He's already started a new site. These get stale quickly.

Well the thing that I've noticed is He's no longer putting links showing payment just posting paid or going out. And last weekend he ran his promo and if the queue is right took in tens of thousands of dollars in btc. Now he's running a one month anniversary double payouts with a bonus for more than 6 btc. He's also made the packages bigger and eliminated the .05 package entirely. So he seems to be doing all he can to grab as many btc as he can with all these promos. At the same time, he's not showing the confirmations of payments anymore. It looks like he is paying out huge amounts even early without any proof whatsoever. My gut feeling is we are near the end and he's trying to grab as much as he can before he takes off with the money. He hasn't been around much lately here either.

My prediction is the complaints and accusations will now begin increasing as those marked paid haven't been. The new deposits will slow to a trickle and he will vanish. I will be very surprised if things are still running two weeks from now. I expect the collapse is pretty much imminent if not already occurring. He's just trying to squeeze the last Satoshi out of this before he's gone. I could be wrong but that's my perception of things. If you have deposits with him, just hope you get paid, but I would highly recommend not making any new ones. This thing is about to blow up.

unfortunately i think your right ...he is not even trying to prove his system now

Seems weird to fast con me when he'd get a lot more out of me with a long con. I basically assured him I would invest a good portion of my reserve stack if he paid out the original investment. Why would he rip me off before getting to the really big payout? 30 coins is a lot less than the 300+ he could have had access too if he paid out.

miner 2584
wallet id 184hrB9GNJpQaLr5yqwxyZAjZWtB3t88Ek

blockchain.info verifies this although the site implies paid.

no communication over 48 hour period via 3 emails

You're completely missing the point. Man I should just start a scam.

You will prove nothing, you are only condoning it! You will get paid, post here and open up yourself and others to a much bigger loss.

Sure it would still be a possibility even if they paid me. BUT, if they're totally fulfilling the terms of the agreement, I don't see that as a scam. Seems to be a lot of people on the fence about this and plenty of people already 100% confident it's a scam. The point of my post was to state my stake and promising to report back.

If he pays me exactly what the agreement was, how can I say "see what a scam that was"?

The whole reason I posted is because there are a lot of people unsure about this guy. So I put my coins where my mouth was and decided to find out. If it works out, great, I'll be doing more business with him, if not, scam and you guys can all say 'I told you so'.

What I would advise gamblers like me to do is to wait for my results before putting any large amounts into them.

I have a much larger stack of coins so this is purely a gamble for me. If they come through I'll feel comfortable giving them more of that stack. I bought in cheap back when it was $7.2. I do NOT work for miningunited, if I did, why would I say I'm leaning towards it being a ponzi scheme?

Someone has to be a guinea pig, imagine if everyone called Avalon a scam? I'm not going to defend miningunited until they come through with the payment (which isn't due for another few days), but if they do, I'm going to let everyone know they paid me. If not, you can be rest assured it's a scam or a ponzi scheme.

That's not how ponzi schemes work, if you publically say that you are gonna test it (and even want to give more if it works) they will be glad to throw money at you for your free advertisment and possible next coins just to be able to scam even more after that.

If we want to test it, we have to give them less.
When it's no ponzi they shouldn't have any problems paying back, because they could run the mining for themselves.
If it's a ponzi they can only rely on SatoshiDice luck to be able to pay.

Placed a pretty big order 30+ BTC, I will immediately post the results which should help people conclude if this is a scam or not.

So far I am leaning in the direction of ponzi scheme, but if they pay me it's going to be hard for me to argue that. I would advise people to wait until they hear back from me before making any big deposits.
Either you are crazy, hoping you get paid because you are saying it in pucblic or part of miningunited.
Why would you risk over $3000 for this?

I wonder if he will ever get caught

Are you retarded? It says ON THE SITE that it is a scam. IT SAYS ON THE SITE HE IS TELLING YOU HE MAY RUN AT ANYTIME IN RED! Did you even read my POST??

CLICK THE LINK ON THE BOTTOM OF EVERY PAGE, AND IN RED IN THE TERMS:

Quote

**In BTC since 2013**
One question:

How can hash it takes to generate 1BTC in 24 hours? (Average)

To understand how far the interest rate is high and there is a potential scam.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
Just read the full story of what happened with "BitCoin Savings & Trust". Wow. Completely understand why there are such strong emotions. We have no relation to "Trendon Shavers or any related websites or services.
Mining United may not be Trendon but they sure learned a lot from his playbook.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
But if the idea is to collect as many money as possible at the same time, what is the purpose of imposing limits to accept requests?
Most ponzi schemes do this.  Trendon Shavers TFB(tm) did.  It is a way to get more money in the long run.

wrong according to block chain and my wallet....

https://blockchain.info/address/184hrB9GNJpQaLr5yqwxyZAjZWtB3t88Ek

only payment is my original payment to mining united

if you follow the "click here" sign (on mymining page) you will see payment goes to 2583 then gap..

Sending 3 BTC at one time makes you a "bigger fish".  By the time Trendon Shavers TFB(tm) ran the biggest fish had 10,000 or more BTC with him.  This guy is small time, but still a scam.  He will try to scale up as much as possible within the contraints of his system.

I dunno it's strange, most people i've read of that claim to have been scammed have either not updated the latest or they did eventually get payment (later than advertised)..
Trendon Shavers TFB(tm) also did this, right up until the point at which he took it all.
