Yeah, I agree with your point entirely, they still have potential to run away at any time with large amounts but for anyone who wanted to test a mini service from them I've been the guinea pig lets say lol. - I've seen people in their recorded payments send in multiple of the biggest package so there is some trust there.. I dunno though, I'm just happy not to have been scammed for now! Cheesy

& lol I know, in my head anti scam bump would mean to bump the subject and say they don't scam.

But if the idea is to collect as many money as possible at the same time, what is the purpose of imposing limits to accept requests?

Either too seem more genuine or it's real and they're trying to give others a chance rather than x amount of people just 'milk' their service?

I dunno it's strange, most people i've read of that claim to have been scammed have either not updated the latest or they did eventually get payment (later than advertised)..

Anti scam bump

I don't think you can "anti scam" it just because of that. Your 0.05 isn't what they are trying to scam  Cheesy

They will immediately pay anyone who is vocal about not receiving funds (because vocal people will also immediately post again once being paid and claim the site is legit--like you [sort of] did). That will get even more people to buy in.

The scam comes a little further down the road when they are holding 100+ btc and decide to disappear without a trace.

...As is their right to do, apparently, according the disclaimer on their site.

Edit: I was reading "anti scam bump" to mean you were changing your stance and not claiming it was a scam. But someone just used that phrase on another thread to mean it is a scam, so...  Huh

I thought I may have already 'accepted' it - but then I have no trace of it being received in my "wallet log" :S really confused!

Hey, basically I used the infamous Mining United a few days ago now, followed my payment and it seems they have as promised sent back what I sent + a little bit more.. (see proof below)

My only question is when will I actually receive the BTC into my wallet?
It's been quite a few days since "2013-05-04 18:50:29" & I know BTC payments are slower than LTC but all others seem to have completed by now..

Any help?

Well you already have it. It just sounds like your wallet hasn't synced properly or you just didn't see it.

BitPop, are you stupid? Bumping this topic doesn't help you. It only helps them, because new users will see it and might even send their BTC.

Don't get me wrong, I hate scammers who prey on the uninformed, but...
If someone finds out about a site from a thread that is all about how the site is a scam, but they send their money anyway and get burned, they got what they deserve  Cheesy

That's why I said I like SD, because it's obvious it's a gamble. MU on the other hand doesn't make that obvious which is why we need this thread. As long as people undersand the risks, it's okay  Wink
