that must be satisfied by any regulated entity. However, the regulation as good as it is in trying to protect our funds and rights might still be a reason why many would be forced to leak their data into the hands of bad people. This is real, and no matter how you think you trust a company, it's the personal integrity of the employee and management that will preserve your data.

And as for casinos, many might be using a kind of dangerous mindset for them but they are still companies. They have laws to abide by, so it shouldn't be much problem, or do we even have a choice?
I, too, would prefer to keep my privacy whenever possible.  And if we are talking about payments in cryptocurrency, then in general it was invented and created in such a way as to ensure the anonymity of payments.  This is its main advantage and feature.
Therefore, when a casino or another site with payments in cryptocurrency requires KYC, otherwise it simply will not give you your money, this violates this principle simply completely.  With the same success, you can simply place bets and play with dollars or local fiat currencies.  There is no difference whatsoever.  And now the obvious question arises - why do you need to pay with cryptocurrency at all when it’s easier and faster and with a lower commission (usually) to do it with fiat?

In general, legislators have distorted the whole essence of the cryptocurrency and neutralize its main function by introducing KYC and generally verifying the identity of the owner of the cryptocurrency.  And I don't like it at all.

People will say KYC isn't safe, but we all know they're lying because they've submitted KYC on various platforms.

If people really care with their privacy, they must be not sign in any centralized platforms including centralized exchange e.g. Binance. Submitting KYC on Binance is similar like you submitting your KYC on a centralized casino, you wouldn't know what they will do with your KYC.

Its a hole to the system they have for now which anyone who withdraw just few satoshis will not be asked to submit KYC. Its something the regulators could ignore.

If sooner the casinos will ask KYC upon withdrawing just $100, small users will walk out. Not gonna be a worth while inmy opinion.

    -  If a gambling platform is under government regulation of a country, it is normal for them to provide kyc requirements to their players so that they also know if they are fake or fraudulent.

Because if they do not do this, they will have a violation of the regulation that the government has. Now, if a casino online is not regulated, its risk level is quite high and it depends on you whether you will continue to play or not, that's why most people here are always reminding you to play at your own risk.

It’s relatively safe if it’s stored and collected by a trustworthy casino. Otherwise expect your data to be sold to ad agencies for research and targeted ads. And I know how important privacy is to most of us considering how aggressive these agencies are becoming by the day, and with news circulating that the government is spying on us. Anyhow, my point is that there’s really no use protecting our data if we have already sold it to somewhere else unknowingly. Facebook, Twitter, IG, and many other social media sites already did this in the past. So the least we could do for ourselves is just finish KYC so we can get on with our lives and be able to do tasks inside a reputable casino per usual.

Not saying we should just give up, but since this battle is already lost right from the get-go, efforts should be allocated over something else that people still could benefit from.
We dont know on what happens internally on which even if a certain trustable and reliable site, it cant really be still 100% where you would really be confident with those informations been stored up wont be used on other means. Im not saying that they are really doing this but we dont really know because once we had submitted then expect or already anticipate on what are the things that they could possibly do with those informations that had been gathered or accumulated. Some people do say that if they have done nothing, then why they would really be that getting scared of something?
Usually they would really be asking for some personal information whether they had seen something that you had violated their terms or you had able to win up some jackpot or huge profits
on which these platforms do usually this kind of standard asking out for verification which isnt something new.

I haven't felt cheated in way while complying  with kyc and people have to understand  that most times, its not actually the fault of the casinos asking for KYC  but rather the regulatory bodies and if they must obtain a license  to operate  in a particular  place, then they must have to adhere strictly  to the rules give to them by the government  and one of them is a mandatory  KYC and I feel we gamblers are making things even more harder for these casinos and making them make promises that they might end up not fulfilling.

I have no issues with kyc and provided a casino is trusted, I will always submit might kyc when asked.
There are non registered  casinos  that don't ask for kyc but I'm  sure people who gamble on such platforms are doing so at their risk as there is absolutely nothing  guaranteed  there.

I agree with you. if people are so tired and annoyed by the severity of KYC and other similar policies which involve money management on the internet, then people needs to take their feelings to their general elections and opt for candidates or parties which could accept the idea of getting the people some sort of solution which would protect their personal data and at the same time stopping those with the intentions to use casinos to launder money or defraud the casino itself...

We do not achieve much by complaining about it on the internet, if we think about it.  Tongue
I wonder if the libertarian parties of the western world would agree with softer KYC policies or more protection for the identity of gamblers.

KYC is basically a special identification system to protect against fraud, i.e. identification of the original user with certain information. Some casino sites do not require KYC for withdrawing dollars but some websites require KYC for withdrawing large amounts of dollars. In this case, all the countries where crypto currency has been legalized and KYC should not be a problem in cases where gambling and casino sites are officially approved. In this case, of course, you will have to pay tax to the government, but it is better not to submit KYC information to those websites that are managed by government tax evasion. In this case the user may face difficult problem for KYC.

The sad reality is majority of the  casino today even those who are reputable one are collecting KYC. This is why there are new casino that are offering NO KYC promise to attract some gamblers. It's hard to trust but yeah even high rollers can't be exempted in this KYC that is implemented by casinos. I hope someday that a trend of a no KYC casino will be born.
There is nothing sad about this, anyone that do not want to provide their personal documents can gamble on no KYC casinos. It is true that majority of the gambling sites today make their customers to provide KYC. But no KYC casinos even will require KYC if the customer win huge. There are many other reasons no KYC casinos can ask customer to provide KYC. With what I see as of today, if you want to withdraw huge amount of money, all casinos, including the no KYC casinos will request for KYC. But if you gamble and win little amount, you can still see a decent no KYC casinos for that.
We know that there's always a threshold when it comes to this manner, some are really that been stated or been said on TOS or even on FAQs on which you could really be able to read up.Although there are some who do might able to mention it but most of the time which these platforms wouldnt really be telling about on what threshold they would be asking out some KYC on the time that you do win big which it do really sucks
but as a gambler and having that kind of chance or luck on winning or hitting big then you should already anticipate that they would really be asking some verification. If not, then you are lucky on which you do
still able to hide your identity but if they would be asking out then you wouldnt really be having no choice but to deal up with it rather than on not to get those winnings at all.
This is why on the time that you would really be winning up something then anticipate on what would be the next thing to be asked about.  Grin

...

Zero KYC data is safe. None.

Even if you trust the institution you submit KYC info to not abuse it, they're still forced to follow the whims of law enforcement who can submit a subpoena and sweep all user data they want, including KYC info that's stored.

This doesn't just apply to casinos, it applies to any online entity that operates within jurisdiction of NA/EU. The power law enforcement has in these areas will present these companies with the options of complying with their demands or shutting down their servers.

Any information you share with somebody online isn't safe. Exchanges, casinos, even banks can get hacked. It happened in the past and it will happen in the future. If you are afraid about your data's safety then do not share it. I only KYC'ed to binance for example and don't have my private information on any other exchange. Tbh I wasn't going to KYC on binance too but I had no choice because the money I had there was pretty big and they refused to let me withdraw my money till I do a KYC...

My advice is, unless you really have to, never ever do any KYC.

It's safe if you're going to do it in a casino that is reputable and compliant with the authorities because KYC is not something you cannot avoid when you play in centralized casinos, they exist because the authorities granted them a license, and part of these licenses is compliant to authorities like Anti Money laundering board, so before you sign up be sure to check the reputation of the casino so you will have no issue in the future when they ask you to do KYC.

You agreed to it when you sign up so there's no way you can complain when they asked you to sign up and when it comes to KYC it always depends on the amount of trust you have for the casino you're playing.
When you sign up you should be ready to do KYC anytime when they asked you to do, they are not going to ask you to do KYC if there is questionable action on your account, its part of their being compliant with the authorities, its attractive for casinos to not ask for KYC but they prefer to be compliant for long term operation.
